I booked a plane ticket for $107 which is a great deal! BUT they called me not even 30 minutes later saying that when I booked the ticket it was apart of a promotion but I was no longer eligible for the ticket and charged me $250!!!! I have used Low Fare Travels before as well. That is the reason I went back to them. This time around our booking was a little more complex. We were traveling from SFO into Mumbai and returning from Chennai. We are a party of 6 with a 1 year old and 4 year old. We needed bassinet for the young one in all legs of air travel. We also wanted specific seating behind the bassinet row for the remaining 3 passengers. Jaspreet Kaur was out agent. She was very patient and worked very hard to get us the seating exactly as we wanted and on the airline we wanted. She was always available on the phone and responded to emails in quick time. Given all these complexities and the fact that we booked less than a month from the date of travel, she also got us a good deal on the tickets. I will be back with them for my future travel needs. First time booked( United Airlines ) three tickets in October 2021 with Low Fare Travel and Mr Sanjay ji did help from bottom of his heart. Bothered him many times to find out lot more about vaccinations. He always picked up my phone and helped me to load all required information on the website, which was hard for me to load all on Indian Government website. Can't say enough about their service. They took care of everything and gave personal attention and lowest quotes. Worked with Zarin who was very helpful in planning the almost last min trip. She patiently worked with all our constraints (and believe me we had many) taking personal interest in booking bassinet seats and food options. Unfortunately my daughter had to be hospitalized only a couple of days before the trip. Zarin showed all the concern and worked with the airlines to cancel and reschedule the trip. When the ticket aggregator refused to waive the reschedule fee despite the medical emergency, lowfare travels did not give up and gave me info so I could directly work with the airline. I booked tickets for my wife and son (5 yrs) to Chennai from SFO on 12/2/2015. Because of the intense weather conditions in Chennai the airport was closed indefinitely. I was so worried and went to see Sanjay at the Fremont office and he immediately contacted Cathay Pacific and requested a change of destination from Hong Kong to Bangalore instead of Chennai. Low Fare Travel is not the cheapest. I was charged $100+ extra for the ticket. After showing them the web link and screenshot of the cheaper price, I was told they don't price match. But before purchasing, they assured me that it was the cheapest. Also on my credit card I saw 2 transactions. One for the airline and other for low fare travel. Not sure why there were 2 transactions. I assume first they charged me the price of ticket and paid the airlines with my card and then they charged me their commission. I was referred to them by my uncle, but I guess I need to refer them to my agent. read more
