While I contacted them in December, my only requirement was that it be done in time for Easter. The snow, ice, sleet and rain did not hinder them from getting it done in the nic of time! We LOVE our new Firepit and so appreciate Siteworks efforts to make this happen for us. They truly turned a sow ear into a silk purse ( Mommas saying) for us! The project was quoted far under the competition (RED FLAG #1) but the conversation and intent seemed genuine at first so we decided to support a local small business. By the end of the project, we were hit with a final invoice 30% over budget, to be surprised without warning financially hurt our family. This was just the beginning of the extra expenses needed to finish the project. Furthermore and to our surprise, OTH cannot help with any of the other critical elements of tree planting, e.g. drainage, irrigation, fertilization, etc (RED FLAG #2). The project was performed in late December without any research into the topography and the bed design created a dam that flooded come spring requiring us to outsource a team of landscaping professionals to install multiple catch basins / french drains to prevent all trees from drowning. More financial stress for our family. Sadly, we lost 10 trees dying due to improper planting (OTH installed out trees shallow, provided zero bed prep, and bad location of certain tree species). OTH became hard to get ahold of when we needed them the most. We let them know we had pressure from our HOA to fix the mess (RED FLAG #3). What is most disturbing in this whole mess is OTH not warranting the work they did and blaming us for the issues they created. Now we have holes in our deign, significant additional expenses, and not to mention stress and confusion. OTH is a poorly run business and we wish we had not selected them for our project.

The calamity that struck my house was the hail storm. It came with little warning and it was as disconcerting as it was brief as it was violent. When it was over, my screens were shredded and I had some paint damage. Seeing as that was all I could tell with my naked eye, I left it alone and kept it moving. That's when I noticed my neighbors getting roof assessments. I didn't want the headache so I tried to avoid it. But adulting doesn't let you skip out on the unpleasant things so I dove in to seeing what was what. Checking the Jelps, I found Bill Ragan and through Bill Ragan I found Chris. Chris was awesome. He walked me through what I could see and couldn't see. He had ladders, photos and information. He let me see that I sustained damage and needed a fix. When he gave me an estimated cost, I thought, 'I'm just gonna have to let this ride.' That's when he told me that insurance should cover it. Armed with that knowledge, I had an assessor come to the house. I was denied. Chris didn't let that be the end of the story. He convinced me to get an assessor second opinion. This time, he would be at my house when it happened. It did. He was. And I was approved for a new roof. The insurance company cut the check and I was on my way to a secured house cover. If I stopped the review here, it's an easy 5 stars. Chris was/is incredible. Unfortunately, Chris doesn't work on roofs. The crew came out (with Chris to introduce me to them and let me know what to expect) and they didn't share much of his ease, kindness or professionalism. They were unpleasant at best, rude at worst. A gentleman smoked a cigarette while he worked on my roof. The foreman was dismissive and unhelpful when I had questions. I texted Chris, who apologized, came on site and got the folks together but that wasn't his job. The job took two days and the install has held together fine (and the roof looks good). But being treated like trash in my own home is not something I take lightly. The crew did the work in mid-Fall. Thanks to climate change, it was still pretty warm out. Even so, I was preparing for my fall HVAC cleaning when I noticed a gap in the ceiling of my upstairs unit (in the attic). Not only that, connective piping from the unit had come undone in the roof work. I had a HVAC tech come out to fix the problem. He did so and showed me a few other pipe disconnections and gave me a horror story about carbon monoxide poisoning had I run the unit with the gaps and disconnections. Nightmare fuel. I texted the foreman. He went from unbothered to unresponsive. I went back to Chris who asked for photos, came out to inspect and brought Bill into the situation. Bill came out to my house, asked about what happened, listened, doubled checked the work (roof and HVAC) and covered the cost of repair. I appreciated that. And I appreciated Chris. But neither Bill nor Chris should have had to clean up a mess they didn't make.

There were no problems because the roof was installed so well. The whole team is fantastic. Buying a new roof can be stressful but this team makes the process stress free.

My experience with Bridger Designs was bad. It was a big job, so maybe they weren't equipped for…read moreit. They cut every corner they could. The job could have been completed in 2weeks--took 4weeks--but they had to come back repeatedly to fix their mistakes. They replaced 5"trim with 4"trim, so had to come back and put back in new 5" trim. The siding they used was shorter than the existing siding , so had to add trim on the bottom to cover the gap, etc, etc., etc. They made no effort to protect the plants around the house. Plants were broken, stomped out of existence, and overspray covers my rhododendron and laurels. I provided them with an itemized listing of all the plants destroyed (didn't include those oversprayed bc hope they'll be okay eventually) and gave them a choice to replace or deduct their cost from the total job. This winter I noticed in the garage/shed that there were huge gaps between the boards where they replaced rotten boards. If I could upload pictures, I could show this, along with the poor wood boards they used to replace those they removed. There is a 1/2" space between two boards. I texted Bridger Designs and asked them to replace the poor boards with good boards big enough so there wouldn't be gaps, but they refused and sent me the name of their lawyers. It was a poor experience all the way around. Every day I'd have to bring mistakes to their attention. The owner and manager weren't around. And, only one of the workers seemed to understand English. They kept having to do things over!! Why they didn't try to do it right the first time makes no sense except to save money on materials. And still, I'm left with a shed /garage that now needs serious repair--even the paint appears to be buckling where they made their patches. I filed a complaint with BBB, but they have not responded.
