Total scam. Hidden fees; the only fee disclosed upfront was a $29.00 visit fee for the service provided on January 30, 2025 for a lockout. If I had known up front that the company would want over $400.00, I would have said "Thanks but no thanks." The "locksmith" who came was unable to get into my house without breaking the lock and then wanted over $400.00; we agreed on the amount of $396.00, which I paid with my VISA credit card. The "locksmith" was unable to rekey the lock to work with my existing key, so I had to pay a legitimate locksmith to replace the lock mechanism. This service and I agreed on February 5, 2025, that I would remove the dispute with my credit card company once the company refunded $208.00 of the amount charged ($396.00). I was told that I would get this refund in "three to five business days." The company texted me on Feb. 10: "OK. We will take care of it. I will send you [a] screenshot confirmation of the refund" of the $208.00 agreed upon. It is now February 28, and I am still getting stonewalled. This is a complete scam!!! read more

It's Saturday, and I locked myself out of my house. They had a tech over here within about 45 mins, which is reasonable. Turns out these are their weekend rates: $29 just to send someone out + $169 to unlock the door. o total $199. Can't remember what he said the week day rate is, but it was around $169 total. They charge the $29 week days and weekends, and no, you can't put it towards the cost of fixing the lock. Okay, so after he leaves, it turns out he broke the lock, and I'm locked into my house now. I call, and the tech returns within about five minutes. (Coincidentally, he was just down the street having installed a new lock on a neighbor's door, so that was quick!) Within about 15 minutes, he replaced the lock mechanism in the door with a brand new one, and the key and the lock now work as good as new. Happy ending. Had a short wait time but it was also 2 am. Called operator and was told someone would call me. Get a call from Alan, and he came just like he said. Only issue is that it shouldn't cost 200+ to open a car door. He told me the price depends on the car itself which seemed ludicrous BUT what did I know? He had trouble with the pressure pump tool and proceeded to use a wire hanger to unlock my car. After a few minutes, help from his girlfriend who accompanied him, and a wire hanger we got it open. None the less my car was unlocked however I would NEVER use this company again NOR will I recommend anyone to them. Literally call anyone else. Originally called their office asking for a locksmith to open my car. Technician soon called me after quoting a 1 hour wait. I asked him if there was anyone closer to my location, to which he said he'd call the front office. 10 min later, no one had called me back so I double checked with him and he confirmed he had called the front desk. Waited another 10 minutes, still no call back, so I called the front desk again asking status and it was like an entirely new call. This back and forth miscommunication occurred for another 45 min or so. Finally, after waiting outside in the dark for over 1.5 hours, someone came to open my car. I was charged $159 for the unlocking + $30 phone service fee. It was an absolutely horrible experience and I immediately bought AAA the moment I got home. He only gave me the cost of the new lock which was $129.00 and I agreed to the work. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our apartment. It was 2 am so our roommate was sleeping and didn't answer our calls. The locksmith arrived in probably 40 minutes. Which fine, no problem. It was late and we were thankful anyone could make it. However upon arrival the guy looked at our door and said "okay guys, I'm going to try to open it, probably without damage. But this one is going to cost $329". He opened the door in literally less than 2 minutes. $329 seems like absolute robbery. I understand it was 2 am, but $329 for less than 5 minutes of actual work. Locksmith quoted $149 over the phone. When he arrived, he played with my stick lock for a couple minutes and then said it would cost more. I was stuck because I had to get the lock cleared. He ended up charging me $185 for 10 minutes max of work. So I wonder how long he was willing to work for $149? 5 minutes? Total rip off. My doctor doesn't make that kind of money. UPATED REVIEW: Apparently I had a bad experience with a poor subcontractor. Leo personally contacted me to apologize and I appreciated the gesture. He seems like an amiable guy. ------- Had my car key stuck in my car door. First got connected to dispatcher. Got a call from one guy who said he'll call me back. Never did. Then got a call from another guy at 10:47am who quoted me $50 and up, and said he be here in 15-20min. Arrived 11:27pm. Took about 10mins jiggling & trying to yank it out after spraying some WD-40. Used a couple plyers & got the key out. Proceeded to charge me $140 for extraction (is this normal or a rip off? Seems like a rip off to me). I COULD HAVE YANKED IT OUT MYSELF IF THATS ALL IT TOOK. Furthermore, 1) Couldnt make a replacement key on the spot, 2) Couldn't replace the lock cylinder without first trying to find the part & coming back. There are other locksmiths much more professional than Leo's that I would recommend. read more

If I could rate my experience less than one star, I would! They pile on the charges so quickly, especially if you need them for an emergency. We were locked out of our home because our lock would not let the key turn. The lock was burning hot from being in direct sun. I told him that we just need to get in the house and the next thing I know the locksmith, Maksym, drilled a hole into my lock to let us inside. We had no other choice but to buy a brand new lock from them. $624 later we are in our home. However, the next day, we couldn't even open the front door to leave the house! I contacted them and showed them the issue and their solution was to come by the next day and charge AGAIN for an issue that was not there BEFORE he came and "fixed" the lock. It was the most unprofessional FaceTime call by the way - we didn't even see his face, just his leg. Now we can't even leave our house OR get in our house. I had a break in in which all of my keys were stolen. I can't contact Leo Locksmith directly so had to go through Google each time and be called back. Meanwhile I have many other calls to make because of the breakin. When the technician arrived I explained how my door knobs are double deadbolts. I don't think the kid they sent knew how to rekey them so he replaced them. After he left I saw what he had done and was livid. I went to put my old locks back and he had taken the bolts for both locks. I immediately called and told them to send the kid back with all my old parts or I would stop payment on the check. He came back saying it was an accident. I later found out my Weiserbolts are discontinued and in demand. No wonder my parts went missing. I will never use this locksmith again. I think he was from some sort of subcontractor Leo uses. I guess they'll "bond" anyone these days. read more
