I didn't know anything about pools and wasn't living in the house and so was relying on their services. But this company proved to be unreliable, unresponsive, and low quality in terms of service and manager team. There's too much to say so I'll try to summarize - 1) will almost never call you back. left 5-6 messages for the valet service, and only called back once over the 6 weeks or so. same for the general line, and no one ever called back from there. the only way i managed to get through to anyone was calling repeatedly. Maybe once Tristan (?) called back with more info like he said he was going to. Generally unresponsive. 2) valet team unable to recognize that pool is no longer clear and should probably be shocked. i told the teams over and over again that i am new to pools and need their help and tried to learn from them what i could. i tried to be there for every service, and i even tipped them at times bc they were always patient and tolerant of my questions. but in retrospect the pool was becoming cloudier and they did nothing about it and kept telling me it was good to go. 3) the valet team lead doesn't know what she is doing - i sent her a picture with algae on the walls (uploaded separately) the day after the team serviced the pool and she told me it was from heavy use or dirt blowing in. none of which makes sense as i explained to her that dirt doesn't accumulate on walls and we don't live in the house and use the pool much. she doesn't have enough knowledge to process that, or to know what algae looks like. 4) the pool turned green after this despite two visits within days of each other, and she said it was my fault, and that their only job is to keep a pool clear, which also they did not do. i scheduled a service call to address the green pool, and she decides to deliberately screw us over and fire us as clients the day before they are meant to arrive because i complained about the quality of their service and inability to know what algae on the walls looks like. 5) there's a host of other things that went on including low water levels and a possible leak (which their valet service failed to understand). their inability to actually figure out the leak despite sending out a team (fixed by a different company i found), shutting off my pump and not telling me, servicing the pool multiple times in a week and still having an algae problem immediately following their service day. - During this process I even emailed her saying, this would be a lot easier if we could just talk on the phone, and still no phone call. Turns out she is one of the owners of the company and even the valet teams were face palm-ing at how bad she is at her job. - they are so unorganized that even after she fired us as clients, the valet team still came out to service the pool on their usual day. - if you read some of their responses to poor reviews you can see how unprofessional they are. - the only consolation is that they refunded me for the "leak detection", which was a failure, using an air pump that kept a poor seal. I asked for the last several service visits to be refunded since they were clearly ineffective. that one service they refunded was just a small percentage of the time and money i wasted on this company. Since you can't argue with people who don't care that they don't know what they are doing, I left it at that. I would stay far away from this company. In the google review you can see the obvious lack of knowledge in the pictures.

What stood out was how Christian took the time to discuss my budget and explain how we could achieve what I wanted without unnecessary costs. Christian and his team were ready to start the work just a few days after I signed the contract, which was awesome because I hate waiting and wanted to enjoy the patio ASAP. Despite some challenging weather, they finished the project within the promised timeframe. They were punctual, kept the site clean daily, and consistently showed up as scheduled. One of the main reasons I chose Christian was his hands-on involvement in the work. Unlike other contractors who might sub out the job, Christian led his team personally and was as involved in the work as anyone else. His expertise in stamping, which is an art, really showed. This is where you know if you hired the right contractor. The patio turned out even better than I expected. Dreamers used creative solutions to address issues with my landscaping and elevation, making the finish even better than I had imagined. They left my backyard clean and even dressed it with fresh dirt around the patio. My neighbors have been full of compliments, and I'm thankful to the local Facebook group for recommending Dreamers. Two years after purchasing out home, we learned that we had to relocate to Florida for work. We knew people would fall in love with the house as much as we did and that it would be a quick sale. Boy, very wrong. The offers came in quickly however, the sale did not. I sit here writing this review a year from the time we initially listed our home. Our prospective buyers inspection repair list came in at a whooping $100,000 and included a request to complete an exterior remediation because they suspected the stucco remediation competed just two years prior was not done correctly. We refused to fix because there was no evidence there was an issue - it was just done and we hadn't had any issues! But because we were selling and wanted to do the right thing, we reached out to an architectural firm and got their opinion. Unfortunately, the bad news came back that we truly did have an issue and we would need to start the journey to remove the NEW siding and replace it, along with all 43 windows and a couple of doors. We reached out to the contractor who originally completed the work. Given the concerns, there was clearly an issue with the workmanship and it should be corrected. The contractor declined to come look at the home and started blaming the previous owners who contracted him for the job. After several weeks of back and forth trying to get the story straight, we knew we had to move on and try and find a reputable company to help with complete the repairs. I reached out to at least 5 different contractors to try and fix the problem. I would either get proposals for a bandaid fix because they knew we were selling the home or not get in contact with them at all after calling multiple times and leaving messages. This was also in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic so contractors were busy and materials were starting to be scarce. It was a total nightmare. Thankfully I made a call to Glick's exteriors and Sam came out right away to assess the situation. Sam was able to identify the flashing issues and got to work. We had a variety of options to choose from with Certainteed and he did some hunting around to find quality windows and sliding glass doors within our budget. We replaced the lower tier siding with siding in modern colors that did the home justice. During the project, there were flashing issues identified with the hardscaping, we opted to fix the issues and the crew was also skilled to remove complete the job so we didn't have to hire another contractor and project manage schedules. Our home looks better now than the day we bought it people compliment us all the time on how it looks. Aside from the esthetic, the new windows now make it more energy efficient. It is like a 100 pound weight off our shoulders! The workmanship is beautiful. The crews are super professional; they arrive early, stay all day, show respect for our home and neighbors, and leave a small footprint. Sam, Scott and Chris are more than competent to handle stucco remediation and apparently failed remediations; they also don't try to sell you on repairs you don't need. Sam is a person of action - you call him, he calls you right back. You have a question or concern, he takes care of it right away. He made it as painless as possible, and is a very honest and humble guy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Glick's Exteriors!

