From our very…read morefirst meeting with Micah in design and sales to working with Brandon, our project manager, everyone was professional, creative, and wholeheartedly committed to making the experience positive from start to finish. The team brought our backyard to life. Micah was creative and thoughtful from the first design visit, taking the time to understand our vision and create exactly what we wanted. The crew worked together, and their collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Brandon truly stands out as professional, organized, respectful, and very patient during the evolution of our construction project. Cody Pools completely transformed our backyard, and now that the install is finished, we are happy to recommend them. We only recently activated Cody Pools' cleaning and maintenance program. Noah provides weekly service, checks and adjusts the chemicals as needed, and always communicates clearly by calling or texting before arrival. He leaves the area in great shape every time, with no mess left behind, and the service is offered at a reasonable cost. Thank you to the entire Cody Pools team for delivering a smooth, high-quality, and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Cody Pools for both pool installations and ongoing maintenance.

We have up graded the skimmers, the pumps even bought a larger system to move the water better. Never waited for anything g to just break, stayed ahead of maintenance and weekly care. NEVER EXPECTED to have chunks fall out of our concrete retaining wall for no apparent reason. And when say chunks, I mean chunks. Such large pieces have failed out, the rebar can be clearly seen. So I do what any responsible customer does, call Cody Pools. The transfer me to warranty department. I explain what has happened and the woman gives me a phone to a masonry person. I call this person, as I was calling, I was thinking to myself, if a customer called me saying chunks of the retaining wall, that a vendor of mine built was cracking out of the wall, I would want to ask that client more questions that I might need to turn over to my Quality Control Department might want to look into. But I guess not. Maybe this is normal for Cody Pools. I know when I called around for estimates I got questioned on "did you say chunks???" But anyway I called the masonry person and he spoke such little English we couldn't understand each other. So I gave up on that vender and started calling around. Needless to say Cody Pools won't be a company I recommend.

For example, they put no drainage in a large expanse of pool deck and porch and the whole thing had to be redone. Major components of the pool equipment had to be replaced. They keep you informed throughout the process and are VERY transparent about what is going on. They always notify you when workers are coming, and the owner personally shows up multiple times each week to ensure that the work meets his very high standards. The quality of the workmanship is remarkable, our pool is a very simple rectangle but looks like something you would see in a resort. They will not only build your pool, but you can also have them do your maintenance at a very reasonable price. There is no doubt that Dream Pool Creations takes pride in their work and I would not even think twice about referring them to friends and family. I am a disabled veteran, so I had some requirements to ensure that I can use the pool safely. The owner spent hours with me designing a pool that would fit my needs and make sure I would be safe in the pool as well, this personal touch to already stellar service is something you do not experience often these days. After this process, I was provided with 3-D mock-ups of what the pool would look like in my backyard, which was instrumental in finalizing the design. Work began promptly and the work site was so clean at completion, you would never have been able to tell a pool was just installed. High-pressure sales tactics are not used by this company, they provided me with a fair quote upfront. They will not call you a week later and tell you "If you agree now, we can take 10% off", or "I spoke with my manager and I was told if you sign now, we will give you a discount." Follow-ups were to ask if I had any questions and they were always respectful and never tried to guilt trip me or sway me to make an emotional purchase decision, it is obvious that Dream Pool Creations wants to establish a great vendor/customer relationship, not just sell you a pool.

On Saturday I asked him to please let me know if he wouldn;t be over on Friday as I always have people over to swim and I am in the pool everyday - he said he would - meanwhile, I'm losing a lot of water in my pool everyday - I can't figure out what's going on - this has been going on for like 2 weeks so I finally walk down to the pump and when Cory cleaned the DE Filter and backwashed the pool he didn't close the valve tightly and water was coming out of the backwash hose. I emailed him and heard nothing - today when I asked him about it he denied it was him but yet he was the only person that had touched the valve - and again - he didn't come on Friday - I called him at 5 PM he said he would clean the pool Saturday - I asked him today Saturday why he didn't just change me to Saturday - he shook his head no and said that I had called him early and that he normally calls at 6 PM if he isn't going to make it that day. lastly - I have DE shooting out into the pool-I tell him about it - he blames it on me and my equipment, however, I know he probably tore a grid. He leaves without cleaning my pool, gives me a refund and texts me that my pool has too many problems - well duh - he's the pool guy - oh and also - he wants payment up front before he does the work- DO NOT USE OR USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

James "Jim" Knudtson built a pool for my family and I this last summer and we absolutely love it!…read more Building a pool can be a very daunting process but Jim truly made it very enjoyable and at the end of the 6 weeks my family and I were very sad to see him head off to his next project. We found James Knudtson Pools through our neighbors who had him build their pool that we absolutely loved. We inevitably built a pool very similar. The last reviewer stated that "Jim only gives referrals of his friends". I did not know him prior to him starting our pool, I only know of his work through our neighbors. Since the pool was completed I have had ZERO issues with the pool and with the equipment he installed it is very easy to maintain, a few minutes every Saturday morning. The stone work that they did looks AMAZING and I have had ZERO issues with it. I did have the gunite around the exterior of the pool during construction but if you have ever seen the process I don't think you can avoid it. As a recommendation I would leave a few extra $ so that you can do a little landscaping, makes all the difference in the world. Prior to starting the build Jim provided a payment schedule and never asked for anything before the set dates, even had to make him take a check once. Jim's contract is simple but I like that, I'm a simple guy. Jim was available 7 days a week, even on Sundays while my wife and I picked our stone. Very good customer service, the dogs even loved him! As for the pool equipment, a cup of coffee and 5 minutes one morning and you can figure it out pretty easy. We just fired up the Jacuzzi a couple weeks ago and it heated up super fast and was SOOO worth it. I would absolutely recommend James Knudtson Swimming Pools and if I ever move, he will be building my next pool. If anyone would like to see his work I can provide pictures or through Jim you can see it in person. As another note: Listen to what he tells you regarding picking the right stone and you will be happy!

If we had not watched his work the result would have been much worse.

BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!!!! Thank GOD for our "old pool guy" that didn't know what he was doing…read more Because if it wasn't for the old pool guy, I would have never found Absolute Pools. My pool was GREEN because the "previous pool guy," thought he knew what he was doing. The PREVIOUS POOL GUY said we needed to drain the pool and refill??? We even contacted Leslie's Pools to come out and they sent the wrong guy. He was a tech that serviced water pumps. Guess they didn't listen to well regarding our request. Then were the recommendations of pool guys from friends and all of them NO SHOWS. Every pool guy that got recommended never showed up. So I rolled the dice and came across Absolute Pools on google. He was working on a SUNDAY (MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND) and said I can come out today to look at your pool. I WAS SHOCKED! He arrived on time and looked at the GREEN pool stated NO NEED TO DRAIN We just need to treat it and I will have your pool looking good again. He explained what was going on and was very knowledgeable. I put my trust in his services and "HE WAS A MAN OF HIS WORD." The pool is immaculate. The staff is very punctual, show up every week and get the job done. I will continue to praise him because he was my saving grace before I gave up on my pool. 2 months later my pool is still beautiful and very inviting. Thank you Absolute Pools and your staff for keeping to your word. I highly recommend you. Signed Memorial Day Disaster.
