***BEWARE** I have experienced and have evidence of bad business practices. Leo first quoted me price for a brake job over the phone. The price was to replace pads and rotors. His shop cannot resurface rotors. When I arrived at the appointment. Leo changed the price on me. 50$ more that what was poured over the phone. I agreed and continue. *NOTE * no written estimate was provided or paperwork to sign. I found that to be suspicious. 30 mins later he calls to tell me the parts are not the correct size (after being verified by NAPA before leaving) and also that he will have to go to another auto parts store to purchase new pads that fit. I declined and mentioned I only use NAPA as replacement parts. He then got angry and disrespectful and told me to go and get those parts and tried to keep my car unless I paid him to put my car back together or double once job is fully completed. I then told him in order for me to go and figure out the part situation, I need my car to be running and the old parts were still fine. I then informed Leo that I will not pay until the whole job is completed and to give me an invoice or a receipt of the work that was done so far and that I will return once I get the correct size. After letting him know above (no written estimate, no receipt or invoice is not proper business . Leo then declined to offer any sort of proof of taking my brakes off and putting them back on. He told me I had to pay $160 in order to leave with a receipt. Or pay double when the job is completed if I am able to get the correct parts. He declined to offer a courtesy ride. I called and filed a report with the BBB. Filed a non emergency police report. Please consider going to a legit mechanic. I think Leo is running a scam, because he mentioned he gets parts from Car Auto Parts at a discount and if ever he has the wrong size or w/e he can get compensated from them. Idk. This was not a good experience at all. Very bizarre & just goes to show you that if a car mechanic is not going to make a lot of money on a small job, they will NOT be interested in doing anything at all, & won't care if their reputation is compromised. ALL a mechanic has is his or her reputation, but Leo is NOT concerned with losing HIS reputation, or the reputation of his rude, smug, laughing employee's, I'm referring to "JOSE" specifically when I write this. My husband Don & I went to Leo's shop at the advice of some kid from "Scrubby's Express Lube" which IS a fine business that we go to once a month for an oil change. We went to Leo's over a month ago to correct a squeaking noise in our engine. So, because this young man at Scrubby's said Leo was a great mechanic we went to him. And for the record, my husband is a Veteran, and 86-years-old, so I always go with him when there is discussion of any kind of repair to our Jeep, which we have almost completely restored. We had a noise in our engine because of a loose belt, this is what we thought, but apparently it was not the belt, it was something else, some part of the engine below the belt that needed tightening called the "tensioner." This is what we were told by the employee at Scrubby's. He seemed certain that it was the tensioner, and not the belt. When we went to Leo's, we were polite and respectful, we explained what the young man had told us at Scrubby's, that it was the tensioner that needed "tightening." Leo seemed nice, gave eye contact and seemed honest. Leo said all we needed was a new belt. We were confused but took his word for it. So, he replaced the belt and charged us $99. The next day, the noise came back, so the day after that we returned to Leo's and said that the noise had returned and maybe it was the tensioner that needed to be tightened after all, and not the belt. Without out permission, Leo reached in and took out "his" belt and replaced our old belt, saying we didn't need the new belt but that it was actually a missing bolt or screw that went under the belt, inside... guess what? The tensioner! But he said that because we have a '96 Jeep, he would have to order it. Order a bolt? Okay. He said it would take two weeks and he'd call us back. He never called back. So, more than two weeks later, I called back. Leo could not remember who we were. I had to talk to him for a couple minutes before he remembered who we were. Then he said he'd ordered this part but it would not come until June 29th, which was in a couple of days and he would call us. So, June 29th rolls around, and yep, no call from good old Leo. So, on the 30th of June, I called him. Leo was friendly and polite, as always, and said that the part had finally come and so we could come by at 9:00 am on July first. That was yesterday. So, this is the good part. We came by Leo's yesterday, at 9:07 am. NO Leo. We drove up, parked in front of the service area and turned off the engine and waited. Though Leo's 2 employees saw us, they didn't walk up right away, or wave or say, "Be with you in a minute." Finally, JOSE walks up & wants to know what we want. I politely explained that Leo had an appointment with us at 9:00 am, for our car. "Leo's not here" says Jose. That's it. No explanation, no nothing. I then explain what happened to our car, how Leo couldn't seem to fix it and the whole joke about ordering the part. JOSE is now smiling and laughing. He thinks this whole situation is SOOOO funny. But again, "Leo's not here!" As if that is all we need to know. When I asked when Leo would be back, JOSE didn't respond. "He's not here!" Okay. Then I became impatient, again repeating what had happened and how Leo had not fixed this really simple issue but had taken our MONEY and had not fixed the problem. "Why are you yelling at ME?!" JOSE wants to know. I was not yelling. It became quite clear LEO & JOSE & this whole operation are just a bunch of crooks who take your money, smile at you & don't do the work. Now, perhaps Leo does have 2 or 3 good