The woman who was told to give me my pedicure did not speak English. I could not ask her questions or make any request. If I did she had a questioning look on her face and did not respond except to smile. I was there on a Friday afternoon and there was not one customer in their salon. I would think, if the owners were good business people they would find a program to make available for their employees to learn to speak English and help tutor them. I believe that then they could draw many more customers. I don't see myself going back there in the future unless I hear that the nail techs speak English. I don't see how a person can get certified to do nails if they don't speak English in this state. read more

Shout out to Christy Nails. I've been going to them for several months now and have been very pleased . Today I had my first glitch. Within a few minutes after I returned home from my manicure. I had a small chip in my nail. I returned to the salon to have it repaired. Rina completely redid the chipped nail as well as adding another coat to all of the other nails. She went over and above what I needed to fix it. I highly recommend this salon. read more

After moving to the area, I have been trying to find my "nail person," you know - the one you call and specifically request. I found her today! I went yo Christy Nails years ago, and did not have a good experience. Now under new ownership, the experience was totally different. I do a dip manicure with tips. Things I loved about my appointment today: 1. They don't soak your nails in acetone to get the old dip off, instead, they use the drill gently to get it all off. 2. They check in frequently to make sure you are OK with the color, shape, thickness, etc. Versus waiting until the end and asking if you like them. 3. The finished product is thin! I have been to so many salons where I get done and it looks like I have chunks of polish on my nails because they are so thick. 4. They do prefer cash, as most salons do, but their ATM fee is only $.10. 5. They are quick! I was out within 45 minutes. Request Rina/Rena? You will not be disappointed! read more

In town visiting and needed a pedicure so I chose this place per their ratings even though they were not recent. First off they are very friendly. I would rate them about a 7 out of 10. I would have liked him to focus on my calluses of which he did not at all though I did see a sign that said calluses $5 so perhaps you have to pay extra as I did for the hot wax (extra $5) Overall it wasn't my worst yet not the best I've ever had. read more

I was somewhat disappointed with the final outcome. The young lady that did my pedicure was amazing!!! Polish was a little thin in spots but the massage was excellent!!! The gentleman that did my manicure was gentle but the polish was thin and my cuticles look a little sloppy was polish on them. Went in two weeks ago for the first time. The cleanliness of the shop is low. They used dirty yellow cloths for my pedicure. They did not ask me for my own nail kit, yet charged me for a new one when checking out...they used their own. My set of acrylic nails fell off after a week and I was terrified to see yellow underneath them! I am positive this review will get an automated "under new management" reply. Don't do it. read more

Date of Service: 8/9/23 The new owner is wonderful! She was able to schedule a 6pm appointment so I could treat my best friend to a pedicure after she was off work on the only day we could get the service while I was visiting. I decided to get a manicure as well and as of 8/24/23 I have not had any chips or peeling! My friend has enjoyed her "pretty nails", too. The atmosphere was calming and pleasant. What a great experience. My daughter & I went in last week for pedicures. This was our first time @ Christy's and we were so impressed. We had the Luxe package, and from start to finish we enjoyed ourselves completely. The hot stone massage was to die for!!! And our toes and feet looked and felt fabulous. Christy Nails is a friendly place to go get your nails taken care of. I've been there 3 times now so giving this review is based on my real experience. The owner Peter and his wife or sister are super kind to older people. They are very respectful and gentle. I have gel nails which they soak and file down. They don't need to talk your ear off and don't have a TV blasting away. They just painted the walls a very beautiful shade of blue. I feel wonderful after going there. My nails last very long because the job is done right. My toes nails and feet are pampered just right. I think Christy Nails is a very good value and very reasonably priced. read more

Will never go back! Instead of soaking my acrylics they peeled them off causing my index finger to bleed! I went in for a pedi and mani and got absolute garbage!!! The person who was painting my fingers didn't use proper technique and I'm starting to wonder if she even had her license to do nails! She had someone come finish her work for her because it was so sloppy. Based on pedicures only: - Love the Jelly pedi stuff, its like jello for your toes! - Love that they remember my name, just one of those little things that makes a huge difference when deciding where to spend my money! - The foot and leg massage included with the pedicure is delightful, by any of the staff. I'd go everyday just to get rubbed on! - Lots of color options and they do great designs (and take special requests) - We had a group of 3 people, made an appointment just that morning, and they were ready and waiting for us when we arrived and took great care of us. I'd highly recommend making an appointment if you have more than 1 person. They do a lot of walk-ins and some people were having to come back in 2 hours, that's how busy they got while we were there! - The whole place got involved in the Family Feud game show on the TV which was pretty awesome. read more

I arrived to a nearly empty salon. . Hummm...I wonder why?? I asked for gel nails and regular polish for my toes. He started with my nails, which puzzled me. I thought he would do the toenails first so they would have had time to dry while doing my fingernails. I was not happy with my nails. He had the polish begin far from the cuticle, which made it look like the manicure was old. Then we were ready for the toes. Not wanting to spend a half hour or so sitting alone with this young man, I opted for the gels. They dry dry quickly. I enjoyed the massage chair but he didn't give me any instructions on how to operate the darn thing so I ended up getting beaten up by the chair. They were listed on line as inexpensive. I don't thought their rates were the same as neighboring salons. . When I got home I kicked off my shoes and socks and that's when I saw the polish on my big toe was not cured long enough resulting in waves and bumps in the polish. Definitely would not recommend this salon. I gave it two stars because the young man was polite. read more

Wasn't impressed with the appearance and cleanliness when we first got there, but once they started taking care of my mom and me, they're ally changed my option. Pedicures are only $25, and you get so much. Plus they pay great attention to detail.
