I so very disappointed in this company. I purchased my home in New Braunfels near Gruene. I…read moredecided if I could not get approval for a pool I would move. I spent a year, getting estimates, talking to companies etc. I chose Premier, partly because they built my sisters pool several years ago, and seemed to have a good professional work ethic. I thought I would get the backing of the national company. The company/ store/ franchise in SA had just been purchased not long before I talked with the Werlings. It took a while to get approval from the city, then excavation began. Unfortunately, the dirt etc. Was laid into the street. Because I'm in a gated neighborhood, we must pay for our own street. Well the street asphalt was scratched and dented, and cut and worn down to very little, etc, as the spoils should have been placed directly in a trailer (to be hauled off). The equipment used to move spoils off of street into a trailer- damaged the street. I complained after it was picked up and Robs wife Venessa was working very hard to pressure wash the street. She did as good of a job as any one could at the time, but the dents, deep scratches and marks etc are still there. Then the form was built, (it is 1 1/2 foot above the ground) like a hot tub. It actually is a hot tub, spool, or a cocktail pool. Well the concrete for the base of pool was completed, then tile laid. Coping should have been next, I was told it was in stock, but it still is not here or installed. Rob wanted to pour the concrete around the pool before the coping was installed. Well a few days after concrete was poured, the rains came and all the rain came to my front door (actually it's on the side- like a courtyard, but main entry way to house) and water up to my threshold of my door. I would bet it went above weep holes, and water could have gotten in walls. There was no drain on my side of the pool, there is a French drain under the neighbors, next to their foundation. But on my side, all the water collected at my front door. I also had a pile of wood, concrete, pipe etc in my front yard and continued to ask Rob to please remove, or my neighbors were going to and charge him. I was out of town and texted me it had been removed, but only part of it was. There is still quite a bit of concrete pieces piled there. I expected my front yard and my side walk and driveway to need work after this pool was built, as we have very strict restrictions regarding color/ stain of sidewalks and driveways. Well several of the neighbors side walks are discolored as well, from the way they hauled items in, scratched them up etc. After calling many times and my calls and texts being ignored, Rob called and said his phone had gotten wet so it didn't work for 3-4 days. In the meantime, there is still this flooding issue. More than 2 weeks, after concrete pour, he sent a contractor out to grind down concrete, and they may have worked a total of 7 hours in the last 4 1/2 weeks, not coming close to completion. I believe Rob is trying to fix with bandaid. Several times I was told someone was coming to fix, but no show. I still have no coping, yet I have paid for all tile including coping and instillation of it. I have paid for concrete pour, I have paid for cool-deck/ to be sprayed on concrete all over poured concrete as well as in my side and back yard concrete areas. There is concrete on my gate, on my hoses, wires sticking out of concrete and little is fixed. At one point I was told they would be plastering directly after Easter, but instead, I have paid for much work that has either not been completed or been very inferior work. The grade of concrete has to be corrected before cool deck can be poured, but the grading of the concrete to change the flow of water was just started and may take several months. I am so upset and irritated. Robs wife Venessa is very nice and appears to be understanding, but I just wanted a pool and that means... junk in yard hauled off, coping sealed and put on, concrete corrected, cool deck sprayed, top sprayed, plaster or coating put in pool, equipment installed and hooked up properly and yard and gate and concrete off places it should be. The forms have not all been removed, after 4 weeks- really? I can see this taking until end of summer, if it ever really does get finished. I do not understand, why I am being taken advantage of, because I have paid, they quit working here? Really? I am not pleased with being ignored. I have contacted national number / web page for Premier Pool complaints, I have heard nothing in response. I am spending an enormous amount on this pool, and I feel I am being treated very unfairly, since I've paid for more than I have received, plus I've been ignored. Ironically, I'm not even a complainer, this is insane!

Even after the project was done, their commitment to our satisfaction didn't waver. They followed up on the pool, came out and checked the levels, made sure we knew what we were doing. The relationship built between our family and the owner "Carl" is now a lifetime friendship. We're not just happy with our pool; we love it! , and that's all thanks to them. I had asked them to give us a quote to resurface the pool as we wanted to start exploring options. In hindsight, I should have asked them extensive questions about the entire process. It was only after things happened that I was made aware of stuff. My lack of knowledge and their lack of being upfront created major issue. I sent Mike 2 pics by text with examples of what color plaster I was wanted. I wanted it to be a medium-dark blue color. I have included the EXACT pictures I sent him in my review. Their company replastered the pool. After the first plaster job was done, I immediately noticed that the color wasn't exact. I was a little concerned, but I know that they had explained to me that the color will change as the pool is filled up and the plaster cures. So I sucked it up and hoped for the best. Then ONLY AFTER the plaster was done did anyone tell me that I had to brush the pool 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks. That is a HUGE deal especially when its up to one person to do everyday. Another communication issue that seriously irritated me. Prior to the first plaster job, I was told I'd pay half the job up front and the other half after it was done. But what that really meant to Mike was that I got to pay half the job up front and the other half before the plaster was cured and the pool was filled and balanced. That is a bunch of crap. And despite my better judgement, I paid him. Mike told me "We aren't going anywhere.. This is an on going process." During the curing process of the pool, I started to notice these big white swirls in the plaster color. It made the color look like blue sky with clouds. I brought this to their attention immediately. First they tried telling me that its just part of the color. Which I responded that I never asked for clouds in my pool. Then I was told that it was a mineral build up on the plaster as it was curing and they needed to do whats called a "hot bath" to get rid of it. That never happened because what really ended up happening was they sent a guy to our home with a pvc pipe and the acid and spot treated the really bad spots. Which didn't help at all. It took them 3 weeks of us constantly harassing them in order to get them to finally address the problem. Their solution was for us to pay for the "upgrade" to pebble material and they would pay for the plaster and labor to redo the pool. We were really hesitant to do this because of all the mediocre things we noticed, but again against our better judgment we thought maybe we were just being too harsh and to give them another try. We paid them additional money for the upgrade to pebble and decided while we were doing it over, we'd have the water line tile replaced as well and paid them for that. The second job, my husband and I took lots of pictures of the process and kept a close eye on everything. It was a nightmare. We were told the job was going to take about a week to hammer out all the old layers of plaster and then replaster. Fine. What happened was that it took them a week to hammer out the old plaster and then we had to wait 2 weeks for them to finally come back and plaster. All the while Mike's trailer for the concrete was parked in my driveway. Which, not Mike's fault, but because my husband had to park on the street, his new truck got hit. That was just another crappy thing. Anyways, the work crew left cigarette butts, empty bottles and cans in the street and yard. They used our shovel AND our wheelbarrow without asking. They splashed plaster up on top of our gutters and after I noticed, I asked them to please spray it off when they were done. They never did. As for the 2nd pebble plaster, the color is what I wanted. Unfortunately, this job had problems. First being the water line tile is crooked and wavy in spots. Then they got the pebble uneven in spots like near the pool light and on one of the stairs. They also failed to suggest redoing the drain at the bottom of the pool, which we were open to and actually brought it up to them. But when they redid the plaster, they broke our grate and ended up having to repair around the grate, STILL to this day never replaced the grate with a matching white one. They also failed to seal around the jets which caused a big leak and resulted in having to drain half the pool, chip out the new pebble plaster and seal then redo the pebble plaster around the drain. Their half ass guys didn't acid wash that spot at all, so now we have a really light colored patch around one of our jets. The solution Mike came up with? Redo the pool a 3rd time. Hell no. We asked them to refund us for what we all thought was fair for the problems. Mike at least obliged and I'm thankful for that. I was limited in the length of this review. No recommendation.
