(as stated by previous reviewer) Glad I called. Allison answered the phone and won me over. She assured me that Cabinet Factory only requires payment if you want to take their custom design out of their shop. This is standard for any cabinet design company. She also informed me that the sales people don't work on commission, so I could come in and talk to anyone who was available. This was good to know. For me it meant that they weren't going to be pushy, and they weren't. It also meant that on a day I wanted to visit or call and my sales person wasn't there, I could speak to anyone because my project was shared information. I met with Jeanette initially and she listened to me talk about my project. She came up with a design for me based on measurements provided by my contractor, and showed me a variety of samples. There was no pressure to pay her for the designs. Over the next several weeks, Jeanette worked with me to narrow down exactly what I wanted - and helped me find the brand that fit within my budget with the colors and material I was looking for. Speaking of budget, I did shop around before choosing Cabinet Factory. They are not only competitive, they are affordable. I can't say that for other companies I looked at. In fact two other cabinet places were much more expensive for much lower quality cabinets without as many bells and whistles. Over the course of a few weeks that it took to make up my mind, I worked with Jeanette, Mike and Allison. I highly recommend Cabinet Factory. Everyone was kind and I feel that I got a great deal on quality cabinetry.

This company is the worst company to deal with and will not honor their mistakes. Amanda is a witch…read moreto deal with so don't be fooled because I am sure she will say she did fix the mistakes. She lies. Any reputable company would have the decency to offer something anything for free even a baseboard for free. Not Amanda because she is cheap. The salesperson, Sam, and I had many conversations on my kitchen from drawers, lighting, design, pulls and they still got it wrong. She did not listen to my needs and what I wanted in my kitchen. The wrong size cabinets came, drawer was a false drawer, and no divider for trays. Now, today, trouble with under cabinet lighting which they won't cover the expense of the contractor having to install a new piece of lip to hide the lighting. The electricians were great trying to fix Cabinet Factory's mistakes! He told me today he is looking for a new kitchen and will not go to Cabinet Factory because of what they did to me. It has been 4 months of a nightmare with these people without a kitchen. Sam wanted to charge me $1500 more for the install of countertop. I went to 3 fabricators and all of them gave me the same price of fabrication, granite, install and sink. No one charge $1500 extra to do an install of the countertop. Who was going to pocket that money? Don't be fooled by Amanda, the co-owner of Cabinet Factory. My family was in the contracting business so I know what a reputable company is, and unfortunately, for me my dad and brother passed on and most of the people I know. They were in business for 65 years and not ONE complaint. Remember, I have been four months without a kitchen because of these people. Go somewhere else. Rae G

Not a great first experience here. Had items shipped here…read moreto Brandywine town Center. Got a confirmation mail that they arrived and when I get to Kirkland's 2 days later no one can find my purchases. After about 30 minutes The cashier told me I should call customer service to which my response was that she or someone else should since email clearly told me it was shipped to the store. At this point the manager stepped in and went in the back and checked and then called customer service. This took another 15 minutes The end result being that there was a mess up. The email never should've been sent to me to because items were never sent to the store so I was told to go home and wait a few days and call back. Now I have to say that the manager handled this well because she did in fact tell me she would call when it was in And she did. So I have no complaints with the management, just Kirklands methodologies in communication and shipping. And I probably would've given this two stars because the manager did try to help but I got really annoyed when I got a major item home and when I went to hang it the hanging materials were not attached to the item as indicated in both the packaging and the email. I'm Done with online- ship to store ordering. Anything I decide to purchase from Kirkland's in the future will only occur on the infrequent times I'm in the area.

We chose Pine Street for a full house remodel (replacing electric, plumbing, major structural…read morerevisions) of an historical home in the West Chester borough. Our primary objective was the highest quality work that would preserve the historical aspect of the home, but fully modernized and at the lowest reasonable cost. Nearly three years since we engaged them and we continue to feel like that was the best decision we could have possibly made. The essential things that made this experience wonderful for us, particularly as first-time home renovators, were the detailed planning and rigorous project management, the quality of craftsmanship and expert network, and the incredibly warm professionalism and care of the team. In sum, they delivered below our initial cost projections and ahead of time -- nearly the opposite of all the horror stories we've heard about some of the other crews. In the beginning, it was a very difficult decision to choose Pine Street. Their cost projections were higher than their competitors by A LOT. I nearly dismissed them because of it. But the level of detail and thoughtfulness in the bid really won me over. When I questioned competitors about some of the detail included in the PS bid, they would always respond that if that happened, they would need to increase costs, etc. It really made me worry about what final costs would eventually be and I ultimately chose PS for their transparency and integrity. Perhaps the best element of the entire project was the onsite project manager. This is a person who will be your main point of contact throughout, who will have all of the answers and will ultimately know your home better than you do. This is an enormous gift and a real relief in what would otherwise be a stressful time. Ours would call us proactively, make great suggestions and recommendations (things that you just don't know as you begin, but that are revealed as you get started). For example, he had a piece of reclaimed barn wood in his garage that he used as an accent piece in a stairwell or, in another case, was able to use parts of the existing rafters as trim in the bedroom. These little things feel brilliant when you're trying to preserve the feel of the home and keep costs low -- and these are simply things we never could have anticipated in the planning stage. This role in your remodel can really magnify the experience as a client. Another aspect to consider is that Pine Street has cultivated a network of people they trust over years of experience and working together. Every single person who came through our house was knowledgeable, respectful and responsive. The team would not have allowed it to be any other way. Further, at the end of the project, they gave us a portfolio of contact information for each person that had worked on the house, so if anything goes wrong or we need some additional work, we have a network of folks that know the house and that we know we can trust (and who, by the way, will be very quick to respond out of respect for their relationship with Pine Street). Finally, the part that is hardest to articulate, is the warm professionalism that the team brings. You'll feel it first with Brendon when you call with your first inquiry, but you'll leave feeling nearly astonished that the entire team carries it forward: problems will be addressed and solved before you even hear about them; the site will be clean at the end of every day without fail; the team will stop what they're doing when you enter to make sure you can see and understand the steps that are being taken (and they never got impatient with our very frequent visits). Again, all things we didn't know before we started but ended up defining the quality of our experience. It is an important decision to choose the right partner in these efforts. I can get easily stressed out by the volume of decisions that need to be made and was vigilant about costs and timing. The Pine Street team exceeded most of our expectations and left us knowing we made absolutely the right decision.

This was a big project organizing lots of materials, people--including us, the clients and juggling unexpected structural issues, so of course there were a few minor hiccups along with way and the project took a bit longer than initially expected, but this was in part because of change orders we made. All in all, a great experience. This was our first renovation and it was as painless as you can get. We've been recommending Pine Street for the high quality, good design suggestions and smooth process.
