I've given a 1 star to this review because a rating is requested. Much more than deserved. I have been frequenting Elegant Nails for a year, manis and, more often, pedis. Always busy. Over time, the trick of sticking someone is a spa chair to soak for 30 minutes has gotten very old. Had an appointment, stuck in chair for 30 minutes. Two people without appointments were taken ahead of me while I soaked and fumed. At 30 minutes after my appointment should have started today, I walked out. In our small town, services are tough yo find, but I am done with this salon. It's not pleasant to feel foolish and they managed to anger me to the point of kissing them off. I can do without the cold water and anger. read more

Although they did a good job on our pedicures and the ladies were very nice and apologetic, I will not be going there again. Our appointments were at 5:30pm, we didn't get seated until 6ish and they didn't start for another 20ish minutes. She left halfway thru mine to help a coworker and came back a while later. Fortunately we didn't have plans afterwards, cause we didn't get done until 7pm. read more

Thu Le helped me soon after I arrived & gave me a perfect pedicure doing a great job of cleaning out my toenail camping dirt & a very nice massage too. I've found my place. read more

I will NEVER return here!!!! such an embarrassment as a company.... how can you publicly shame and blame a client who has to come back in because you messed up their nail's!?!? how dare you talk about clients behind their back and embarrass them in front of other clients. That poor girl I feel for her. You guys are the rudest I have seen in a long time I'm definitely calling the owner and Better Business Bureau because you guys are horrible people! My wife and I went to get a pedicure and the man was AMAZING. He read me well and was patient and extra gentle with me as I was very apprehensive about getting one. He was fast but thorough. He made small talk but worked quickly and efficiently. We're going to be repeat customers. FYI though you have to tip with cash as you don't have that option at checkout. read more

If I could rate this a negative start, I would! This place is horrible! Staff are rude. I've gone 3 times and the third time I went was when I had enough. First time I went was around 2:00pm. I walked in for an eye brow wax. I knew the wait was going to be awhile so I was okay with it. I told the lady how much I wanted her to wax off but it seem that she didn't listen or simply ignored me so she waxed more than she had to. Second time was to get my nails done. I called this time and got an appointment for an acrylic. When I got there I had to wait 20 min. By that time it was 630 and they closed at 7. The lady who did my nails was in a hurry that she missed a couple of spots and my nails didn't completely dry. The third time I went in with an appointment at noon to get a mani/ pedi done. I waited 20 min and was still not seen so I told one of the staff that I would be at Sallies looking around and to call me once they were ready. 25 min had gone by and still nothing! By that time I was frustrated and decided to buy my own kit and when I was about to check out one of there staff comes in to tell me that they are ready to see me!! Are you kidding me!!! The lady at sallies heard me and had mention that I wasn't the first customer who leaves that place happy. So ladies save your time and money and go somewhere else! I took my grand daughters to Elegant nails. My service with Amy was good. However the service my grand daughters experienced was not as good. The persons who served them were to eager to get to the next customer without giving them full service. Also I resent being asked to pay for your nail files without being warned. They should have a sign up. "EXTRA FOR NAIL FILE." read more

The worst experience for my nails today with the Owner Mayle (so?) he slammed through it, was rough and the end result was sloppy. Also, had a pedicure and the sweet girl did her best but was so light in massage that was disappointing but her work was fine. This place is missing the basics like brushes to wash the dust off at the sink, etc. read more

Not the best place for acrylic. Seems to be ok for a simple mani or pedi, but not if your looking for something extra.

