Let me start this off by saying that I am not someone who writes a lot of reviews but I had such a…read morebad experience that I felt the need to warn any other brides from feeling as defeated in their bridal appointment as I did. My appointment was this past Saturday. My experience at this bridal store was horrible. When myself and my party entered, we were told to pull some dresses that we liked while we waited for my consultant. My consultant told my party to "calm down" with all the picking after they chose 3 dresses and never introduced herself to my family. My consultant at didn't seem like she was listening to any of my preferences. The situation seemed like she was choosing dresses that she liked. Throughout the appointment, she continued to pull dresses that were, over budget, the wrong material ( she kept pulling dresses with so much tulle) and overall not my style that we discussed. Every dress she pulled was either 6 sizes too large or 4 too small so I was unable to get an accurate depiction of what the dress was going to look like on myself. I am not a picky person but it truly was awful. Every critique I had about the dress, was followed by her saying that it could be fixed with a strap or removal of beads, or a completley changing the structure of the dress or some other very expensive alteration. While I did appreciate her trying to fix the problem, she never differentiated from the style of dress that she pulled ( that were huge, heavy and had about 15 layers of tulle). My consultant never helped me by adjusting any of the dresses, ( she also never helped me put any of them on either). She never helped fluff the train or hold it so I could walk. My future mother in law had me attempt to tuck the material between my legs to see what the dress could look like on her knees. Her reaction to my family having to help was was very aloof. She also didn't seem like she had a very good knowledge of the inventory of the store. She would leave me on the stage in a dress that was very uncomfortable for several minutes while looking for "just the dress" and return with the exact same style that i had told her I didn't want. I stated what I wanted several times to her. I didn't even leave the dressing room to show my party a few of the dresses and she would argue with me. The last and perhaps the largest issue I had was that all of the dresses either myself or my guests chose were continuously intentionally placed to the back of the rack to try on by her. When my mother and cousin moved them to the front, she moved them to the back again and seemed annoyed. When my mom asked " can we please see her in this dress?" after about the 9th dress that I didn't like , my mom was ignored and was given a sour attitude. This was my second bridal appointment ever trying on a wedding dresses and I can tell you that if I hadn't had such a positive experience at the shop i had been to earlier in the day, I would have been in tears and this would have ruined the bridal dress experience. I'm writing this review based off my terrible experience in the hopes that the shop management will read it and make some major changes in how they treat their customers.

I was terrified and walked into my appointment already feeling defeated and like I would have to just settle for anything that fit. Sharon, the owner, worked with me directly. When I walked in, I was surprised to see that she had an entire rack filled with beautifully diverse dresses of all different shapes and styles that were in my size. I tried on many different dresses and she was so professional, compassionate and kind to me. She never once made me feel like I would have to settle for simplicity because of my size, instead she guaranteed me that we would work together until I found my dream dress, and she did just that. She treated me and my family with such respect, and made me feel so beautiful and special, and she even helped me come out of my shell and have a bit of fun! She threw accessories and creativity at me with each dress to show me that any of the dresses can be made even more unique with some fun additions. My dress is more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for, and I absolutely cannot wait to marry my best friend wearing it. I am beyond thankful and proud to now be a Tiffany's Bride!

Oksana did an absolutely impeccable job tailoring a formal gown to fit me like a glove. The dress…read morewas for a wedding that had been postponed for a year due to the pandemic, and when it was finally time to wear it the dress didn't fit. I was warned that a new dress would be cheaper, but I didn't want to risk it not arriving in time or the sizing still being not quite right. It was well worth the cost to have the dress fit perfectly. Oksana instantly saw the problems and got to work when I arrived at her shop. It took 45 minutes for her to pin everything in place, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and focus. In the end she had to hem it and take it in significantly at the waist and under the arms, which involved multiple layers of different fabrics, removal and reapplication lace appliques and an attached belt, and reshaping the entire top. She priced out each individual alteration so I knew exactly how much it would cost for each step. The turnaround time was very fast for how much work she had to do and how busy her shop is, and when I came back to try it on it was perfect. I received many compliments and plan on wearing it to future formal events.

I am trying to reach the…read morecorporate office with a complaint. I just got off the phone with the Regional/General Manager from K&G in Maryland. Nothing was resolved by the Regional/General Manager of the White Oak store. Just a bunch of hot blown air to the customer. He promised me something out of the store as a compensation for the hardship that I faced in his Richmond store and then when I asked him about it later he acted like he knew nothing. You, see, apparently he is not in Richmond but in Maryland. I see why the subordinate leadership in Richmond is just as bad as he is. K & G needs better leadership. I faced a very difficult time over the years dealing with the manager in the Richmond store. She is very rude and follows customers around the store and makes the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Because of this I have not been in the store lately because I am in fear of harassment. I hope that someone from the corporate office reaches out to me soon so I can fill you in on what was promised to me in compensation for the Richmond store management and employee behavior. I am truly dissatisfied to have been lied to by the Regional/General Manager. This review only shows a little bit of the problems with your Richmond store.

They seem to be a different kind of shop that makes strange ornate goods for your bedroom or living spaces, They had a desk and set up for interior design appointments (?) Set up in the back of the shop. I don't understand this place, It didn't seem to have anything to offer, and it isn't the kind of shop you'd go to to pick something out to wear or furniture to put in your home directly from the floor. I just don't get it.
