I get a new pair of glasses every year because I like variety and my insurance covers it; however, I have gotten them from VisionWorks for many years because LensCrafters doesn't take my insurance. I wasn't liking any of the frames a few months ago at VisionWorks, so I decided to see what LensCrafters had. LensCrafters, in my opinion, has a lot more versatility and more brands (especially couture) than VisionWorks. I found a lovely pair of pink Burberry glasses and Stephanie worked with me and actually got the price down with discounts to what I would have paid out of pocket using my insurance at VisionWorks. I wish I had known years ago that LensCrafters competed so well with other places because I would have been buying them here all along! Stephanie was great; very friendly! I had my glasses in a week and I was so pleased! They barely needed adjusting at all. I'll be back here again in the fall of this year to get a new pair - hoping they have the blue Burberry frames I took pics of and put here on Yelp cause I'm really feeling those! read more

My boyfriend & I are visiting from California and had the worst mishap of all... his glasses broke and contacts tore all within the same day we arrived. We were prepared to spend hours just trying figure out how we were going to go about solving all of this. Not to mention it's a sunday and every optometry office is basically closed. With a +7.5 prescription everyone we called gave us a simple response of "good luck with that". Fortunately, we came to lenscrafters with a seed of hope and our worries were immediately relieved. Less than a year ago I bought that frame for the first time for which I paid over $700. From the beginning I didn't feel comfortable with them, but I told myself I have to adapt. In fact, because they were expensive glasses, I only used them on special occasions. I notice that the lenses are scratched, but it was something strange. I go to the store and explain to them, I tell them I have been wearing glasses for a long time and this is the first time something like this has happened to me. The person tells me that he has to talk to the manager and he comes to me and he tells me that they can't do anything, because that happened because of the way I cleaned them. I was shocked, because I know how to take care of my glasses, especially ones this expensive. He offered to make me new glasses, but I had to pay about $300 dollars. I purchased Cartier prescription glasses from this branch last november 2023 and got it after a couple of weeks. Anywas after a couple of months the product ended up defective. I called Cartier and they directed me to go back Lenscrafters to sort it out since it is a factory defect. Went to Lenscrafters yesterday and the " Iam the manager today" Bree tried to help but she apparently can't do anything or lenscrafters can't do anything once its out the door and I should directly sort it out with Cartier. Please don't but any Cartier from this "authorized dealer" cause they will offer no assisttance at all. I will contact my CC and file a dispute for a defective product. read more

What an incredibly accommodating location this is! My wife was stranded in Orlando as part of the Snowpocalypse February 2022, and the airline lost her luggage with all of her one day use contacts As well as her regular glasses. We fortunately had her prescription as a PDF and email, and this location pulled a couple days worth of sample contacts for her and put them to the side so she could get to the location and ensure her ability to see for the rest of the weekend. Worst experience in purchasing prescription sunglasses ever at the LensCrafters in the Macy's at the Milennia Mall in Orlando After two months, and three tries... they still were not able to get the prescription correct. Always a different person working... so there was no way to establish a relationship. 1. The technicians totally forgot to give the instructions to make the sunglasses progressive prescription the first time - and my sunglasses came back with no prescription. 2. When the glasses finally came back again two weeks later the prescription was wrong and everything was blurry in the left eye. 3. We gave them one more chance to get the prescription right and it still was not corrected. However, this technician spent a lot of time with me and said he promised he would have the technicians make the curvature on the lens proper... 4. Ten days later he left a message stating the glasses Had been received, but still had not been corrected. So after two months of dealing with the LensCrafter in the Millenia Mall I ended up going thru the process of getting all my finances hopefully returned so I may use my insurance at another location. The person taking care of me was not really sure how to reimburse the credit card and the insurance company...i once again patiently waited for the other person working to help with the reimbursement. Everyone is very very nice however the quality of the product is totally unsatisfactory. So disappointed. I have always purchased my glasses at the ophthalmologist office where I go for my yearly eye exams. However this time, I was not thrilled with any of the sunglass styles they had in the office... My eye exam was just like any other annual eye exam, but the doctor gave me drops and told me to come in a week after to take a look into my eyes again. the Front desk tells me that they have my appointment down for the following week. I called them a few days before I came in again and the front desk person NEVER put down my appointment. They also were suppose to order my contact lens and it took OVER A MONTH to get just the TRIAL PAIR. I will probably NEVER come back here again. I usually feel like most Optometrists are cold and just want to get you in and out but Dr. Forrest was so sweet and took the time to explain everything they do and get to know you a bit herself. She was happy to show me how, why and what they are looking for and, as someone who used to want to do in the Doctor field and who loves science, I truly loved the entire experience and I hop she stays for a long time. I already had my prescription and had done some research online in regards to which frames I liked, so that part of the process was pretty simple. Antonio assisted me with selecting and purchasing my frames and lenses. The other employees were also of assitance during the process and provided feedback when requested. I returned my glasses due to them just being too uncomfortable. Pretty sure they were just too big. I pad cash for my copay and was told I'd have to get a check from corporate. That was a month ago. I've called twice this week to check on this and each time was told they were busy with a customer. First person said she'd call me back. Second person said he couldn't help me, after I told him I was already told I'd be called back and wasn't. He said I'd have to wait and call manager and she wouldn't be back in until tomorrow. So I picked up my frameless glasses tonight at this location, because it's frameless it's a little tough to adjust to the right fit. The nice gentleman that was helping me asked and opinion of a co-worker name Ream and the response was, nothing much you can do because of the type of frame that it is... By the way, with a little attitude... So I said, well if this glasses isn't going to fit me properly, then it's no good to me. Just give me my money back. And her reply, well so long as it's within 30 days. What!? She doesn't even realized that I'm there to pick up my new glasses. Anyway, the nice gentleman from Puerto Rico that used to live in Houston quickly apologized for her rude behavior and proceeded to the lab with my glasses to ask for help there. And eventually, they got it to work, and return averted. The guy said something to her in the room, and when she came out, she looked at me somewhat laughing as if she didn't care.. Well, if they would look at their record, they will see that 3 of us in my family had been doing business with Lens Crafters. It's safe to say that we will not be doing business with Lens Crafters, at least not in this location in the future. To the management of this location. Wonderful service and consideration by Dr. Forrest and Co! They were exceptionally considerate and kind with my many questions about glasses and contacts prescriptions. And even allowed me to try a few different pairs bc I was between scripts and having difficulty with finding the appropriate lens for my eyes. Would definitely go back! A bit bummed that LensCrafters Millenia no longer carries the glasses brands that I used to gravitate toward. But they do still have a few I like. Just not as many higher end ones as they used to. Avoid this store. It is slow, overpriced, and has poor customer service. I went in to get my eye exam on 12/26/18. That day when I ordered my glasses they said since it was the holidays it would take them until around the 4th or the 5th for me to receive my glasses since I had to have them shipped to New Orleans where I live. 12/29/18 I received a text message telling me my glasses were ready. 1/5/19 came around and I received no shipping confirmation or packages so I started to worry my glasses had been lost in the mail. 1/8/19 I called them and they forgot about me when I was on hold, and hung up on me. When I called back, I was told by representative that my glasses were STILL in the store in Orlando, and I would receive them in 2-3 days. A week later I still had no packages or any confirmation that my glasses had shipped. The second time I called on 1/14/19 not only did they not look up or help me with anything I was asking, but told me they would call me back in thirty minutes. An hour later I have to call back AGAIN and they hung up on me. Maybe if I had confirmation or any information during this process I wouldn't be so angry. However this staff did nothing to insure me that my glasses were on their way. Thanks for nothing LensCrafters! I will never use LensCrafters ever again. read more

