    Lobster Roll

ChatGPT told me to order the lobster roll even though I was leaning towards tacos. So glad I listened to the alien! Maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had or at least one of them. Fabulous ! Also got some ice cream - chocolate raspberry mousse and a pup cup.

Great lunch stop! Stopped here with a group after visiting Weir Farm National Historical Park. Tables on patio outside. Order at the counter, they call you when ready. I had the Baja tacos: fried cod, guacamole, cilantro, slaw and lime. Delightful. Others had yummy ice cream for dessert but I had no room.

Two words - lobster. rolls. Heibeck's is awesome - it's right on the side of the road with lots of lunch/dinner options and also ice cream. It's the perfect local neighborhood food stand with great food. I got the lobster roll which was warm and buttery - everything you want in a lobster roll and luckily it wasn't huge, just the right size. I also got a side salad and 4 of us split some clam strips. Everything was super tasty! We sat outside in the back which was cute - lots of tables with umbrellas. It was definitely a popular spot and it can take a while for food to come out, so be patient. They also had tons of ice cream options, though the friends we were visiting said there are better ice cream spots in town. It sounds like most come for the lobster rolls.

Small food stand with a shaded patio and picnic tables that has been open since 1921, and is still under the same ownership! You order your food at the counter and then get your food delivered to you in the side/back of the place. They both call out your name and text you when your food is ready In addition to classic burger and hotdog options, they also have a ton of unique varieties of burgers and dogs that come with with exotic home-made sauces. Additionally, there are a bunch of different tacos and seafood (think lobster roll) options as well The burger patties are 1/4 pound each, and you can choose between either 1, 2, or 3 patties in your burger They also have 16+ ice cream flavors (with ice cream fro Bliss), and a ton of different milkshake varieties I came here for lunch and got the milkshake, burger, & fries combo -The burger and fries were all very fresh and tasty. The highlight was a very fresh and tasty bun that they used for the burger -The milkshake was also pretty good, but they oddly served it in a clear cup made for some other type of drink (such as bubble tea) along with a pointed straw (also meant for a different type of drink such as bubble tea) 8.5

Since 1931, this "Stand" is a local institution. Hasn't changed much in 90 years: still selling hot dogs, burgers, lobster rolls, ice cream, etc. best know for its ice cream and lobster rolls, based on an informal survey of the line in front of me and behind me. Nice to see a family run business true to its roots and proud of its history. I went with the lobster roll and some French fries. Both were excellent. Would I go back? YES. need to try one of the hot dogs, especially the Heibeck Special!

Came here for the lobster roll, which was great, but on the fly ordered a milkshake. Well, I'll be! The cookie monster milkshake is wickedly incredible - packed with cookies and ice cream and the best milkshake I've had. i'd drive a half-hour just for that. 5 stars!!!!!

A fabulous summer stand right on Route 7 in Georgetown CT with a wide array of food and ice cream. Famously here for many years it is a landmark. I had the Baja tacos - 3 tacos with fresh and crispy cod on a bed of greens, avocado, and lime that were delicious. A Friend had onion rings and crispy chicken sandwich that was enjoyed greatly. Even more famous for the ice cream!

This place has great food. i am a travel nurse from Texas and love vegan/vegetarian dishes. I had the beet tacos and falafel and they were delicious! I will definitely go back for more! Great fast service and outdoor eating area.

What a great mom and pop place to go to. Great ice cream burgers and dogs. It's a must stop when you're on the western part of the state. I'm glad I went the burger was gooey and dripping with goodness.

Yummy HQ take out shack on side of route 7. The lobster rolls and fries are consistently good with a decent amount of meat for the price and the ice cream/shakes are amazing. Kind of confusing when ordering and picking up, but you can order online and skip the hassle of figuring out which door/side of building your food will come out of.

The story goes Martha Stewart pulled up so she could try a couple of the garnishes, liked what she tasted and invited Owner Mike to participate in a hot dog segment of her show. Today, Chez Lenard has a decades old cart on Main Street and two additional carts for catering or events. I ordered Le Hot Dog Choucroute Alsacienne (which has sauerkraut and a high quality Dijon Mustard) and Le Hot Dog Epicie Garniture Suisse (which boasts a traditional cheese fondue and a horseradish sauce). After a bit of research, these seemed like the most classic Chez Lenard toppings. The toppings were all very tasty. Chez Lenard uses Hebrew National dogs which are ready in a steam bath when you order. Among the best known and loved CTSpots, this is probably my least favorite combo of dog selection and cooking technique. There's no snap and it has one of the softer textures you'll find. I understand that one of the movable carts has a grill. The buns are Martin's potato rolls, which are fine. Chez Lenard enjoys an important history in Ridgefield. They've been a source of jobs for young adults. A lot of people have been going there for a long time because downtown Ridgefield is a cool place to visit. Somebody who lives closer to Ridgefield might give it a bit of a bump because it's been an important pat of their lives. Being a visitor, I can only go by the dog. 4.5 Stars for the toppings. 3.5 Stars for the dog itself. 4 Stars overall

I tried the Le hot dog Execelsior Veneziano ( onions and peppers with cheese) and Le hot dog facione Mexicaine (with beef chili) they were both well prepared and delicious. My husband decided to try this place, as he loves hot dogs despite my warnings about food additives and blah blah. Well, this is a different kind of hot dog! What a delight to cozy up to the kitchen and talk with the Celebrated Chef-Owner Gary & his Team; also to connect with "The Regulars", who adore this unique place! Nothing to run for though. I got the Dixie dog $7 which was underwhelming the chili was mid at best and the slaw wasn't even average. The Hot dog had no bite despite being cooked on a griddle. The highlight was the Rhode Island clam chowder and it wasn't the greatest. Plenty of clams but very chewy. The broth was flavored but not exactly the best. This place used to be on Guy's Diner drive in and dives but it has fallen from those standards. Staff seem to have changed as well since those days. The cashier was amazing but that's were the amazement ends. Went in around 3 o'clock, food came out fast. A plus, but let down in quality. Guess some places can't hold the standards they started with.
