Nice and cozy place with very kind and polite staff. I recommend this place with confidence when visiting Paris and looking for a good and tasty French food, but not forget the desserts which must be tasted.

We are from the NY/NJ area (just as a food reference/expectation) and I was a little nervous because there were only 10 (really great) reviews, but I'm so glad we went! We had the escargot and ham & egg as appetizers-the beef, duck and lamb for our main entree and the chocolate mousse and lemon tart for dessert and...wow! Everything was delicious and our waitress was so sweet and friendly. This restaurant is a gem and really worth having a meal here.

My husband and I went here on our last night in Paris, at the recommendation of our concierge. We were looking for something that 1) wouldn't be booked out same day, 2) would be around €30-40pp including drinks, 3) was walking distance from our hotel, and 4) was casual yet nice enough to dress up for if we felt like it. Our concierge immediately thought of this place and told us about it as if it were his own secret. It was obvious that he personally loved it. An hour later, we walked in and were already excited. The ambiance was perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. It's cozy & hip, rustic & modern all in one. The service was warm, friendly and personal; we ordered a "pot" of wine, one set meal (le menu carte), and one plat total, all to share... which I think is perfect portion-wise for two people. Y'all. I am completely shocked that no one has reviewed the food/dinner here (see Google for more reviews). It was INCREDIBLE. Truly some of the best food we've ever had. For our entree (appetizer) we ordered the veal's head with escargots. Mind-blowing. Left me speechless. Our main courses were the lamb shoulder confit and the semi-cooked sirloin. Again, both were delicious and truly exceptional. The only thing not over-the-top-incredible was, funny enough, the dessert--though still very good, the cheesecake with rice/speculoos crust wasn't something I would pick again. We both left so happy and saying to each other that we would 100% return the next time we come to Paris... and probably order the exact same things . That's how you know it's good, people.

The food is absolutely amazing!! Lamb rack and sailers beef are awesome!! Wines recommended by the waitress are perfect for the food. Snails are pretty good too!

Food is good, we had a simple lunch there, but found only a few choices. The desserts look delicious but sadly I had already had too much to eat.

Duck risotto was delicious Good service Great atmosphere A highlight of my trip

Came across Les Artizans while walking the streets of Paris, saw a bunch of sweets and Macaroons in the window display so i had to stop by. The macaroons and desserts were amazing. For the first time ever i had coconut macaroons and it was delicious. If you go visit Paris i recommend stopping at this place and try their desserts. The window display will get your attention, trust me! Because it totally caught mine.

    Duck breast on risotto

This is by far the best bistro I've been to in Paris. The menu is accompanied with English translation, and our server is really nice and patient. Food: Amazing! My friend's beef chuck is perfectly cooked, and the mashed potato has a great texture of purée on the side. Every ingredient blends in and makes this dish taste magical. Also, our server brought over all the deserts that we could choose from at the end which was really cool.

Les Artizans is a fun spot to have dinner. The service was the best I have had in Paris so far. They had a three course meal which allowed my wife and I to explore some different meals. I got the duck main dish, and my wife got the redfish. The duck was some of the best I have had, and the tomatoes in the dish were delicious. My wife wishes the redfish had a bit more seasoning but it was good nonetheless. The desserts we chose from a wide variety of different baked goods they brought to our table. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area

There was a line at the door, but it moved fairly quickly. Once inside, you're in a beautiful Beaux-Arts salon. Service generally is very good. The Chocolat Chaud is superb. There are other savories and sweets on the menu here. This time we tried a Mont-Blanc (3/5). I know this is Angelina's signature pastry, but to me it couldn't compete with the Chocolat Chaud.

Angelina, Paris, France -- April 12…read more Our family of four with kids ages 9 and 10 stopped here for lunch after visiting the Louvre, drawn in by its reputation for having the best hot chocolate in the world. We were looking for a place to relax and refuel, and the experience felt a bit mixed overall. Arrival and First Impressions The space is elegant with classic Parisian charm. The line moved quickly, and we were seated with a great view of the dining room. It felt refined but still comfortable. The Highlights The famous hot chocolate lived up to expectations, thick, rich, and almost more like a dessert than a drink. We also had French onion soup and an éclair, both of which were very good. The pastries were clearly well made and thoughtfully prepared. The kids had chicken tenders, which they enjoyed, even though the tomato sauce was a bit different from what they expected. The Challenges The biggest drawback was the price. The meal felt expensive for what we ordered, coming in at €154 for a fairly simple lunch. Service felt slightly rushed as they moved tables along quickly. Final Thoughts We would likely return if we were nearby and specifically craving the hot chocolate again. It is a classic Paris stop and worth trying once, but the value may not justify going out of your way unless that signature experience is high on your list.

They are constantly pulling small parties (1-4) out of line to seat them quicker depending on the space available. We were lucky to get the sweetest waiter he was the kindest one we've had in the city during our entire trip! Unfortunately I did not get his name. Although while washing my hands inside one of the waitresses did come beside me and basically shoved me out of my way to place a serving tray on the sink in front of me??? Food is nothing to write home about but just aesthetically pleasing. I traveled with my 3 nieces who said the hot chocolate was too sweet and they're kids! To each their own, I still think everyone should give it a shot:) Beware if bees are one of your fears or if you're allergic and you sit outside they will be swarming all of the sweet food on the table, but don't be so afraid because they do not sting they only want your food.

I got a few pastries and it was still early enough that they were still warm! The Croissant was probably the best I had on this trip. It helped that the Croissant was fresh and warm, but it was also crispy on the outside and buttery & flaky on the inside. The Pain au Chocolat was also great but it could have used more chocolate for my liking. The Chausson aux Pommes was sweet, slightly acidic from the apples, and definitely heavier of the pastries. I've also never had fresh madeleines before and knew this would be the place to try them. The Madeleine Glacée were buttery and lightly sweet; these actually go so well with a cup of coffee or just a bite if you need a quick snack. All in all, great try!

Since it was a warm summer afternoon, I went for the Chocolat Glacé, their iced chocolate, which was a refreshing choice after walking around the neighborhood. We were too full to try any of the pastries, but the display was beautiful and made it very tempting to come back. In addition to their signature hot chocolate, they also offer a wonderful selection of French pastries, macarons, croissants, crêpes, and other sweet treats. One thing that's helpful to know before visiting is that the Montmartre branch is a takeaway pastry boutique rather than a full-service café or restaurant. Before arriving, I had imagined it would be more of a traditional Parisian tea salon with table service, but this location is designed for grabbing a drink or pastry to enjoy while exploring Place du Tertre. Knowing that beforehand helps set the right expectations. The staff member who assisted us at the counter was friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant stop. The location itself is part of the experience. Right in the heart of Place du Tertre, surrounded by artists and the charm of Montmartre, it's an easy place to pop into for a sweet break while sightseeing. If you're visiting during the warmer months, I'd definitely recommend the iced chocolate. And if you have a bigger appetite than we did, the pastry selection looked impressive enough to make me want to return just for dessert.
