The relaxation from the floating service with something I've never experienced before. Just peace. It was lovely.

This is a brand new facility with great staff and a high end setup. The infrared sauna is fantastic. Everything it is a private room.

I've done both an infrared sauna and red light at other spas but I liked both of these much better.

Also, don't touch my feet - thanks. No seriously, please don't. I don't have a say in it? Ahhh super.

You see yourself unclothing in a clean locker room, usually with a bonus steam or sauna room, and partaking in a variety of refreshments like nuts, herbal teas, and dried fruits. You get a nice plushy robe, a pair of slippers and wait until you are called to your room to begin the process. My guess is the Green Life Spa didn't get that memo. On Sat, a friend and I booked an hour massage. We arrived at a parking lot in the middle of an office complex. We walked in and there was a sofa to the left and a small desk in the right corner. We waited about 2 mins and were eventually greeted by a sweet Asian woman who asked us what we wanted. We informed her that we were there for our massage service that we found on Groupon. We were about 15 mins early so she asked us to wait. She walked us through a short hallway draped in what appeared to be a deep purple, crushed velvet material, into a room with two low massage tables and a sofa. The room was dimly light and soothing music was playing so I guess they read that part of the memo- but that's pretty much where it ended. Now let's get one thing straight, we weren't expecting the Four Seasons Spa experience but we could have never prepared for what was coming next. After the lady left the room, my friend suggested we turn on the light and oh that's when we discovered the horror!! First off I don't think they changed the sheets because one if the beds had a huge yellow oil stain and a piece of hair on it. They used paper towels with holes punched in the middle as face covers and there was a folded towel on the bed which we assumed took the place of the blanket that you are usually covered with. We looked under the table and saw two purple buckets -I guess purple is their brand color. Anyway, in one bucket was a bottle of pink lotion with a brown tip and hair on it along with some baby oil in a bottle normally used for cooking oil or sauce. There was hair on that as well. The other bucket had petroleum jelly and a paper towel and both buckets had hair clips. We contemplated just getting a foot massage but the more we sat waiting that even became unappealing. Not to mention communicating the shift in service was impossible. The lady was nice and professional and did try to get some clarity by calling a guy from another location that spoke English but the damage had already been done. We later realized that the plush curtains we walked by earlier separated the other massage "rooms" and after a guy walked in and said "are y'all ready for me" we were done. To top it off, even though we didn't get the service, they immediately redeemed the Groupon. So if you are looking for a relaxing, CLEAN, massage experience, stay away from Green Life Spa- you won't find it there.

Decent weight machines (few fixable issues) and free weights. Sauna is always a treat after a workout. Front end staff and sales are friendly and professional. The bad: Cardio machines... Fix all the broken equipment at the Downingtown location: ellipticals, no cup holders for the elliptical machines- safety hazard placing water bottles on the floor, ab crunch machine that isn't securely bolted to the floor, and replace knobs for the leg extension machine because the numbers rubbed off. Today I saw 2 ellipticals with "out of order" signs. The elliptical next to those 2 is also out of order. I'm sure there's more. This gym is not kept up with or safe with some of the equipment. Also in the aerobics room, there's too many mats. West Chester LA Fitness never received their order for mats which might be the reason Downingtown has too many. Somebody's got to deliver them to West Chester. Other members have also wanted to just bring them to West Chester but agree that LAF needs to do this.

Planet Fitness, which is cheaper, maintains their gyms very well. Their machines are newer, and it's much cleaner. I'm switching to ACAC which is a palace compared to LA. If you're gonna go the cheaper route, Planet is the way to go, however. LA is just gross.

I get certain benefits with being a lifetime titanium member, but they wouldn't even give me a bottle of water. No breakfast available even though they have a club lounge. The least they could do was leave the club lounge open for those members who qualify, and have some bottles of water, orange juice, and sodas, and even prepackaged muffins would be great. Imagine staying here and not having any services available. On top of that, the toilet in our room leaked all over the floor, two lights were out, the bathroom sink faucet was not mounted properly (it moved from side to side). The knobs on both nightstands were loose. This poor sad place is rundown.

