I've been here before and never had an issue. I was excited to go there with my niece. We walked in to see if we could get manicures and the lady at the front desk would NOT look at us. I even said hi to her in a friendly voice and she just wouldn't look up. We stood there for a couple minutes. My niece was confused to I told her we would just go somewhere else.. I had a gift certificate for a free manicure though so I called their number to see what the deal was and they kept saying they didn't see me... I was standing RIGHT THERE. So I just said "it's okay, we'll just try again some other time have a nice day." And hung up the phone.. I'm guessing the owner called me back, when I answered I told him it was fine and I was no longer interested and drove back home to West Salem to get my nails done somewhere else. These people are rude. A customer came in right before me and was dissatisfied, I'm guessing they didn't help her cuz she stormed out after I had left. read more

My favorite place in Salem for pedicure. They spend extra time massaging and adding various creams and exfoliating lotions. The bonus is they only charge $25. I've paid double and haven't enjoyed it as much as I do here. read more

This was my last visit. Been coming here for almost a year. They tell you its ok to come in and/or you have an appointment and they let the walkin's overlap their appointments. I scheduled a fill and wax. Missed my time on the wax because along with me...they were tending to anyone walking thru the door. Prices are fine. Nice place. If you get a fill...only ask for Katie or they could come out lumpy. I did notice they hardly write appointments down...they just say yes, come in. They are timely and polite. Not an over abundance of English. But they smile and make a warm welcoming environment. The cost for the service is very reasonable. I do not recommend this place at all! They have extremely bad customer service. I called in and made an appointment, made almost a 40 min drive!! Just to get there and have them lie to my face saying I had called in to cancel my appointment and reschedule for the next day ! Then three women came over looked at my nails and then said they didn't have time to help me. What a waste of time I wouldn't come back here if they paid me to! Oh my goodness, I can't tell you how disappointed I am in my SNS nails. My friends mom treated us ( my mom, niece, and I ) they did my nieces nails and toes (just painted, no massage, no soak ) for $15.00. They asked me to do my nails first, which was fine but my mom was getting her toes done and I we couldn't sit together and chat which was a bummer since we were getting the same thing done. My nails were short, but not too short. I have always gotten shellac or gel, but I wanted to get SNS because it lasts for 4 weeks oppose to gel which only lasts for 2-2.5 weeks. I am just so sad. They look horrible. And they told me that they couldn't shape my nails because they weren't long enough, while they grinned and filed down any length that they had. The pictures show you. Uneven, messy, terrible, there's bubbles throughout each nail. The lady didn't even put lotion on my hands or anything, so they are still dry looking. And I have to wait a month to get them fixed. Then I'm getting a pedicure right now and the water is cold, I've asked twice to put warm water in, but they won't get it warm enough. ( my mom had the same problem.) Not to mention that the water smells weird. I hope they do a better job. But I will not be returning to get my nails done here. I enjoy going to This Ones for You nail salon on Lancaster, the owner there is wonderful, and I always ask for her. I still can't get over how horrible my nails look. You live and learn. I think my mom is happy with her nails, she got full color instead of the French tip. read more

My best friend and I got our nails done. She got acrylic French tips and I got acrylic with shellac on top. The French tip was more than just the tip, it was practically the whole nail. She also was cut on one of her fingers and polish wasn't taken off all the way. On my thumb, the shellac smudged and was left with hang nails. Le's has undergone a big renovation and the service areas are updated, clean and inviting. The service is excellent. The chairs are new, they use a disposable liner for hygienic concerns, and have sterilized tool packets. I have never heard of anyone getting an infection from this site. Also, I have never had a bad pedicure and have been coming in for 4 years. They take time and massage the heck out of you. They often do not speak as English is a second language. They are not rude, quite the opposite. The co-owner is a man. He is working and taking calls, makes appointments. He is professional. He has never been curt to me, just busy. He is usually running between the phone and a client as he does nails. The owner is often there and speaks English fine. There are others in the salon that also speak English well enough to understand what you want. They do not always talk to you during the whole process. That is a plus for me. It is a salon owned by immigrants, there are cultural differences, embrace them or go elsewhere. There are multiple signs in the salon to indicate it is a cash only business. I imagine they do not want to take away from profit by paying credit fees which is their right as a business. This also keeps costs down to the customer. There is also an ATM in the foyer for customer convenience. The prices went up a few dollars to help cover the renovation. $28 is still a great value for their version of a pedicure. BTW, they have a book at the desk that records tips for each employee. You can also hand your tip to an employee to be sure they get it. I have asked and the staff says they get their tips. I would highly recommend for value and safety, comfort and service. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option. The staff is rude and the man who owns the salon who is usually always there is HORRIBLE he is so rude and disrespectful. I went in for SNS twice I experienced breaking and cracking very few days after being done, when I went back in to have these fixed he told me I was a liar and did not have my nails done with them... my mother had a pedicure done there and was cut so deep on her toe she bled profusely, the lady doing her pedicure covered the blood with clear nail polish and proceeded to use a visibly dirty tool on her open wound. She has since then reported them to the health department. On 2 separate occasions I was charged not once but TWICE for my services. When I brought this to the mans attention he said to me "that's not me. Leave and never come back!!" I showed bank statements with their name associated with the charges.... I urge you not to visit this nail salon. read more

I have gone to Le's for years. I have never had any issues with regard to scheduling or quality of work. Their remodel last year included the practice of disposable liners in the pedi beds to ensure reduction of health hazards such as nail fungus. As another poster stated - I shake my head at some of the negative reviews as I have never had any of those experiences. I strongly suggest the customers make an appointment as opposed to relying on walking in - they are an extremely popular business. read more

Will not return. The manicure looked like a two-year-old did it. She only polished the middle of my nail and did not give my nails enough time to dry. She turned off the nail fan after only 5 minutes and said, "OK, you done." Because my nails were not dry I ruined two of them. My family and I have been going to this location for a few years. Yesterday I made an appointment for myself, my mom, my sister, and many niece for a pedicure AND a manicure. After speaking to the location 3 times we found a time that would work best and I verified with the gentleman twice that it was for both pedicures AND manicures. When we showed up for ourappointment the man proceeded to tell us that we were only going to get pedicures because they didn't have time. He was very rude to us while explaining. We got our pedicures and the women did okay on our nails but they didn't scrub my get to get dead skin off the bottom of my feet. We are all very disappointed with the service were witness today and the nerve they had to charge us not only over full price but also not give our pedicures the time they needed. After being a regular here for manis and pedis, I'm sad to say that they've lost my business. I went in for a manicure a couple of weeks ago and the owner (older gal who sits at the first station on the left when you walk in), booked the appt and did my nails. I told her from the time I called that I didn't want shellac, just a regular French manicure. When it came time to paint my nails she pulled out the shellac equipment while I was back washing and when I came back and reminded her that I didn't want shellac she turned into a sourpuss. She isn't the friendliest to begin with but this was unreal. She also was going to skip right over the massage and when I asked about it she seemed put off (probably surprised that I called her out) and said " shellac doesn't come with massage", to which I reminded her once again that I hadn't booked shellac. The massage is my favotite part and even though she went ahead and did it, you could tell she didn't want to. Oye! It's disappointing when places increase their prices and cut corners, especially since she knows I've been going there for 5+ years and that I knew what to expect. I won't be going back. read more
