Gluten free sweet and sour chicken and fried rice

Our go to place for Chinese food. And if you're gluten free don't sleep on this place. The owners are amazing and can accommodate most items made gluten free.

Such a fantastic locally owned restaurant. Their Hong Kong style chow mein is delicious along with their MuShu. Extremely nice family that owns this place..

Egg drop soup w/ lunch special

So glad I tried the Mandarin chicken. It's really good. I got the lunch special, which came with egg drop soup. The Mandarin chicken is battered chicken pieces covered in a sauce that reminds me of sweet and sour sauce. The chicken was hot and crispy and the fried rice that came with it was also delicious (had pieces of Asian sausages and BBQ pork, which I love). The service is great too. Most of the seats are booth seating and the lady who took my order came back several times to check that I have enough water and that everything was good. Thank you!

Lunch Special - Spicy crispy chicken, chow mein, and fried rice!

First time visiting Loomis Chinese Restaurant and I was overly impressed with the customer service and food quality. Some of the most delicious crispy chicken, fried rice and chow mein I have had in years. Also, the soup that came with my lunch special was incredible! I've been searching high and low for good, flavorful Chinese and finally found my new favorite spot! Fair prices and a comfortable atmosphere. Will be returning and recommending to friends and family! A+!!!

We just love Loomis Chinese. Loomis Chinese has always been a comfort food for us. Service is always great. A welcoming peaceful environment. Food is amazing.

Idk I really like it. I usually order chow mein but I've gotten some appetizers like spring rolls or egg rolls and it's super good.

Loomis Chinese is a true local treasure, and their walnut shrimp is the best you'll find in the area. The shrimp are perfectly crispy yet tender, coated in a luscious, slightly sweet sauce, and paired with candied walnuts that add just the right crunch--every bite is perfection. Beyond the amazing food, the service here is impressively quick, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The restaurant has a warm, homey vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable, like you've stepped into a welcoming neighborhood favorite. If you're looking for incredible Chinese food then you are in the right place.

I was working in Loomis when I was craving Chinese food. This place definitely hit the spot. Wasn't busy with dine ins but that door stayed swinging open with to go orders. I got the lunch special and it was well worth it. Big servings. You could definitely split it with someone else. Slightly over salted but nothing too crazy. Food tasted good. Lots of protein and veggies to go with it. Staff were friendly, greeted you as soon as you walked in. I don't know if there's any other Chinese spots in loomis but this one for sure was good

Good here tastes great and they give you big portions. Will come back to try more dishes. Looking forward to trying their tomato beef chow mein. Prices are very reasonable. Lots if local people recommended them so I had to try. Glad I did!

But that was a good thing because it was Ice Cold and Refreshing. We then ordered our food and I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork with Chicken Fried Rice, and my wife ordered the same entree but with Chicken Chow Mein. The food came out several minutes later and it was hot, and also delicious. So far this is a win for my book because not only was the food good but the friendliness of the staff was also delightful to work with as well. Normally, I hit up Yue Huang, but lately it's been giving "long wait, mild heartbreak." So I decided to branch out and found this hidden gem in Granite Bay...and let me tell you...BEST decision. You walk in and BAM!!!! Old school Chinese restaurant vibes. Red booths, classic decor, slightly run down in that "if these walls could talk, they'd recommend everything on the menu" kind of way. And if you know, you KNOW...that's when the food is about to slap. We came with a mission (aka hungry and slightly unhinged) and ordered: baked BBQ pork buns, shumai, har gow, shrimp rice rolls, pineapple baked custard buns, fried shrimp balls, and soup dumplings. Basically, if it could be steamed, fried, or stuffed...we said yes. It's clearly family run, which I love. Mom is running the show like a boss, kids are hustling, and since it was Mother's Day...CHAOS. Delicious chaos. Food flying out, servers holding trays of dumplings like treasures, stopping at your table and you're like "YES, THIS IS MY MOMENT"...and then they walk away to another table. Emotional rollercoaster. So many "Ooooh yay!" followed by "Ohhh man..." But honestly? It just built the suspense. Then OUR food arrived...and our eyes went WIDE. These dumplings are HUGE. Like, "one bite? absolutely not" huge. The BBQ pork buns were soft, fluffy, slightly sweet clouds of happiness. Har gow and shrimp rice rolls were perfectly steamed (no soggy sadness here ). Now, because it was busy, the shrimp had a bit of a split personality...some bites were perfectly snappy and delicious, others were just a little overcooked. Not tragic, just not living their absolute best life. But overall? Everything was GOOD. And then the check came...about $60 for ALL that food. I almost checked it twice like, "Ma'am...are you sure you charged me correctly?" Because that is a STEAL. What really got me though was the family. You could see the hustle, the stress, the love...all happening in real time. Even in the chaos, they were kind, smiling, and apologizing for the wait. That kind of heart hits different. Final verdict: great food, great value, and a whole lot of love. I'll definitely be back to try more of their main dishes. Until next dumpling craving...

Plenty of Chinese food options from calms , oysters, fried fish , beef broccoli, honey walnut shrimp, basically if panda express has it you can get it here. Most of the Asian food is mediocre as I would still choose panda express if I had the option. Service is friendly, definitely a more upscale looking Asian buffet than most I have been to. When we brought it up, the server explained they were transitioning between lunch and dinner and offered for us to wait while they replaced the food. I appreciate the offer, but that doesn't excuse having a buffet--especially with seafood, poultry, and meat--sitting out cold. That's not just unappetizing, it raises serious health concerns.
