Nice selection of frames at an excellent price. I've ordered glasses from Costco, Walmart and Zinni over the years. While Zinni probably has the best prices, I still missed being able to try on glasses and have someone else help me select frames. I found the best of both worlds at this store. No long lines like at Costco, better frame selection than Walmart, and better pricing than either of those so-called discount outlets. I wanted to get new glass for my wife and me and decide to visit the shop.. we truly like the shop and the Myra. She was very honest and helping. We liked few frames and very reasonable price. However, my insurance was out of network and did not give me good incentive for lens hence I did not bought from here but sure next time whenever I am in-network I will use her service. She also helps to adjust my old frame and gave very honest quote with a smile saying that if another place you get a better deal due to insurance she will advise us to go there. read more

Great customer service and friendly, I contact them through e-mail and sent a copied of my current prescription. When everything was all done, they asked me if I wanted the 47/22 or the 50/22 sizes in the Ray-Ban model 5121. I had to wait because they had to special order the 50/22 size. It took a week or a few days I believe for the frames to arrive but when it was shipped out it to my uncle it only took a day. I also had a problem and forgot to get AR coating on my lenses. I e-mailed them and they were kind of enough to take my glasses back and add onto my lenses. you can find high end brands names for a decent price. I am very satisfy and happy with my eyeglasses and would do business with them again. I would recommend lenses & frames optical to my friends and family. I had heard about this place from a friend a couple of months ago, so when I was walking around the Kaiser parking lot and noticed it, I decided to check it out. I thank God that I did. It was perfect timing. I had a fresh prescription in my purse, so I got back in my truck and off I went. Myra was absolutely fantastic! She made my new glasses selection run very smoothly. They have a nice selection and the prices were great, as well. We also got the chance to laugh and chat like old friends. That was a great experience! I highly recommend them! I had just left Kaiser's Optical Sales store at the Union City office after being shocked at $460 price tag for a pair of glasses. I was planning to order something online but I happened to spot Lenses & Frames Optical as I was leaving the Kaiser parking lot. Frames and Lenses was great! Myra was very friendly and showed me to a wall of $58 frames. The selection of the low cost frames was quite large, though they do have other options available. The total in-store display was not as large as that over at Kaiser, but they do have a catalog available and they carry a wide variety of brands. If you see a set of frames on the internet, bring them the model number and they can probably order it for you, at the internet price. In any case, I was able to find a pair of frames in store that suited me fine. I opted for a more expensive frame which has a flexible metal. Also driving up my cost were some transition lenses with anti-glare coating. Despite not being in the VSP network, they were able to bill VSP directly for me saving me out of pocket cost and having to submit for a reimbursement. For a pair of glasses that would have cost me $460 at Kaiser, I was able to pay less than $90 at Lenses & Frames. When I'm ready to order my sunglasses, I'll definitely be going back to Lenses and Frames Optical. Thanks! read more

The service price that she charged for repairing eye-glass is less than one-third of the charge from other stores in term of my eye-glass problem, plus quality of repairing was very good, and service was very fast. In addition, the owner of this store is REALLY NICE! She'd even like to take less payment from me when I didn't have enough cash changes on hand. I saw that they had a great selection of Oakley Prescription Glasses as well as other brands and styles. I just bought a pair of Ray Ban 2132 Wayfarers from this place today. Although I've already done my research and everything on the glasses and the store, I was very satisfied with everything. I walked into the store knowing what I wanted to buy so I didn't spend anything more than 10 minutes inside. I originally wanted to buy the white wayfarers, but the lady called the company and told me those were discontinued. Therefore, I opted for the black matte that they had available. The lady was very friendly and kind :) That pretty much summed up my experience here (aside from the additional small talk that is summoned by awkward silences haha); it was quick and good. It was a few days before Xmas and she got my glasses for me within 5 days. I ordered two pairs, brought my own frames and the first pair no extra charge, the second $5 only for the frame usage.
