Johnny is the very best professional friendly and each time. My nails looked more gorgeous and artistic

I took a job in Canyon Lake and I was in a bind. I had to get my nails done and I didn't know the area. It was a Sunday and I didn't think I'd find anyone to take me this late in the day. I googled this place and was a little skeptical at first. I called at 5pm and told the lady who answered I had a 20 minute drive. Her friendly voice took me immediately. I was so relieved. When I got there I was still flustered from the day. It was a nice location. I sat at Tony's station and he got to work immediately. My mission was simple: nude shellac mani. I wish I had time for a pedi too. The chairs looked so nice but it was cold and I was on the move. I had to get back to CL. Tony did such a great job on my nails! He was so kind and helpful! He took care of me in no time and I was back out the door again! I would recommend this place and ask for Tony! read more

I have been here probably 5 times and keep giving them chances as it's a convenient location for me but never have great service. They push gel so much and it seems like if you get regular polish they kind of brush you off and don't do a great job. I paid $30 for a basic manicure and had shellac removed then a clear coat on top - they didn't even clean under my nails and left some gel on. read more

Tech cut me high up on the back of my ankle with the metal grater. I ended up at the doctor with a serious staphylococcus infection- lab culture confirmed. And when I posted a public service announcement on social media I was bullied by one of the manager's clients. Or was it the salon? Because the name used to blast me on social media does not exist in any public search. Fake name? read more

I have been here multiple times, and I'm still debating if I actually like their skills.... Removal has been great but this past time I'm very much excited to have them grow out so I can remove them! They are not good and are crusty feeling, they have texture to them which is not fun ! Idk what to truly think about here. Tina was nice but she kept saying "I'm the professional let me do it" which would have been fine if they came out better.... read more

I have been here several times and I keep giving them chances, hoping it would get better. Today was the last chance. I specifically picked the collagen pedicure because of the 14 minute foot massage. It was about five minute massage and my polish looked like a 2nd grader did it. Five minutes after leaving my nail polish literally melted off of my toes. He put acetone in the polish to try and thin it out, but it did was make it like water. My pedicure was very hurried and I will not go back. read more

Do not go here! I went in to get a new full set and my nail beds were completely destroyed. I told him multiple times it was hurting and he kept filing. I finally said I was done and do not want to get a new acrylics and he called over the manager who did nothing. I asked for my nails to be cleaned up and all he did was cut my cuticles ( I did not ask for). And left every nail a different length and jagged. Think you just clawed your way through concrete how your nails would look. That's how they turned out. Then checking out he has the audacity to charge me for a manicure. Worst experience I have ever had I will never be coming back here. read more

Disorganized, thick nails, unsanitary, too expensive, unbelievable wait time, didn't offer me refreshments.

Very disappointed. Made an appointment on my lunch hour for fills. First time visit and during my appointment took another customer who came in for a repair to her previously done nails. One day after my appointment first nail started peeling, then the second. Three days in I have 4 nails peeling. Won't be returning. read more

I went today for a mani/pedi. The nail tech used a metal file on my toe and cut it. It bled for 30 minutes. It still hurts. She also pulled the wrong nail color. It was rushed and sloppy. When I paid, I showed the owner my toe and she said, "it's okay, use Neosporin." She offered no apology, no discount, no nothing. I will not be returning. read more

My toes and fingers are happy. I have been coming here for a few years now. It's always been a great experience. All of the techs are wonderful. Yesterday, (2/10) I went in and Tina took extra time to take care of my ugly big toenails and made them pretty again. She also did a beautiful job on my fingers. I will be requesting her the next time I go in. read more

