Leon Movers... probably the best team of guys I have every used! Took care of my things by wrapping furniture in shrink wrap and my home by putting up those moving blankets in my doorways and switch back staircase so not to scratch the walls. They secured all the furniture correctly in the truck, and wrapped all my delicate class table tops etc with blankets I gave them. They cared about my things, listened to me. I needed the things I was keeping on one storage unit, and the things I was selling in another one right next door. They carefully planned the packing and got it right, even placing more or my extra towels and blankets on the ground in the storage unit when items were placed on their sides for better packing. They always had a smile, even though it was 95 outside. They worked fast. A 3 bedroom house was shrink wrapped, bed frames taken apart and carried to the truck, secured in the truck, driven to a nearby storage unit, unloaded, packed efficiently in the storage unit in 5 - 6 hours. Leon Moving were WONDERFUL!! I'm incredibly grateful for their help during my move. They were easy and friendly to communicate with from my initial call throughout the entire process, and their rates are a little lower than other moving companies (so I could tip more)! They had everything they needed - padding for my glass table, wrapping for my mattress -- they even took my old mattress and disposed of it properly for me, which was something I wasn't sure how to deal with. The move was very quick and efficient, and I appreciated that they had big boxes to consolidate my last odds and ends. These guys saved me after another local company completely canceled on me the DAY OF MY MOVE. If it wasn't for them I honestly don't know what I would have done. They sent over a team of 3 guys less than 45 minutes after they were contacted and these guys HUSTLED and moved all of my items, even disassembling and reassembling several pieces of furniture, in UNDER TWO HOURS--and I was moving from a second floor apartment. They were polite, professional, courteous, and careful of my items (I am awful at packing). I honestly couldn't recommend a company more than Leon Moving. Great moving company! We would recommend them to anyone. They took great care of all of our belongings, and even moved some items that weren't packed very well that I had planned on moving myself. They wrapped the door jambs, covered the floor in the entry and wrapped all of our furniture before packing it in the truck. We had a lot of out stuff moved into the garage for storage and they did a great job even organizing the boxes so we can still walk through it and add more if needed. They even took empty boxes downstairs for me as I was unpacking while they were still moving furniture in. We will be moving again later this fall once our house is built and plan on hiring them again for the final move. read more

I sent many online requests for moving quotes and Leon was the only one who could pick up the phone and call me back. When moving, everything is super busy and I didn't have time to follow back up with everyone. Kim was great with information and when I was ready to book, Kim was right on it. The guys showed up a little early (with a phone call) and we began. With them having an hourly rate, I was a little concerned with them dragging their feet, but I was wrong! They moved and moved and never stopped. No damage was found and our job was done professionally and quickly. I hope not to move again, but if I do, I will definitely reach back out to Leon. I love these guys and I've used them five times. They moved my parents from Katy, Texas to Austin. They've moved pianos, they've moved stuff into an apartment, into storage and into a house with stairs. They are very careful and very helpful and I can't give enough praise such thoughtful people. Rome even carries new felt pads to place on the legs of furniture to protect wood floors. I still have one more move in front of me and I will call Leon moving again. They were perfect! Got a quick response on web request for quote, and it was easy to set up scheduling and review details over the phone. They showed up within the window, and even waited a bit while I got a hold of the person at the pickup side who hadn't arrived yet. They got everything unloaded quickly, no damage to anything. And, boy howdy, I was very impressed at their ability to squeeze a big heavy hutch down a narrow hall, around a sharp door, and into a corner of a crowded room, even dealing with a ceiling fan that was too low in there. Leon moving is absolutely the best moving company I have ever used. Last June they moved my 5,000 sq. ft. Home. No damage to anything. I have some valuable large antique pieces that are hard to move. They did a great job wrapping and padding everything. They had all the right dollies and equipment. So happy they did a great job at a great price. The crew that helped us were extremely efficient and friendly and did a great job for us. We had to consolidate storage facility space, pick up a washer/dryer set; bring most of the items back to our house and deliver the washer dryer set to our daughter's apartment.