I wish this had negative ratings. This place is HORRIBLE. The man here is EXTREMELY rude. It was my birthday, I waited an hour and a half before I got sat in a chair. Once in the chair he told me I had to pick another color because the one I chose wouldn't work. He did my two friends nails before me. Didn't even trim their cuticles. Her acrylic was so crooked the nail might as well been sideways. She went in the next day to get it fixed and he tried arguing that it was fine. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE read more

If I could give this place 0 stars...I would. I had about 15 minutes to kill and decided to ask for a simple manicure. Plus they had the MC/Visa logo on their door. The paint job I received was sloppy. Seriously, I could have done it better. I ask if they want me to pay before they paint...the nail tech says no. So I don't. Then after sitting in front of an itty-bitty fan, drying my nails, she comes over and tells me I'm done. Great, so I go to get my card (and yes, I was careful) and my nails get ruined...she sees this and offers nothing. At this point, I just don't even care. I can fix them better than she can. So I hand her my card, and she advises me there's a fee. What the heck? Why not tell me in advance? So this crap manicure job has shot up from $10 to $12.50. I just tell her it's fine and pay. I will NEVER return! EVER! Ps - my nails starting chipping the next day. Maybe they're better with fake nails, I don't know. read more

This was one of the worst manicures I've ever had. Stopped in on my lunch break for a shellac manicure and had to wait while the nail tech finished pujmicing the dead skin off her heals. Once she began my manicure (without washing her hands first) she acted as if she was in a race to finish in record time. Extreamly rough and even made me bleed. I also don't belive she was properly trained on the process of shellacing. The polish is so thick and bumpy in spots it looks like my fingure is mutated. Save your money and time. Don't go here. Oh, and instead of nice relaxing salon music they had the 12'oclock news blaring. Nothing like being bombarded with news about murders, hit and runs, poor economy, and puppy pills while youre trying to have a relaxing manicure. read more

I was open minded about checking this place out and giving it a shot since it had an overall good rating. When I arrived the nail polish selection was quite small. When I sat down for my pedicure it took awhile for someone to service me. During my pedi I felt it was a bit rushed. Not to mention the massage was not even a massage. It was just lightly rubbing. Did not meet my expectations period. I sat there thinking to myself why I didn't just go to my usual salon in canby called nails 2000 when at least you pay the same price for a pedi and get a drink and wax included. The service was terrible at this place I just couldn't believe it! Next was my gel acrylic manicure. The woman who did my nails had a injured finger and kept putting a cut piece of plastic glove on her finger to cover it. It kept getting ripped off by the nail file drill. On the third time it happened she cut my finger and a piece of the glove went flying at the customer next to me. We were both annoyed but my nail tech just laughed it off like nothing. She left in the middle of my session to wax someone's eyebrows. Just left me there sitting like I had all the time in the world! She came back and when it was time to paint the gel nail polish on. I picked a color and she said she didn't have it pick another, so I did, and that one was even chunky she had to put a chemical liquid to make it useable. she painted my nails blotchy and didn't clean it up to make it look fresh. She left some on my skin and didn't wipe up. She also filed my nails all crooked. I had to come home and file it evenly myself since she refused to do a good job. Overall I am so dissatisfied and disappointed. Not only do I feel ripped off with a sh*tty manicure but I spent 2 and a half hours suffering in such a crap salon. Next time I get my nails done I will drive to canby to get it done. Nails 2000 is actually much better then I give them credit for. Elegant nails was so bad that I would NEVER step foot in their again. read more

Sad to say, I didn't even make it go get a pedicure. I called literally 3 hours ahead to schedule my appointment and when I showed up, they said sorry we don't have time for a pedicure. Come again tomorrow. Maybe they shouldn't schedule appointments if they don't have any slots open. Waste of my damn time! read more

Everything about my visit was rushed. From the moment I arrived at 230 on a Friday afternoon. The gentleman who I guess was in charge was annoyed that I was a walk in and rudely told me to sit and wait not telling me how long... So after a thirty min wait I got into a pedi chair that had a massage feature but it didn't work. So rude customer service, crappy chair then a rushed pedicure (just an FYI a foot massage isn't slapping the legs). I am new to the Woodburn area and if I would of known of another place I would of left after the rude gentleman. Yall shouldn't advertise that you accept walk ins and then treat them like a disease. read more

I called ahead to make sure they had room, they told me to come & then I waited an hour. The male who put Acrylics on me, terrible job, seriously do not let him do your nails you will only have to pay more at another place to have them fixed & he charged me $15 more than advertised, he didnt even polish them! They only part that was worth it was the pedicure. The lady did a fantastic job and she was really nice. read more
