They take there time, explain what they're doing and create the most relaxing atmosphere! I've started scheduling one every other month! They also carry products in house so I was able to talk through ingredients and what would be best for my skin!! Definitely worth the money.

" LOL Let me start this review off by saying that one's experience and spa, at any point... Should never feel rushed or make one on edge. It is taking me a long time to post this review, because I like to believe the best in people. I want to think that she was having a bad day... But I feel an obligation to let clients know what they're getting into. NOTE: I was going to send this in an email to the former owner, Lisa but unfortunately the spa is *SHOCKINGLY* under new ownership now. (I visited the salon on my last trip to TN last July.) Emmy started the facial at 12:48 and ended the facial at 1:22. I'm not great at time management, but I could tell she was rushing, and she cut it short. I asked Emmy if she did the micro dermabrasion near my milia's on my eyes and she said no I'm not gonna put scrub on your eyes. I understand the eye area is delicate. I have worked in several high and spas in resorts. These milia's were big enough to get to safely- I only made the appointment because I was told him I saw that the aesthetician would take care of them. Upon getting into the treatment room, after I laid down onto the bed and was greeted with a knock maybe 10 seconds after getting undressed- I felt rushed, pressured and uneasy. I just washed my hair, and when she started putting stuff in my face, I asked if she had a headband or towel to keep it out of my hair. Not only did she not have a headband in the room - when I requested one she said, "I think I have one out there.." (with the pregnant pause and subtext of "but I'm not going to go the extra mile." (When anyone who has gotten a facial or done one properly knows the hair must be out of a client's face.) My response: "Oh if it's far no worries..." She never got the headband and continued with her "facial." Emmy immediately told me she couldn't do a scalp massage and a hand massage (or she'd run out of time,) and I said "okay, great as long as you can do the extractions!" Emmy didn't explain at all what she was putting on my face while she was doing it there was no communication it was completely uncomfortable.. nor did she ask if I had any sensitivities or allergies. RED FLAG. Nor did she ask if I wanted oil in my hair for the scalp massage I asked Emmy to get rid of the milias on my cheeks initially, but upon leaving on my way out at the front on, (in the reception area because I noticed she either forgot or ignored my comment and my right cheek had redness and heavy irritation due to her poking at the milias and not finishing.) When I asked about the milias she avoided completely and the two she picked at..note: this was in the reception area she said "THAT'S TINY and I have another client.. so I have to go." Her response in the most uninterested/unprofessional and catty tone. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism I was given, not only because of my experience, working in spas and going to many ... But also because there were other clients and the reception area, as well as the (obviously nice but learning,) brand new receptionist. If I was the owner or manager at this establishment, I would be absolutely mortified. I was embarrassed on behalf of the owner because it's a really cute place. I'm leaving the review now because I'm back in Tennessee and I still have hyperpigmentation from where she picked at my milias

Hi, I received a gift certificate from my daughter for Mother's Day and was so excited to go. The…read moreatmosphere was great and the sound of the ocean as well as the lighting were perfect; The therapist was very good for the most part, but I left feeling a little frustrated. I am an experienced massage therapist and have certain expectations from AMTA-certified massage therapists. I signed up for a 50-minute Healer session with no extras since it was my first time visiting NOW. I let her know my left hand was sore and asked her not to go too deeply around the small area by my thumb that I showed her and she understood. But then, after working on my back for most of the session, she only worked on my hands and arms for a few minutes each! All other areas were addressed, briefly, BUT my feet, neck, and scalp were completely SKIPPED over. I wanted this to be the best massage I ever had as my daughter has gone to NOW Massage in Los Angeles and raves about it and knows how much I've needed one! It wasn't that. And I'm sad. There were many things the therapist did RIGHT and great, but there was a bit of a disconnect and I left feeling unbalanced rather than balanced, which is the goal of theHealer session. Maybe she just lost track of time - or maybe it is standard policy to skip feet and scalp? All that said, I'm not giving up. I'll come back in a week or so and try a different therapist.

It is a beautiful place and I have had some great massage therapists…read more But... once you get on the membership and unless you use it on a regular basis, you financially lose. They will not allow you to stop the subscription to catch up. I had some extenuating life circumstances and could not get there and so now I get to lose hundreds of dollars which may now be over a thousand for nothing. Just billed to my credit card each month. I feel sorry for the front desk staff, Ive heard them get an earful from upset customers while standing in the lobby. I'll never recommend anyone get the monthly membership, you may save a few dollars on the front end, but you definitely lose big time on the back end, if life happens.