A few things you should know before going to this hotel…read more First, make sure you get a good room location. The hotel borders both Rt 30 and Rt 202, so that many of the rooms have highway noise. The rooms are using single pane sliding windows, which are old and have some gaps, so sound definitely gets through. The WEST face, however, faces the shopping center and is much quieter. Second, this hotel is pretty dated. The rooms are clean, but they show signs of wear. The windows (as i said before) need to be replaced. Third, the front desk is a single station, and the staff vanished for about 20 minutes when I went down to report my HVAC problem. The hotel staff seems thin - so no coverage - and disorganized. The cleaning crews were great. I was originally put on the 5th floor, facing north (towards 202 at an angle) and I could hear the highway clearly through the window. I had to move rooms, because my original room had an HVAC problem, and the new room on the west side was much quieter. I don't know if I could recommend this hotel again, due to it's age and location. YMMV.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! PART 2…read more UPDATE. The business owner Tracy has attempted (AND FAILED) to do damage control by responding to my original horrible review EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD ALREADY RESPONDED TO ME ON THE PHONE...so there was no reason to respond to me online here...ONLY to try to twist the story and do damage control. Sad. She knows that YELP doesn't allow US CUSTOMERS to respond to the business owner's reply and that they get the last word on here, so they make it try to appear as though the customer is wrong or being unreasonable...so I am posting again to let everyone know how full of it these business owners are and how they are clearly trying to save themselves from ANOTHER horrible review, because they have MANY. See my original review below (I have attached a screenshot) or just go to the original post for it AND their reply (Yelp doesn't allow that many characters here to post it all). And why am I going through this trouble? To make sure that you good people out there do not use this company and end up going through what we did with them. So now for my reply to the business owner's response to my original post. TRACY SAID "You contacted us twice on July 12th regarding an issue with the heater not working and the water not flowing from the spa to the pool. Our associate spent time on the phone attempting to help you troubleshoot the valve positions and asked that you call us back if the issue continued. We did not hear from you again until the morning of July 14th." Wow, Tracy...you keep making yourself look worse and worse...what actually happened was that I contacted YOU on Saturday and spoke to your associate TWICE and had to waste a ton of time on two different calls troubleshooting the problem and NOTHING he told me to do actually worked, completely wasting our precious time. And the reason you didn't hear from me AGAIN is because my SECOND call had been a 10 minute call that was made at 3:54...AND YOU CLOSE AT 4pm!!!! AND your business doesn't open again UNTIL MONDAY MORNING!!!! So I actually have to tell YOU what YOUR business hours are AND when you are open and closed??? YOU ALSO SAID "The cleaning and chemical balancing services you were charged for were completed as scheduled, in accordance with our service terms." Well, Tracy...again...in accordance to service terms, and for a visit to be "COMPLETED AS SCHEDULED", YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SET THE POOL SYSTEM VALVES & SETTINGS CORRECTLY PER YOUR OWN INSTRUCTIONS (NOTES AND PHOTOS)!!! If you didn't do that, you DID NOT "complete as scheduled"!!! If the valves and system were not RETURNED TO THEIR ORIGINAL AND PROPER POSITION, you did not "COMPLETE AS SCHEDULED". If YOUR SERVICE VISIT and carelessness caused MULTIPLE ISSUES with our pool systems, then YOU DID NOT "COMPLETE AS SCHEDULED"!!! And this is all on top of the fact that because of what the technicians did, our system was malfunctioning FOR DAYS!!! "Complete as scheduled" means that you did what YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DO...and PROPERLY". Which you did NOT do. Yet, you STILL charged us FULL PRICE WITH NO DISCOUNT AT ALL for that service AND all the aggravation and inconvenience you caused us, YOUR CUSTOMERS, as detailed in my original post. Once again, YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS & all your negative reviews here prove it. And that's why we fired you and why you've lost SO many customers...and are getting so many bad reviews.