Once my tech realized I wanted a basic pedicure and no polish her anger began. I wanted to take a one month break from polish. She was rough, sloppy, and quick, she started my new set of fingernail acrylics in the pedicure chair and went sporadically back and forth with my pedicure. So my leg would be out of the water freezing while she worked on my fingernails. She clipped my long acrylic nail and it snapped off causing a lot of pain. I soaked my fingers in acetone during the rest of the pedicure which was longer than I've ever had my skin in acetone. She was obviously talking about me to her tech friends with anger. When we moved to her nail station she started clipping my cuticles which I've never had done with a new set of acrylics in 30 years. I asked why and she said I need a manicure too. I told her I just want a new set of acrylics as she continued to clip my cuticles and she showed me the menu and said " only $27". That would be on top of the new set that I was there for. I told her I don't want a manicure too ( the new set replaces a manicure) and she agreed to charge me $10 for a manicure instead of $27. I stayed firm and told her I only wanted to pay for a new set. She acted like she was in a rage during the rest of my treatment yanking my hand up and throwing it down. She didn't shorten my left hand at all but shortened my right hand. I went home and filled my nails to be equal and when I put socks on they got caught in my toenails. I don't know if they get a commission or what but she acted so angry she couldn't think straight and she talked to all the techs that would listen to her about it. One week later the nails were lifting so bad I had to get a new set. read more

Go someplace else. We had a larger group that my normal place couldn't work in so we tried this spot. I needed a regular pedicure as I get one every 3 weeks. Longer lasting is not my priority. I selected regular pedicure from the menu & the tech immediately tried to up-sale to gel or longer lasting options. When I said no for the 3rd time she became very rude & rough. She didn't trim my cuticles and the polish doesn't even cover my toenails all the way. It was a horrible experience & I will not return. read more

Nice salon, usually very busy. I recommend making an appointment. Some nail techs do a better job than others.

Second time they have messed up my appointments. Very rude manager-Vivian. Not returning for sure.

Elsa has been waxing my face for over two years and she's wonderful! She takes her time to do a thorough and professional job. What makes me so angry is the management. They're like a sweat shop! They don't seem to care about their staff and it's ALL about the money! Yesterday, I knew I was going to be in the area to run errands, so I called to see if Elsa was working today. The man who answered said she would be working. I asked what hours did she work and he said anytime and asked if I wanted to make an appointment. I told him no, I'd call tomorrow when I knew my schedule. Today, after lunch, I called to find out when she would be available. A woman answered the phone and told me Thursdays were Elsa's days off. This isn't the first time they've gotten me inside their door and then try to pawn me off of someone else. One time, I got there early and she was still working on someone and they tried to hand me off to someone else. I explained that I was early and I'd be happy to wait. Seems like it's just getting butts in seats. Management cares more about their bottom line than one of their own staff losing an appointment/money. read more

I went it to get my acrylics removed and to get gel over my natural nails. The nails tech cut my cuticle with cuticle clippers and I was bleeding through the whole appointment. She proceeded to put some liquid and powder on it that painfully burnt the open cut. She put the powder on with her bare fingers and was using nail brushes to clean the blood as well. When bleeding didn't stop she offered to glue the cut with nails glue! She proceeded to polish my nails with the gel nail polish even though I was bleeding and there was dry blood underneath the gel. I left in pain with pretty big open cut on my cuticle and a bad gel set. When I got home I called for a refund and they refused. read more

Go somewhere else. My tech was great and took her time but the two running the register rude and kept telling my tech that she was taking to long. Today was my second attempt at this place. It was packed and my nail tech was only concerned about how much money he could make off me. I agreed to the top of the line pedicure at 65$ with another 20$ on top for shellac. I don't mind paying good money for a great pedi and mani - not so in this case! Crappy shellac job and the tech was in such a hurry he cut me with his clippers. I also got dip on my nails that apparently were supposed to match. They could not be more different!!! So dissatisfied and disappointed- i just moved out here but will be driving 30 minutes back to my old nail salon. This place Is too crowded, too fast, too loud and did sub par work for what they charged. You be the judge with my photos - do these even remotely match? read more

My 2nd time to this business. I was not happy the first time but thought I'd give them another chance. I asked for a regular manicure. They got me in fairly quickly but the service is quick too. I felt like they are running an assembly line. Hurry one client in so they can get the next one in immediately after you leave the chair. Not a lot of time spent on the manicure. I'm used to getting attention to the cuticles and a relaxing hand massage. Not here. Got the manicure on Sunday, by Monday the color was chipped on several nails. On the upside they didn't try to push any of the more expensive services and it was quick. If you're in a hurry and don't care about the quality or long lasting results, this place might work for you. Not for me. I will not recommend it to anyone. I will keep looking for a better place. read more

