Foolishly, we did not…read moredo our due diligence in researching different pool companies and thought because they're a national brand that they would deliver...wrong. I believe the Calvitti family has very little to do with the operation...it's fairly obvious they don't concern themselves with poor customer service or end product. We put a deposit down in August 2024 and the project is still incomplete. Insanely poor communication and expectation management. The original quote was over $60k with no clear explanation of what all was NOT included. Ended up being closer to 100k (some of which were upgrades we chose and understood) but lots of things, for example, filling in of trenches dug by the plumbing subcontractor...was not originally included or even mentioned (and cost an additional $1k). The planning phase was terrible we were prepared for our local township permitting and Blue Haven disregarded our input. They told us that things had been submitted, and when checking with our Borough Management, they had no knowledge of said permitting documents. The crux of it is that they hire out subpar subcontractors for everything. The sub they recommended for the patio work was to come back after auto cover installation - it has now been 2 months after the installation and they've still not returned to finish. The plaster company put down what I'm pretty sure is the wrong color plaster and it's extremely uneven despite following their instructions to the letter with brushing, chemicals, etc. Save yourself time, money, and lots of uneccessary stress for something that is supposed to ironically provide relaxation. Choose someone else. Anyone else.

You choose not to run the credit card until the pool is closed and has no bearing on my PURCHASE. You could have easily run a $50.00 charge on my card as a deposit on that closing.
