I'm not gonna lie, these nails look great! The lady seemed to put the time and effort into them as well. However, maybe the lady who I got needs a long vacation? Seemed kind of tense and annoyed at everything. She even might have a bit of an eye roll problem. Haha. Don't take it personally, I might too if I did nails for picky people all day long too. If you can handle a little eye roll I recommend this place!

2 top photos = images I brought in & asked if they could re-create. 1 bottom photo = my "real nails," after verbally accosted me. FAIL

Would you like to spend an afternoon being scolded, belittled, overcharged, and leaving with a "Nailed It," version of the printed manicure images you brought into the shop? Well, head on into Top Salon! I called to make an appt yesterday, one pedicure (my friends birthday) one manicure (to celebrate my own ). We arrived, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. I confirmed with the first staff the price she quoted me yesterday, she hesitated, but agreed (that's a different story, but $25 quoted vs. $66 charged--not counting tip! Money I would be happy to pay, if I wasn't scolded, verbally accosted, and had a real life "Nailed It," wretched nails, compared to the images I brought to show staff *see collage...to view what was actually completed on my nails). The technician looked at the photo I brought, rolled her eyes, and handed me their big file full of 120+ nail colors (those long ruler type colors on a keychain, with many single acrylic nails, each a different shade). She took one of my hands and thrust the colors into my freehand telling me, "YOU find the colors" (that would match the photo). With only one free hand, and adjusting back-and-forth between hands, I attempted to locate each color ...with its distinct three-number code, then I tried to type that code into a new created note on my phone. The technician loudly, rudely, gave me the universal "double cough" as I was absorbed with stumbling through nail colors in one, freehand, and using that same freehand, to type matching digits for 5 different colors. During our time, I was transferred to a second technician, and approx. every two-minutes the new gal yelled and scolded me, not to relax my hand, but to, "stop...keep your fingers spread out!" then, "don't let your [bottom of my] hand touch the table!" I sat upright, my wrists, becoming fatigued, to follow her instructions. I tried to make small-talk, asked her about herself--it only seemed to irritate her more. Once, when an alarm went off on my phone, she shouted at me "don't touch that, your nails are not dry!" because it was an alarm, the sound was not going to stop unless I touched the screen on the phone, which was located in my front shirt pocket. I carefully lifted the phone--gingerly using the sides and pads of my finger, but my ring finger (which was only 1/2 completed) barely scuffed across my shirt, leaving a small smudge on the (barely finished) nail. This sent my technician overboard "I told you not to touch that! Now look what you did! I have to do the nail all over!" she bellowed. I apologized again, profusely, looking at the nail, which took her less than 10 seconds to smooth out. When she finished the tips, she asked me what I wanted next. I carefully brought out the photos--once more-- the ones she hollered at me to "put away" (top two images from the collage below ), this time she shouted as if I had spit on her homemade cookies, "I don't need to see that picture again!" I softly folded the images, and tucked it to the side, telling her about the hearts; adding if there was not enough time or if task seemed too difficult... She could skip the hearts or place one single heart on the nail. even with photos of the images, even knowing what a heart should look like, presumably she has drawn and painted hearts over 40-50 years of her living on this earth, what did I end up with? My left hand, couple of chaotic, crooked blobs, with some semblance of a heart. My right hand, completely filled with single dots of paint that she swept two small corners upwards, in a quick effort to create a "heart shape" but truly created more bat like creatures, a flying V, or W in some cases. The French tip nail, and length not matching either. happy birthday to me? Not! The place was busy, but it is summer and many women were getting their toes painted. My friend appeared to like her own pedicure. However, I would not recommend this place or ever enter again, unless a completely different technician was involved.

If you're looking for an overpriced, unprofessional service provider, this is your go-to salon…read more I've never been treated so poorly by a business owner (yes, owner) in my life. I'm actually surprised they're still in business with how expensive they are. Not only that, they charge for things that should be included in their already high prices. The owner doesn't seem to care that customers are the only reason companies are in business, but would rather argue and demean people. Moreover, they don't check email, blame you for them not reading their emails, and then tell you they're OK with losing you as a potential long-term customer. If that's not the definition of poor customer service (even before getting services done!), I don't know what is. I don't know where the ego comes from, because in the service industry, that is not how you win business. The "better-than-thou" attitude is not appropriate, and there are many other salons in the metro area that treat you better for half the price. Update: I don't want to bicker back and forth. After having met the owner in person, I was considering changing my review. I noticed, however, that there was a comment (and a rather unpleasant "review" from the owner below) that my appointment was verbally confirmed. I personally don't recall making a verbal appointment, as everything I can remember was done via email, but that does not excuse how I was treated. This is not about who's wrong and who's right. It's about how you treat people, and I've not seen anything since to indicate that this review was unwarranted. As a small business owner, I understand people can be rude, but that doesn't mean you have to be doubly rude to them when there was a misunderstanding. Treat people with respect and do the right thing.
