I felt comfortable ordering what I actually wanted. We chose a booth in the corner and got to work looking over the menu. Sometimes I worry about asking a lot of questions of the server, but I didn't need to worry at all here. Jenna told the server I was vegetarian and from then on she would tell me which things I could have or could be made to order vegetarian. They have a combo dinner plate that I was allowed to make substitutions on since there were no meatless options for the combo plate on the menu. Some places don't let you do this. I ordered the vegetable medley with tofu added, veggie chow mein as the side, plus egg roll, and a cup of wonton soup without the wontons. It's a bit different but also very similiar to a Chinese bao. The Momo has much thiner skin and the filling tasted slightly different from a plain meat bao. To me, it feels kinda like a larger version of a soup dumpling without the pool of the broth inside.
