The space is filled with thoughtful details, eye-catching pictures, and has such a relaxing vibe that it's perfect for unwinding or catching up with friends. The service was top tier. The staff was welcoming, patient, and conversational, which made my first visit here even better. I ordered their cold brew coffee with oat milk and two shots of vanilla. It had great flavor and the perfect caffeine kick. Based on their recommendation, I also tried the coffee crumb cake, and wow. It was fresh, moist, buttery, with the perfect touch of cinnamon. Honestly one of the best I've had. Parking can be a little tricky when it's busy, but it's absolutely worth it for the experience. I would highly recommend Humbled Coffee House to anyone and will definitely be back, especially for that crumb cake.

The space itself is clean and comfortable. It does lean a bit darker inside, but that seems to be part of the aesthetic they are going for. It gives the place a relaxed coffee shop vibe that works well if you want to sit, unwind, or get some work done. The coffee is solid. It is good, just not the best I have had. Still enjoyable and worth grabbing if you are stopping in. Their snack selection is where they shine a bit more. When the pastries are fresh they are really good. I have tried a few items like the banana loaf and lemon loaf and they have both been tasty and satisfying with a cup of coffee. Overall this is a great place if you are looking for a clean, generally quiet, and relaxing spot to enjoy a coffee and a sweet treat. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Modern Love roasts their own beans. I bought a house blend and another bag of beans. I also had a Black Cold Brew and it was definitely well above average and balanced for a coffee shop cold brew. The shop is nice. Service was reasonably efficient. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing on Sunday during Memorial Day weekend, which seemed to make the one person working somewhat anxious because she presumably wanted to get her weekend going. I obviously get that, but she could have been a touch less obvious about it as her 5 minute warning was a bit intense. In any event, I would definitely return. 4.25 Stars

Inside, the café is clean, inviting, and has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a coffee or catching up with a friend. I ordered a large cold brew with vanilla syrup, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. Smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. I would absolutely order it again. For food, I tried the Breakfast Burrito, although it's really closer to a Crunchwrap than a traditional burrito. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, tater tots, and lima crema. On paper, it sounded like a home run. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to the description. It ended up being extremely greasy, mushy, and surprisingly lacking flavor despite having so many ingredients. I kept expecting each bite to get better, but it never really did. It was one of those dishes that had a lot of potential but just missed the mark. My cold brew and breakfast came to $23.84 with tax, which felt a little expensive for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee because it was excellent. As for the food, I'd probably try something different next time. If the kitchen can match the quality of the coffee, this place could be a real standout.

My partner grabbed an iced coffee from the "fast lane" set up for the event, and I ordered a matcha latte. Unfortunately, mine was watered down and lacking any real flavor. The payment process was quick and the service was efficient, but overall the drinks were just okay.

The Atmosphere The location here is stunning. It's a beautiful, open space with massive windows that let in a ton of natural light. Inside, there's a good mix of seating--from a cozy sofa to standard tables and chairs. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating in the courtyard is the place to be; it's a perfect environment for chatting with friends or focusing on a laptop. The Drinks In my opinion, the quality of the beverages here is a step above Dunkin' or Starbucks. Yes, the price point is a bit higher, but you truly taste the difference. My go-to order is the iced Fall Oat Boy with honey--it's consistently delicious. I also appreciate that they have plenty of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. The Food & Parking The one area that consistently misses the mark for me is the hot sandwiches. I've tried several, including the Deluxe (turkey sausage and egg on a croissant) and the Vegan Deluxe. While the menu pictures look great, reality is something much different. The heating method they use is a letdown. Instead of a light, flaky, crispy croissant, the sandwiches consistently come out soggy and wet, which is a bummer. Pro-tip: Just a heads up that parking in this area can get pretty tight, so give yourself an extra minute to find a spot!

The space itself is beautiful--very minimal with white floors, high vaulted ceilings, and a really open feel. They have a retail wall on the left with some gorgeous ceremonial tea sets imported from Japan that I spent way too much time looking at. As for the drinks, you can tell they aren't cutting corners. They use ceremonial grade matcha from the Mizoguchi family (who apparently have 400 years of history in Kumamoto), and everything is organic. I tried two different vibes: * Golden Hour: This was a standout. It's a mix of coconut, turmeric, ginger, and some warming spices like nutmeg and cardamom. It had a nice little kick from the peppercorn. * Kokuta Hojita Latte: I got this with almond milk. The Japanese black sugar gives it a really deep, toasted sweetness that isn't cloying. The staff was super friendly and nailed the order. Also, side note: they have a modern touchless POS system, which made paying quick and easy. My only gripe--and it has nothing to do with the shop itself--was the seating. It's pretty limited to begin with (a sofa, some small tables, and one Japanese Ceremonial Table). Unfortunately, the "Zen" vibe was a bit ruined by someone hogging the entire ceremonial table with her laptop and books while other people were literally standing around waiting for a spot. Definitely not very zen behavior! Overall, it's a cool spot for a high-quality matcha fix. Just maybe don't expect to lounge for hours if it's busy.
