I have been going to this family run jewelry store for years for several reasons. They do quality work at great prices. They do the work themselves, unlike many jewelry stores that send it out. They are fast, a ring resizing or stone setting can be done in 1 day, usually no longer than a few days. They have gorgeous jewelry. A ring setting I bought from them was not only a few thousand less than other stores, it's one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen outside of a magazine. They have genuinely nice and different jewelry in their showcases, not the same old stuff you see in mall jewelry stores. I have purchased from them, they've set stones for me, and resized rings for me. No other jeweler in this area below Richmond can compete with them. They are tucked away on the Boulevard in a tiny strip of stores , but they are worth the trip. read more

Many years ago I had worked with the owner an a well known Jewellers store, in midlothian. He and his family are honest and trustworthy! They went out of their way to do 2 major repairs that didn't cost very much one needed to be soldered, and the other one repaired and resized. Today when I picked up my rings they were in better condition than when I first bought these two rings. As far as I am concerned theses are the neatest Jewellers in the tri-cities area. Awesome place to get anything repair or even custom designs! The watch batteries here are so cheap, they charge about 5.50-6.00 per watch battery and about 8 dollars for the bigger size batteries. They usually change it in same day or even within minutes. Sizing your watch links down are 5 bucks only. read more

I went there years ago to have the backs on my diamond earrings changed. They were the screw on type and I needed the plain smooth studs. Well they changed them out fine... And even changed out the diamonds that were cloudy and terrible. Did they really think I wouldn't notice?? He ordered other diamonds to exchange them for, but my diamonds were VVS diamonds and he gave me SI1 diamonds to exchange them for. They got me once, they'll never get me again. Never leave your precious stones there... Watch them if you get repairs or resizing done. read more

I have gone to Expressions since moving to the area more than a decade ago. Recently I am finding that perhaps because I am such a frequent shopper that my sizing or repair work is getting shoved to the side and its taking months and not the days I was promised. The prices are ok, with online retailers they are starting to be about the same and with having to wait literally months for work, I'm just not sure if I will continue to shop there. I have found another small owner who has same prices and free sizing and its ready when promised. Makes me sad. read more

These guys were great! No one in the area would change over my fossil watch battery because it wasn't bought with then. These guys changed it over even reset the time for me and it was only $5.50! Seems like a family run place which is great! Also it looks like all the work is done in house. I'll have to check them out again when my engagement ring needs to be cleaned. read more

Unfortunately I can't leave a good review for this place. I dropped off my diamond ring to have a prong replaced. I was asked to leave my diamond wrap as well. Originally I was told the ring would be ready for pick up upon them opening the following day. I called to be sure it was ready prior to making the drive and was told he hadn't fixed it yet and they would pass on the message that I called. I waited a few hours and called again to check and was told it would be another hour or so, which was fine, I understand places get busy. When I arrived to pick up my rings, one of the good prongs were now bent. I asked them to fix it, which they did. Before leaving I checked everything to be sure it was to my liking. Upon looking at my wrap I noticed a diamond was missing!! My wrap was left solely to make sure everything fit together smoothly, it required no work at all yet a diamond was gone. They did replace it for me and I still paid for the prong work. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. The young lady who worked the front area and worked with the customers was not friendly AT ALL. Turn around time was ok (not as promised) and the work was cheap.. but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I will be finding another jeweler to replace the entire head on my ring as I do not trust the work will be done correctly by those at Expressions. read more
