I ordered 8 frames from the LensCrafters website and delivered them here. I went to the store and picked it up. I asked can you guys open it for me, but they declined the request. Seems they did not like that I did not buy any frames from the store. But this store did not have all the frames which I wanted to try that's why. I already visited this store 2 weeks back and checked their collection, that's why ordered online and delivered it here. I tried those frames, and I had questions about the glass fit, the frames I was trying, and the about doctor's prescription, again I could sense the staff's reluctance, it was not at all friendly. One guy came (Muneer), and he answered my questions but it was not cheerful interaction, it was more like "Let me answer to this guy, and then he can leave as he is not going to buy from the store" Anyway, in the end, Muneer helped me order the same frame (because they could not apply for the insurance on the item which I bought online), and worked with me on types of glasses, polarized, anti-reflection, smudge, etc...). I had a coupon at home, I talked to Muneer, and we worked on alternatives. I ordered on phone, and he placed the order for me. I picked it up last week. The fitting was perfect. At last, Muneer was very helpful... but it was the first vibe of the store's staff - which I did not like. I was asked if I needed help immediately upon arrival, I declined so that I could browse a bit and found a pr of glasses that I liked. I asked the young lady who greeted me (Majedah) if she could help me w my selection and etc and she happily did so. I'm newer to glasses, how the insurance works and etc...she was beyond patient and helpful w me. I couldn't possibly have had a better 1st experience w LensCrafters! I sincerely hope that she is commended and appreciated here bc customer service falls short all too often and she was perfect. read more

Large assortment of glasses and sunglasses. Great pricing and the associates are so helpful and patient. They have a huge interactive display where you can search any frame in case they are not available in store. Oh and there are attached to an ophthalmologist too! So if you are looking to purchase new frames I highly recommend this store. read more

We went to the the outside Willowbrook location - this was the best experience I have had purchasing glasses! I was visiting from NH to NJ and accompanying my 85 year old mom to see Dr Mariam Aslami. She is very knowledgeable, very thorough, takes the time to explain and really seems to care. My Mom was so impressed and so relieved to have found a really good Dr to treat her eyes. After her exam and a follow up my mom needed an updated prescription to be filled. We were helped by a technician named Muneer to find some new frames as my mom was looking for an updated pair. He was so helpful. He was also very kind, patient and went above and beyond to help my mom find the right glasses frames/ fit and correct type of lenses. While we were waiting for the paperwork I tried on some frames. I had been looking for a very long time to replace my old ones. I found a pair that was perfect. I did not by them however that visit but Muneer wrote down the information for me to take home. Well I went back to NH the next day but could not find the frames. I called and Muneer remembered us. He is having the glasses shipped to me in NH. He was so helpful and let me know with my insurance I get a pretty good discount which was a bonus. I will always go back to this NJ location from now on whenever I need glasses! read more

Be "watchful," as I was lied to by counter staff and retail manager that I was getting the "best price possible" because they both repeatedly lied stating that my VSP Eye Insurance was fully accepted at lens crafters. VSP is OUT of network at lens crafters and is NOT fully accepted. As well, the glare proof lens coating did nothing for head light glare on the road as promised and is not at all clear lensed like promised or like the glasses I replaced the Lens Crafters rip offs with. In subsequent talk with manager who could do nothing to help, I was alerted that yes I was lied to by the desk help and that VSP eye insurance was not accepted at any Lens Crafters stores. She offered only to honor the already standard 30 day return guarantee. I but of course lost three hours combined getting and returning the half a thousand dollar pair of rip off glasses. My original wait time was two hours to simply sit and order the rip off glasses and an hour plus returning them. My new glasses were bought in five minutes at a REAL VSP ACCEPTED FULLY different store. Do not trust these lying ridiculously over priced sheisters. read more

This Lenscrafters is on the outside of Willowbrook Mall, near the entrance to California Pizza Kitchen. My mom stopped here a few times during a frame sale to find a new pair of glasses. She invited me to see what she chose before she bought them. Unfortunately, the glasses my mom originally picked out appeared to have been sold; however, the staff did their best to find her a comparable pair. After spending some time on fitting the new pair, we actually found the original frames she wanted on another shelf. We went through the whole process again, but she left with a good looking pair of everyday glasses. The glasses were finished and adjusted quickly, and the same saleslady helped my mom through the whole process. Points for a good sale & great service, no points for (slight) disorganization - and no seating! We were in there for a while, looking for a replacement pair, and the only seats were the ones being used by the staff. I had to switch chairs every few minutes. read more