They were timely, and did everything by the book. At that time, we needed to replace our pool heater, which WAS discussed with them; however, they did not offer any options for us. In March 2023, we contacted DPS to open our pool. At this time we had to schedule through their website, a contract was sent, and we opted for the opening with chemicals. The day of the service, we became aware that it was going to rain for the next 3 days and had questions because we were going to push the date out. I contacted Mike with my questions - he was very curt with his answers, so I got my husband on the phone because maybe I wasn't asking the questions correctly. My husband asked should we put the chemicals in because it was going to rain. Mike first replied that we had not signed up for chemicals, shortly correcting himself after going back and reading our contract. My husband went on to ask if they would be brushing and vacuuming the pool after opening. Mike replied that "we obviously didn't read the contract" and went on to read exactly what they WOULD be doing which did not include any vacuuming or scrubbing. My husband stated that as new pool owners, this was all new to us and that we were looking at DPS for their expertise! He said this would be our first opening and that DPS could "make alot of money from us not knowing what to do and we really liked how they did business." Mike mentioned about our heater, and we told him we got that replaced. He asked who did the work and when we told him Anthony & Sylvan, he became very quiet. Nonetheless, we kept the scheduled date and ended the call. Less than 3 mins later, Mike called back and asked me to get my husband on the call. When I did, Mike stated that he was going to "REFUSE TO SERVICE our pool because we didn't read his contract!" We were stunned!! I said because we asked questions?? He was adamant that was the reason. I said "let's be transparent here, Mike, what is the REAL reason you are refusing?" He said because we "had Anthony & Sylvan do our heater and didn't ask him for a quote!" How petty! We weren't even aware DPS DID pool heaters because he never mentioned it last year when he came out AND this year, we were only on his site to request to get on the schedule. Our heater had been replaced by then! He also went on to tell us that we are "not going to tell him HOW TO MAKE MONEY by suggesting that he could make a lot of money from US because he already has a lot of clients and did not need to make money from us!" I told him it was very unfortunate that he behaved in such an unprofessional manner, because we really liked last year's service, wished him & his business the best, and ended the call. No use using airtime with a person so arrogant and unprofessional. I still do not understand how he could "refuse service of a signed" because someone else did our heater (which was never contracted with DPS) but I'll leave that for my lawyer to figure out....

We decided to look again and received a few more quotes, and what set Miller Home Group (MHG) apart from all others was Jason's vision and ability see a layout that we could not see ourselves. I think this is the most important thing other potential clients of MHG need to hear...all of the other companies listen to our ideas and gave us a pricing... that's it...no new ideas, no excitement. Jason said, well hear me out... what if we put the TV wall here (a wall that didn't exist yet) and this angled wall here (another non-existent wall) to separate the gym from the living space... and before we knew it our space was maximized and it now feels like we have a luxury "five-star hotel" in our basement and we can't believe it is in our home. We began with the design phase in late February/early April and wrapped up as scheduled in mid/late August just in time for football season (for our seven-tv wall).
