I'm a plus size girl and to be honest, I was dreading the dress trying on process. Everywhere we look it's of much thinner girls so I was totally psyched. I was nervous and kind of overwhelmed on what would actually look good. It so happens to be a chance that an appointment opened up on a Saturday I was available and the individuals that went with me were all available too! I went in without expecting a lot but came out feeling special and WITH A DRESS! The whole process was amazingly wonderful. Kylie was my first POC and she was so kind and warming from our discussions on the phone to our first in person encounter and to walking our dress out the door. We had Hope as our host and she listened to what I liked and didn't like, concerns, and was able to get me into the right dress. The place is super clean. Super polished and beautifully designed. Loved that we had our own private room too. Even my soon to be in laws were surprised that we had a designated room and it wasn't an up-charge (having gone through 3-4 weddings themselves already). I went to Leora Bridal a few weeks back to try on wedding dresses for the very first time and it was the BEST!! I felt so comfortable with my stylist Daniele. In between changing out of gowns she would quietly ask how **I** really felt about the dress, not just what my mom and bridal party thought. On top of feeling so comfortable, myself and my bridal party felt spoiled by the staff! Champagne, sparkling cider, cookies, and music in our own private suite. Even though my appointment was on the same day as their bridal expo and it was very busy, we never felt rushed or unimportant. Truly wonderful service from all the girls in the shop! The gown selection was perfect (not thousands of dresses to where you would get overwhelmed) and the price range was average for designer gowns (shops in Richmond can range up to $6,000 but Leora's we're all under ~$3,500). The communication with the staff before AND after my appointment was incredible. It's very evident that these ladies love their jobs and the experience they are able to give to future brides. Hi! I want to give this bridal boutique more than 5 stars. During my first appointment, they were incredibly helpful while I picked out my wedding dress. They stayed within my budget and listened to what I loved and didn't love, while also helping me try different jewelry and veils. It was the best first bridal shopping experience I could have asked for! I also want to give a special shoutout to Madison, who made me feel beautiful even tho the dresses were sample sizes. They even provided us with a food tray! At my most recent appointment, Kylie did an amazing job helping me get my dress and veil situated. This was a wonderful experience. Kate was wonderful and super helpful. I had gone to another boutique & tried on some dresses in the style I liked but didn't like the way they looked on me at all. I went into this appointment thinking they were out of the question but when I tried some on it was a whole different perspective, they were gorgeous. It completely changed my mind & I think I found the dress I really want to be in. I have a lot of trouble making big decisions so I wanted to sleep on it. Needless to say I didn't sleep much thinking about the dress & I'm hoping it's still there this morning even though I was just there last night this boutique was so adorable and on a beautiful property that doubled as a wedding venue. I absolutely recommend Leora Bridal! This was the first and only bridal store I visited before I found my wedding dress! I was very nervous since it was my first one, but all of the staff were so personable and friendly and made it a really enjoyable experience. They treat my small entourage with champagne and made all of us comfortable, while my bridal consultant Gwen helped me focus on what I really liked from among all the choices and suggestions from others. Kylie (the owner) also greeted us personally. Lots of different styles to choose from for any bride, with a range of prices. The store is a beautiful, relaxing environment. This was my first time trying on dresses and the team made it so much fun! Leora bridal scheduled me while I was attending the 2022 January Wedding expo and I absolutely fell in love with them. They were so accommodating and attentive!
