We spent about 5 hours here on this trip, but I definitely could have stayed longer. There is a parking lot a block or two down the street, as a treat parking is limited. I had…read morebeen to the King Spa in Niles, IL several times and absolutely loved it, so I was expecting a similar relaxing experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely disappointed and more stressed than relaxed. I went on a Monday morning hoping to avoid crowds and have a peaceful day. Things started off on the wrong foot almost immediately. While I was simply checking the size of the uniform, holding it up to see if there was a difference in the width, an employee came over and snatched the second pair out of my hand as if I was trying to take something I shouldn't have. It was not a great way to start when I had barely gotten in the door. Next, the layout was also really confusing. The spa is spread across multiple floors with different sections and stairways, but no one explained where anything was or how to navigate the space. I spent a lot of time in the morning trying to figure out where I was and it felt like I was nosing around someone else's house: uncomfortable. The biggest issue, though, was communication. A woman in the locker room offered my niece and me a deal for two massages for $140 ($70 each) and asked me to send the money through Zelle. I sent $170, including what I thought was a generous tip of over 20%. She arranged the appointment, but I didn't confirm what type of massage I wanted. I foolishly assumed they would ask before starting. We had lunch beforehand - the food was delicious and the portion was huge. Unfortunately, they don't offer to-go boxes, so I needed to reschedule our massages in order to finish my meal. Before even finishing my meal, I went to the massage counter to see if we reschedule our appointments. A younger patron helped translate at the massage desk, but she needed my time slot and took it for herself. She told me the woman would help me reschedule and then left. When I tried to figure out my new time, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. I was given time without being asked if it worked for me, and when I asked about other options, I was told there were none. I would have cancelled but had already paid, so I took the L. When it was finally time for the massage, we were taken back without anyone asking what type of massage we wanted. I realized my mistake because it was a much more intense massage style and is not my preference. At that point though, after so many rushed and uncomfortable interactions, I honestly didn't feel comfortable advocating for myself to tell them I wanted reflexology. The final issue happened while I was changing before leaving. The same woman who arranged the massage came over and told me I hadn't paid enough tip. I was confused because... it was a tip. She told me I owed another $20 and (to add insult to injury) that I couldn't get my license back from the front desk until I paid. That brought the tip to over 35% on a service I didn't choose and didn't enjoy. I came to King Spa looking for rest and relaxation, but instead left feeling like I had spent my hard-earned money somewhere that never quite felt comfortable and certainly not welcomed.

This was the biggest construction project we've ever done - and it was the smoothest experience…read more From the start Chris, the owner, gave us the most realistic overview of the timeline and total costs - without selling it or sugar coating, so we were going in totally prepared, no surprises. He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! It was a very big (HUGE) decision for us - but we are so happy we trusted you. Our three kids are having the time of their life - this pool brings us so much joy already!! P.S. We went for the Crystal Quartz liner - so pretty, as if you you're in the South of France!!!

Booked a pool opening, paid in advance, and was looking for valet service as well. However, we simply did not click. What started as a miscommunication on the timing of his visit to open the pool, moved on to Ed accusing me of being passive aggressive in my communication (which he does not tolerate), and ended up with Ed accusing me of defrauding Naso Pools, by not checking a box on his webform. My feeling was that it was not a big deal he would charge me for all services rendered. He had my card data. Very odd escalation.....I was good until the defrauding comment came up. After out back and forth, we agreed that we would not be a good mix, agreed that we would go our own ways, with Naso refunding the thousand dollar plus payment I had made in advance. Almost a month later and no refund in sight, and have filed a dispute with Bank of America. I have no clue about the quality of his service, was fine with moving on, but I am not happy about having to have to dispute the charge. May take a month or two but I will get the money back, but that does not change someone trying to charge you for services never provided. Read Ed's counter; lots of analysis for calling just to find out if he was going to show. His planner that Naso specified an all day appointment, no other communication, no prior visit to confirm the scope of work. I see no problem asking for a clarification. Upon him informing me I missef a box, I told him repeatedly charge me for all required serices....and that the opening might identify other work which may need to be performed. I do nor understand why that's a big deal. Certainly not defrauding someone. We have found a great pool service company that's will to just bill me for services rendered. No stress no unnecessary bs. Ed's review gets personal, sticking to facts Mr Naso is taking money for services he did not render. Draw your own conclusions.

Paid upfront flor the year, he came once, never came again and stopped responding to texts and calls. That's right...took our money for the entire year and ran. I'm shocked no one has taken him to court for breech of contract. I'm clearly not the only one who has paid him and not received the product or service.

I've been working with Eric for about a year and a half now, and I even have his first review to…read moreshow how our relationship started. Eric is experienced and generally knows what he's doing. His pricing is also more competitive than most. However, actually getting consistent service from him has been a challenge. Our communication has been rocky from the start, largely because Eric is extremely unorganized. He's often messy with scheduling, and there have been multiple times when we agreed on a visit to a property, and he simply didn't show up--without any notice, and with no response to calls or texts. Another major issue is his temperament. He has a short fuse, and when he believes he's right, he resorts to aggressive language and constant cursing. Even when I prove him wrong and he briefly apologizes, the same behavior returns the next day. I've continued giving Eric business out of patience and understanding for his situation. I've kept him busy and even referred multiple clients to him, which brought him more work. But the last incident was the final straw. He failed to show up at my personal home for four consecutive weeks, despite our agreement for weekly visits every Thursday. As a result, I and my guests couldn't use the pool and hot tub multiple times. He promised to come the following day (Friday), apologized, and then still didn't show up. The final time I followed up, he replied with, "No, we are clearly not coming in the rain. Seriously?" -- without even a proper notice or attempt to reschedule. This level of unreliability and disrespect is unacceptable, especially after all the work and referrals I've given him. I've been patient long enough, but I can no longer tolerate this kind of behavior.