Overall, I am very pleased with my new glasses. I feel confident in the quality and durability of the glasses, and I feel my face was measured very well. They also had a decent selection of mid-to high end frames, but there could have been more looks and more wire-frame. The prices for designer frames are very reasonable. They do have an issue where they are utterly packed on Saturdays, and you will be helped by multiple people all who will get pulled away. There is also next to no seating, and you may have to wait for measurements. Try to go any other day of the week. read more

Excellent service overall!! I was greeted as soon as I came inside!! DR. Wong was great and explained everything very well! She was very kind and made me feel comfortable I would definitely see her again!! I also had great service from a woman named Ria, one of the lens technicians I believe, she was very nice and helpful and explained the difference between certain anti-reflective lenses also did not push me to get things as far as the lenses go. I also had a great experience with one of the technicians who work on the fitting and prescription of the lenses he was super nice and I did not make me feel rushed even though they were pretty busy. Unfortunately I did not get his name but I how he looks so I know who to go to and next time get his name and update this review with his name ! read more

As I got to my daughter's appointment I was told my insurance did not cover vision, I asked, Lens Crafters doesn't take my insurance or I don't have vision insurance at all? The girl told me my insurance did NOT COVER at all. Well, we called the insurance and my daughter was covered, however, Lens Crafters didn't take the insurance. That was not what I was told. And she gave an attitude. Terrible. I was stupid enough to pay for the appointment before knowing the right facts and I'm so pissed because of that. Make sure you check with your insurance before you also get scammed. Then there was the price of the rip off lenses, a pair of lenses was more money than getting the frame and lenses all together, just ridiculous. Never again! read more

I purchased two pair of glasses at the Willowbrook store. Paid 1464.00 which is astronomical, but that's besides the point. My problem is that the case they gave me (a women) looks like a mans black pocket protector. When I asked if I could have a different one, they said that's all they have, but I could buy a better one! Didn't even get a cleaning cloth or spray. Are you kidding me?? Spend 1464.00 on two pair of glasses and that's all you get? Never going back. read more

My new glasses from Lenzcrafters at Willowbrook are AMAZING and I'm so happy about the great job they did. Actually, the frames are vintage Ralph Lauren Avaitors from the late '70s that I had in a draw for 30 years. Because my prescription calls for trifocals, I needed frames that stay more permanently in place and the old wire frame solution worked perfectly. They stay put and look great. It was all thanks to Ms. Nardeen Helmy, the store's market manager's fashion sense and technical expertise. I was not turned away with this unusual request to re purpose my big old glasses. (most other eyeglass stores did) Nardeen stepped right up to the plate with her fashion stylist creativity and was able to get this big restoration project done perfectly. I stop in once a month and they gladly adjust the fit for me. I am so pleased and grateful and totally compelled to share this great find! read more

I'm very disappointed in the service this store provided me. I ordered a pair of glasses but needed them shipped to another LensCrafters that was closer to where I go to school. While I was told they were shipping them out ASAP and would take 2/3 days, they were no where to be found 5 days out. I found out that this LensCrafters didn't even send it out, and I ended up waiting a week longer than I needed to because of their forgetfulness. I will absolutely be making sure to go to a different LensCrafters from here on out. read more

My family and I have come to this office for eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses but we will not be returning. They gave me an incorrect prescription and when I tried to order my contact lenses from a different vendor with a significantly lower price, the office said the prescription was incorrect and I was no longer an active client. The receptionist was extremely rude for no reason and said there was a "glitch in the system." Honestly, do you and your family a favor and use a different optometrist office. read more

No stars if I could. We stopped going here due to their terrible customer service. But as a result of the pandemic not many options so we thought we would give them another try. Made an appointment for my daughter for an eye exam which is fully covered under the insurance. They still needed a credit card on file to confirm the appt. I'm not working at the moment and since she is under the father's insurance I asked them to please contact him. They said no problem. They never sent him the forms via email he needed to fill out in advance and they never got the credit card information from him either. Went to the appt. the following week, called from inside of the car as we are supposed to, to inform them we have arrived. I'm told they took my daughter off the schedule because they never received credit card information in advance. Exam is fully covered so why must you have the card info. anyway? And why didn't anyone call me to tell me they were not able to confirm the appt etc...? I asked to speak to the manager the person says I am the manager. I asked for her name but she ignored me and refused to tell me. She would not take responsibility that someone should have notified me when they took my daughter off the schedule. So when you speak to the woman with the ghetto Hispanic accent, that's the manager. Clearly their customer service has not changed at all. It's ok though, I was able to make another appt somewhere else hassle free. No forms to fill out in advance and no force of a credit card needed on file in advance either. Dr. Eva Patel is great. They have very convenient appointment times including weekends, and you can schedule your appointment online. They have great staff who is friendly and courteous. The price for glasses can be expensive but the staff will help you try to save as much as possible. You can also order contacts online, which is much cheaper. read more

