Butter pecan

No samples due to covid. Surprised to hear this - as all the places start to open and relax covid restrictions they're still hiding behind the curtain not providing samples. A lot of times I've seen kids enjoy tasting a few samples before they pick a flavor. Probably a reason why they'd want to go to an ice cream shop versus buying a readymade ice cream from a grocery's store. Otherwise, the have parking a beautiful sit out and an amazing ice cream

This place is a hidden gem. Ice cream is delicious and so fresh. Love the flavor selection, price, and atmosphere. Great place for the little ones and kids at heart.

Straciatella Gelato w/choco crunchies. Looks good but tasted stale

Don't do it! My Gelato was weird tasting and definitely old. It had that stale refrigerator odor/taste. Too bad because it is a cute and comfy place.

Great hidden gem! Very good homemade ice cream in a super cute old school building. Be prepared to wait on hot days but it's definitely worth it!

We were exploring the Shippan neighborhood and ran across this place. It was completely deserted at the time we stopped by, being the middle of the winter and with a lot of snow on the ground. Even so, this was a great discovery! They had a banner up advertizing eggnog ice cream, so we had to go in and give it a try. We both got single cones of it, and it was pretty fantastic. They have a pretty extensive menu -- hard and soft serve ice cream, a number of other desserts such as shakes, sundaes and blizzard type concoctions, and they also have a gelato counter with a nice selection. They also sell ice cream cakes and packed pints and quarts to go. Overall, really nice quality on their hard ice cream, and nice service. I'm sure we'll be here again!

The over fudge scooped out of my boyfriend's sundae. Gross.

This is where you go when you're too lazy to drive to Friendly's in Norwalk or Dairy Queen (we live close to downtown but Alive at Five was in full swing at the time). The first girl was nice, but the one who took me and my boyfriend's order wasn't as friendly. I got the moose track ice cream, which was pretty good flavor wise but could've been churned a little more. However, my boyfriend's sundae was a disaster. He asked for a typical sundae, minus the banana. We saw our server pumping hot fudge a few times into the ice cream but we didn't realize just how much until she brought it over. She went overkill on the fudge. So much that my boyfriend just couldn't it eat anymore. It looked disgusting. It turned the vanilla into chocolate!! That just goes to show how much fudge it had. He dumped most of it in the parking lot!! I don't think I'll ever come here again. I'd rather risk running into the crowd at Alive at Five.

Possibly the best quality/tasting soft-serve ice cream in Stamford. Gofer Ice Cream is a close second.

Wouldn't let my 4 year-old use the employee only bathroom. It was an emergency and they stuck to policy. Real nice.

"Y'all know me, still the same OG But I been low-key"…read more(Dr. Dre) The name says it all. Oggi means today in Italian, and their gelato really does taste ike it was freshly churned and made just for us. Our positive impression of Oggi started when we first stepped inside their store, because the store is gorgeous with bright colorful flavor boards, cute and easy to read ordering instructions, a beige and black interior design scheme that gave off techno/industrial vibes, and a bright red Vespa on the floor to greet you. Their website proudly proclaims that "We craft only true artisanal gelato, free from preservatives, colorings, and hydrogenated fats." Cups or cones will cost $7, $9, or $10.75 for 1, 2, or 3 scoops. Higher end options include a brioche or a waffle with your gelato. We had a single scoop of their Stracciatella (Chocolate flakes in vanilla gelato) - one as a cone and one as a dish/ Each came with a cute little round, golden cookie branded with the word "oggi". That gave our gelato a nice added crunch to contrast eith the creamy gelato. We both thought their gelato was great, some of the best we've ever had. PRO TIPS There are three Oggis in Fairfield County -Fairfield, Norwalk, and Trumbull. They also sell slices of, or whole cakes and have an Espresso bar

Went there on a beautiful day, a perfect day for ice cream. Going in here is a huge hike for us being that we live 40 miles away. It's always a highlight to go, and we always order large cups when we go. Keep in mind this place is not a bargain, you generally get what you pay for and this place has always been worth it except for this trip. And with all my excitement, I neglected to see how much gelato was left for one of the flavors I ordered, and it was the bottom of the barrel-instead of the young gentleman talking me out of the flavor, he gingerly scraped up with all his might whatever was left in the bottom, then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a flavor that was similar to it... Shame on me I said no, and he proceeded to give me the other flavor I had asked for which is a chocolate brownie. As he scooped, I said you know what give me some of the cappuccino please-he huffed and puffed and arrogantly told me he could no longer do it... Why? You've only done a couple scoops of chocolate what's the big deal. Asking him a question it was like I was asking him a life ending favor. He then huffed as he took my husband's order. As we both ate our ice creams we were very mystified that it was lacking the flavors that it once had. True, we both had tried new flavors that we never had before, but it didn't have the same texture and it was overly sweet. Secondly, my husband got their waffle cone. Now let's talk about how the boy neglectfully scooped that waffle cone... He didn't put any ice cream in the cone only slapped a ball on top - that was it. The ice creams came out to $16 and honestly the waffle cone was flavorless! My husband wound up throwing it away as it probably was one of the worst waffle clones he's ever had. Maybe we need a break but we definitely need a break from that young gentleman who took our order... He needs a little polish refresher course on how to be a little more cordial and Little accommodating. Thank God for the tip cup! As for the parking, it's hell, absolutely satanic but that is not reflective of the rating. You are at the mercy of street parking and not easy to find.

The portions are huge. I got a medium cup (up to 3 flavors) for just $5.50!! I came toward the end of the day, so they were out of their tiramisu flavor, but I ended up with guava cheesecake, pistachio, and Oreo--all of which were still delicious. I'll definitely be back to try the tiramisu gelato and their mangonada. Pistachio - One of their most popular flavors, and for good reason. You can taste the real pistachio--no artificial flavor at all. Light, airy, and not overly sweet. I just wish the pistachio flavor was a touch stronger. Guava Cheesecake - My favorite of the day! Tastes exactly like it sounds--sweet guava paired with creamy cheesecake. Reminds me of Porto's Bakery's guava cheese roll. Oreo - Classic Oreo flavor--exactly what you'd expect. Not mind-blowing, but still tasty. Their gelato overall is so airy and fluffy, without the heavy feeling of regular ice cream. Can't wait to come back!

It had loads of charm and offered amble seating. But, the true highlight was the breadth of unique gelato flavors that were on display in their large counters. Some of the more creative varieties that evening were Greek Yogurt with Figs, Roche Chocolate Hazelnut, and Kinder Bueno. I typically need to steer clear of dairy, so I was eager to see what they had in terms of vegan options. Unfortunately, on that evening, the only creamy, non-dairy flavor was Strawberry, which I sampled and found artificial tasting. So, I was then left with only sorbet options of lemon, passionfruit, raspberry, and mango. Sorbet can often be too sweet or too icy in texture, so I was bummed, but I really wanted to get something. I settled on a small cup, which was absurdly expensive at $9, but still allowed me the opportunity to try two flavors. I went with the passionfruit and the raspberry, and I have to say, that both were fantastic! They offered really ripe flavor, while also tasting clean, not artificial, and not super sugary. I was very impressed. I also tried the smallest tastes of the Blueberry Cream, Banana Pudding, and Coffee scoops from family members and had similar sentiments that they were very natural tasting. In fact, the Banana Pudding tasted more like a mashed, frozen banana than a sugar-laden pudding. Bianco Nero certainly delivered on the claims from their website about their creative flavors, their top-tier ingredients, and their playful presentation within their display case and on their fun sprinkle-bedazzled cones. There site also mentioned the shop being a real destination, and I agree that it was a true foodie experience worth the visit.