Went in couple days ago, a nail tech named Jake, he was a pro. Not just finish my nail on time, but I got everything that I could possibly asked for. Love the design, the color and etc. even though the whole salon was busy, but he wasn't trying to rush through the service, instead he patiently listen to what I'm looking for and they turned out amazing. Would definitely go back and ask for JAKE. Hopefully he's not all booked by my next service read more

You may have a better experience. Pedicure was mediocre for $65. Technician spent majority of time talking to technician working on my wife's pedicure. Today is the grand opening at Beautiful Nails and Spa and they are offering great specials. Needing a pedicure I decided to drive a little further and try them out. It was busy at 10am but I was immediately greeted, offered a variety of snacks and drinks, and quickly seated in one of the spa pedicure chairs. My tech, Julie, introduced herself and within minutes my feet were soaking in warm water. I opted for the deluxe pedicure which included a paraffin wax and leg massage at the end. They have quite a bit of colors to choose from. Almost too many but I settled on a holographic pink and gold one. Julie took her time and made my feet look and feel great. The paraffin wax at the end was the icing on the cake and my feet felt incredibly soft and pampered. Beautiful Nails has been the best pedicure place I've found so far in San Antonio. There are many nail places to choose from but you can tell they are going the extra mile to make their customers feel appreciated. read more

Save your money and go to any other nail salon! Every time I go it's a HORRIBLE experience. I've given this salon chance after chance and after my experience today, I'm done giving this salon my business. I wanted a basic French pedicure and the nail tech, Jimmy, chopped the corners of my nails, completely unnecessary. Cutting the side of your nails the way he did causes ingrown toenails and INFECTIONS. I stopped him as soon as I realized what had happened and immediately stopped the pedicure...at this point i was so upset I no longer wanted a pedicure and was getting up to leave. He went to get the owner and 2 other nails techs came over to ask what happened...i showed them how he cut my nails and they were trying say they could fix it...and asked to put acrylic on the sides of my nails. Absolutely not. The nail techs did agree with me and they also couldn't understand why Jimmy had cut my nails the way he did. After them consistently asking to finish up the pedicure I did end up agreeing and finishing the pedicure with the nail techs but there was no apology from the previous nail tech Jimmy or the owner... or discount, absolutely nothing. I will be watching out for any ingrown nails and infections. I will be reporting this salon. Again, please just do yourself a favor and go to a salon where all nail techs know how to do a PROPER pedicure. read more

I've been here a couple times, and although the service was decent, the last couple times have been a nightmare. Sloppy (hurtful techs) cutting cuticles (more than a couple times), rushing, and not being up front about wait times. Last time I came in on an appt and was switched stations THREE times before they started. Today I came in with my 2 daughters, we asked if they could see us for 2 full sets, and 1 fill. FORTY minutes we waited while they took 3+ walks ins in front of us because we weren't also doing pedicures. (I was just in for a pedicure last week) Currently there is 3 men sitting at a pedicure stations, and they waited 20 minutes to go back, and now have been waiting almost A HOUR with socks, and shoes still on with no clue when their gonna get serviced. It's NOT OK to waste you paying clients time EVER. Being short staffed is not ok to not be upfront about your wait times! I opted to let my bf's daughters do their nails as their only here for the weekend, and allow another adult to take my place trying to be courteous of the other clients. This place is always so quick to take your money, but so shady with the service they provide- Don't waste your time. Edit--- She just tried to charge me a $20 difference because she drew 2 small hearts on my 1 daughter nails. I won't be back-if anyone has an awesome nail tech in stone oak, bulverde, or new braunfels let me know ! read more

Couldn't tell you how many times I winced at how deep she was digging into my toes. It was like she was performing surgery on non existent ingrown toenails. Other tech left my friend in cold pedicure water for 20 minutes to go do someone else's nails. To where she just got up and put her shoes back on because who wants to wait that long. Zero communication and talk about you literally to your face with the other nail techs. As far as the full set, it went well and she did great.