reviews. I'm sure those problems involved more MONEY, but because WE had a small issue, he didn't give a damn. And that's okay, because now there is this review on YELP and its a ONE STAR review. If I could give him Zero stars, I would. There is another lesson here, and that is don't try to get something for nothing. I told my husband that we should take the Jeep to our regular Jeep Dealership in Beaverton, these people know Jeeps. Sure, they are more expensive but if we had gone there, instead of some cheap crook who will take your money and give you nothing in return, our Jeep would be fixed. But Don wanted to take the word of his kid at Scrubby's, (who turned out to be a family friend of Leo's family) LOL... So, against MY better judgement, I let my husband talk me into going there. Next time, even if it is twice as expensive, we WILL be going to the people who can actually do the job, and not some guy who will con you. read more

Coming here to leave honest review & If seen I hope to save others time and money. I only came here because my dad rated him 5 stars. He said this man was professional, clean, nice & trustworthy. I BELIEVED that. My suv had a broken radiator & major water leak. I was very grateful that he was able to find time to take a look & say what he found. I ended up letting him fix it, still believing that it was in Good hands. However when I got it back I paid 600+ I thanked him, and left happy because it was up and working. I got it back right before my work shift. So when I got off and had a closer look at my car I noticed something DIFFERENT. My bumper looked a bit slanted. One side not fully connected to headlight. It was a little bit but ENOUGH to bother me. I opened up engine and noticed 2 broken caps. From what it looks they had remove in order to remove bumper. & I noticed a missing screw. I called first thing in the morning 9am & I was able to get there early so he can see what I saw. He "replaced the missing screw" but Let's just say I had the WORST experience that left me crying. I was hurt. I respectfully paid 300+ for labor and for it not to be done 100% professionally? I'm a mom of two so I'm sorry for worrying about missing screws in the inside of my bumper had me go back to tell him & show it. but he insisted it's put on correctly. That it Wasn't wobbly, said it was probably just how the headlights go on after I repeatedly reminded him that my vehicle was NOT like this when I dropped it off. I even asked logical questions and he was rude. I was trying to process everything going on because over the phone he had said that HE would fix it or if it took time I would have to leave it there again! But He really ended up walking away saying " im not gonna argue about that". When I wasn't trying to argue , i wanted to be HEARD. No one buys a car off a dealership with a bumper looking like that lol so can't blame other things. I know what my car looked like. I didn't even ask for some type of money back as I probably should have. Im young & that was hard earned money that I respectfully paid him for doing his job as a mechanic. I wish I went to Ford instead of this place. I don't know if the job would've been done better but I know that place has a larger space, its CLEAN with nice people. I could say more but I'm done. My lesson was learned this week. Thanks for "fixing" my car. I still appreciate the time. I just hope and pray nothing falls off until I can get it looked at again since my back tires have now been making a noise since I got it back also.. read more

My experience with Leo has been outstanding. He has repaired two different items on my Lincoln Ls and haven't had any problems. The first time I thought the repair would be in the thousands but he found the cause and only cost $128. Lovely. I have referred everyone to him that I know of with auto repair problems. Horrible experience with this place. i highly recommend you do not go there. Super shady and not legit in my eyes at all. i bought a car from an older couple who had some engine work done here and they gave me the qoute from it which was supposably what they gave them for there receipt for an 1800 dollar repair. not cool at all any normal mechanic would provide a receipt saying paid in full and keep a copy for themselves. leo didnt even have a copy when i asked for one. then five days after i bought the car it died on me on the freeway while i was on my way to work so i had it towed to leos cause there was a one year warranty on the engine work that had been previously done and so leo said he would take a look at it an let me know he didnt get back to me for almost a week an finally i had to drive to the shop personally an figure out what was goin on an found out from one of the mechanics(leo wasnt present as usual) that there was no compression in two cylinders an finally talked to leo a few days later an asked if he knew when my car would be fixed cause i had to purchase a rental car an he nonchalantly said ahh not this upcoming weekend but maybe the weekend after that so they took there sweet time and i finally got my car back an had to go pick it up while leo wasnt there and called him to see if i could get a list or anything showing what he had to do to my car and he was completely rude and unprofessional saying "you didnt pay me no money i dont need to give you nothing" soo rude! i couldnt believe it. and i have a service engine soon light on after he suppoasably jus serviced the engine and i went to see him in person to try an get the check engine light looked at an figure out what he did to my car he showed me a couole of broken parts an said thats what i had to fix an told me thats all he can do an that i can leave now. hes angry cause he had to cover a warranty on work he did an treated me like shit because i didnt pay any money. totally unproffesional will never recommend or take another vehicle there again read more