This place is awesome!! I've never written a review before but the manager Nicole is wonderful as is the rest of the staff. Customer service here is top notch. I know nothing about the independent optometrist because I need to see a specialist but the staff here are great. In all my years of getting glasses I've never had a better customer service experience, and I never thought I would say that about a LensCrafters. read more

Doctor Patel and his staff were very friendly and courteous. Everything was explained to me in layman's terms. I received a comprehensive examination of my eyes. The salesman; Robert was very helpful in helping me select my eyewear and I was satisfied with the glasses after the optometrist fitted them for me. I recommend LensCrafters. read more

I went here for my two most recent eye exams and contact lens fittings. The Drs. and staff are always friendly. They are up front about costs and they always have good deals on contacts. I've been very satisfied with my prescriptions and with the contacts they prescribe. read more

I only gave this one star because there is no option for zero or negative stars. They are running a scam through which they bring you into the check-up room for a "basic" eye exam (since that is what my eye insurance covers) and then they give you some medical advice inside the room and inform you this just became a "medical procedure". My medical insurance, cigna, was not in their network and they insisted I pay out of pocket. I was not even informed that I was undergoing a medical procedure, or the fact that they don't accept my medical insurance. They misinformed me and when I called them out on it, they proceeded to talk to me with an attitude. I told them this is not normal practice, patients should always be told about costs and if costs are changing (since this wasn't an emergency procedure). Finally after speaking with two receptionists who tried to get me to pay, they admitted they were wrong. If I had been someone who doesn't know her rights or speak proper english, they would have definitely taken advantage. Never going back here! read more

So this isn't the first time I go to this store. But i figured since I was around the area I might as well stop there. Boy do I regret it. So I was trying to exchange the frame because for the week that I've had it I had to go get it adjusted twice at a different location because it kept getting crooked. So the rep in that location told me give it a few more days if it happens again then I should consider an exchange since their policy does state I have 30 days for exchanges if I'm not satisfied. So as I entered the Willowbrook location I was greeted by a young nice lady whom I explained everything to and she told me she would be more than happy to help me. As I'm waiting around I get another lady who is at the desk yelling across the store telling me that they couldn't do the exchange that I'd need to go back to the store I bought it from. I explained to her that is not what I was told and that we could contact customer service over the phone to verify that information. After giving me an attitude and whispering to her coworkers right in front me she tells me to pick the frame I want. So after looking around I finally picked another frame I liked. After getting measured and giving them my prescription the gentleman helping me was moved over by that same lady (I wish I'd gotten her name) and she took over the transaction being that the new frame is more expensive I was going to pay the difference but then she started to rush me through the transactions to the point she even took out the card out of the card reader herself. She then goes they'll be ready in 10 mins we close at 9 as it was 7:45pm. I walked out of the store and decided to call LensCrafters customer service to complain about the service and a very nice and apologetic lady submitted a complained for me. When I went back into the store to pick up the glasses they tried them on and once again feeling rushed they gave em to me and walked out of the store. As I'm adjusting to having glasses again I was originally getting a little dizzy to the new prescription (with the original frame) but this new frame doesn't feel as it has the same prescription to the point that I noticed there are certain things I can't see right. So now I'm afraid that with them trying to rush me out of there they put the wrong prescription on my lenses. I will be going back to the original store I purchase from to check the prescription. The location in Willowbrook mall needs retraining in customer service especially from someone who seems to be a manger or supervisor. Hopefully it was that she was just having a bad day and that she isn't like this with every single client. Went to this Lenscrafter June 11, 2013 to purchase eyeglasses for $500. Wanda, the saleslady, tried to sell me their Protection Plan for $35. I'm ALWAYS weary about these things and said no! She told me for the price of these glasses I should and she had used the plan several times due to scratches/breakage. No! As she continued I thought about it and said yes. $500 is a lot of money. Well 11 days later on the June 22, I put my purse on the running board of the car and forgot about it and drove away. Of course I couldn't find it until an hour later on the road with all my items scattered about with two cars stopping to help out. Well, my new $500 glasses BROKE completely and scratched. Everything else survived. When I went into the store thinking this is going to be a problem because the plan says breakage due to handling, I was completely prepared for the worse! The lady at the store told me "no problem". The plan covers everything! WHAT?? Did I hear right? In two hours, I had a new pair and paid the $25.00 extra and was the most happiest customer ever. Then I saw Wanda, the saleslady, and thanked her. I even bought a pair of sunglasses and insured them too! Thank you LensCrafter!!!! GET THE PROTECTION PLAN!!!! read more
