Called several locksmiths found on Yelp, including TC Locksmith. I called the listed number and was told a technician would contact me with pricing. The technician called me pretty quickly. He honestly could have waited until he was out of the bathroom (I heard the toilet flush). He quoted me $250 and wanted to schedule an appointment. I told him I was waiting for other callbacks and would let him know. He sent me a text telling me he could do $150. Deal. He set an appt for 6pm that night but he did say they did not have the lock in stock so we're waiting for the part. I asked him to keep me updated. RUDE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHADY- DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!!! Its very suspicious in my opinion that they have 99% 5 stars on Google reviews ....perhaps purchased fake reviews ! There's absolutely no way!!!!! After being locked out of my apartment around midnight, I had called Tc Locksmith Inc, since it was mentioned by AAA. The male operator was shady and very difficult to understand, he even hung up on me after in a demanding tone yelling: " Will you use our services YES or NO!!??!".... what the heck? I was simply asking general pricing information, before hiring them to come out. Then a rude clown technician with a middle eastern accent called me back and he was even ruder, when i said i wanted to click over the other line, since i had another locksmith on hold that had given me a ball park price, after i texted him the picture of the lock, and I was simply doing due diligence to get the best price! This guy lost it! He absolutely refused to give me a ball park price, nor did he ask for a picture of the type of lock. He also hung up on me and was very aggressive and told to not bother them for service, since I had called another locksmith for an estimate??? Ripoff artists or so they thought - not today!!!! BYEE Then they sent me a text that said that they would not come out until the next day after 8am?? What a bunch of clowns. I called Mobile Lock and safe at 760-644-3362 and they were over in 20 minutes and a price had been established over the phone, since he had a picture of the lock type. Still currently waiting for a locksmith after being told that the locksmith was available and finishing a job over 5.5 hours ago. I still have not been contacted by the locksmith to give me an ETA after calling the dispatcher asking for that multiple times. Go somewhere else if possible. I requested a locksmith at 1:30am as they advertise 24/7 and I wasn't told until 7AM that someone was headed out. read more

I was locked out after hours and called them. When I asked about the price the guys who answer said that the technician will let me know. The technician called right away and they asked for a $75 deposit which I hesitantly agreed after he said that the price would be $199 for the the work. When He arrived and gave me the final total i was shocked to see it was $324 not including the initial $75 dollars. I get it, it was an after hour call but the fact that they would not give me a estimated total price over the phone should've been enough for me not to use their services. Being this shady when it comes to service price and not being upfront about the actual cost was extremely disappointing and was double of what I paid another service a few months ago during after hours as well. I will definitely not be using TC Locksmith ever again and if you want to avoid feeling scammed I recommend you look for other providers. My questions had nothing to do with the service but rather what the next step was in hiring them. Needed a new fob for the car. Tech came and made one. The old one witch worked, just didn't attach to a key ring due to breakage, no longer worked. Tech said only one could be programmed into the car. That amazed me as 2 came with the car.. Guess the manufacturer has secret powers the Tech doesn't know about. I recommend calling someone else. Used the company to get a replacement fob for our vehicle. They came quickly and appreciated their communication. While they did the work, I was encouraged to write a review (before service was done). We noticed less than a month of that the range of the fob was decreasing and within 1.5 months we had to be next to the front door in order to lock/unlock. When we called the vendor to express concerns, we were told that after market fobs are not as good of quality and to go to Autozone to get a new battery. The person who answered the phone was dismissive. Given the cost of getting the replacement fob, it was not the tone or response we would have hoped for and would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I am sad to day would give TC Locksmith less than a 1 star if I could. I spoke with the locksmith this morning. We scheduled an appointment for 1pm today. I rushed home from my errands to be here on time. At 1:30 he called and said he would be here within the hour. Then another 1Hr 40 minutes later he called to tell me he was on his way a stuck in traffic. After waiting 3 1/2 hours for him to show up I called and canceled my appointment. He was surprised and asked me why. I told him I has waisted my day off waiting for him to show up for more than 3 1/2 hours, then we asked if I wanted to reschedule. Absolutely not! What a NIGHTMARE from HELL! TC Locksmith 24/7 dispatched a guy to my home without my permission. I wanted to speak with someone first to get a quote before making a decision. I was told by the answering service that in order to get an estimated cost I had to provide the address name and phone. The person taking the call said he will have a technician reach out to me with a quote. (That didn't happen) he stated I owe him a trip charge no matter what and I asked him to stop what he was doing inside my house and leave the premises. He refused to do so stating he will leave once he is paid for his time. I told this guy that I would be happy to pay the one who called with the quote and that I approved to come which was NOT TC locksmith 24/7rather than show up start doing a job and then curse profanities inside my home in front of others and I asked him to leave multiple times and again refused. I called 911 and he left but the other locksmith stayed and waited with my daughter for help to arrive. The locksmith Nobel Locksmith said he would be happy to stay with my daughter until the police arrived. The TC locksmith guy left and drove away. He was asked by others who he was, and he refused to state his name or give us a business card. I have NEVER felt so violated in my own home by a service provider. He called me names that I wouldn't dare repeat here. Witnesses shared with the police officers the extent of this company's abuse.