What a difference good customer service can make! I had an issue with the Winter Garden store.I called the corporate number to talk to someone about my issue. A week went by and no one called back! I pretty much decided I would never do business with Lens Crafters again but then a friend at work mentioned she had good luck with the store at Mall of Millenia. Sure enough the Millenia store made sure I left with a pair of glasses I would be happy with. It's amazing to me that one store "followed protocol" as I was told but that protocol meant I had a $400 pair of glasses that were basically unusable to me. Millenia Lenscrafters truly has customer service at the heart of their store. They have proven their technical ability in the past with progressive lenses for my husband and now they have earned our trust and future business. read more

I really like the people who work here and they have a surprisingly hip collection of frames. Making an appointment, the actual exam, and trying on frames here is very easy and laid back. I was worried about pricing because I finally had to give in and get bifocals. Well, I was right to be worried, because the cost of bi's are enough to make your head spin. I checked around and the prices here are pretty much in line with other stores. I ended up choosing a nice pair of Ray Ban frames that I'm very happy with. My one complaint is the turn around time. I've gotten glasses here twice and both times the time was quoted as 7-10 business days. Both times, I waited even longer and had to call myself to track these down. This is the one area this location needs to work on as it goes a long way towards customer service to keep your clients up to speed. Anyway, my wife tells me I look very handsome, so it's a solid three stars for Lenscrafters. read more

I so dislike this place. I went for my yearly eye exam, and can't complain much from the actual doctors office. What really got on my nerves was the service when it came to buying my contact and choosing my glasses. There was no one available to place my contacts order and the lady from the reception desk from the doctors office ended up helping me through the process. I wanted to choose a pair of glasses and literally everyone was busy. It wasn't that everyone was busy, it was that none would even say "I will be soon there with you"... Worst customer service ever. Complete bait and switch. Bought glasses for my son leaving for college in London. Told after the sale was complete that the specialty lenses they talked us into were not available for two weeks. Apparently the man helping us wasn't even a regular employee and the side kick was brand new. When I said that wouldn't work since he was leaving 3 days later they assured me the glasses would be expedited and shipped internationally for no charge. After no one communicating with us at all we call store and are told that the shipping takes 2-3 weeks!! Forget it. Heading into store now to get a refund and he can go to another store in London. I already had my prescription in hand. I came in here because they had the frames that I wanted. So this review is solely based on buying frames/lenses. I had never gone into a lenscrafters before and this exceeded my expectations. It was really busy and everyone was with someone, but I still got greeted, which does say something. I finally picked a frame I wanted, waited for the next available associate and was in and out in 20 minutes. Just some paperwork to fill out, insurance to be checked and frames to be measured and boom, done and done. Glasses were ready in an hour. I wasn't available to pick them up the same day, so I decided to pick them up the next morning. First thing in the morning, I get a phone call saying my glasses were ready. I walk in, busy as hell again, promptly greeted and helped within 5 mins. Even offered me a drink. Unbelievable. Store busy as hell and even had time to get me a drink. Again, process was smooth sailing. Frames brought out, adjusted a little bit, and in and out within 8 minutes. I never felt rushed. Took his time, I took my time, but still out within minutes because the process was that smooth. Associate that helped me was friendly and professional and so was the manager that helped me the next day. Great experience! read more

okay i had everything done from my eye exam to buying glasses and ordering contacts. my eye exam was awsome and explained everything to me. the coolest tool they took a picture of my eye and so i didn't have to get diulated. it took about a week to get my new contacts in and in the time they gave me a trail pair of contacts and i found a new brand. lenscraters section i found a bit pushy in finding glasses they wanted my to choose a few pairs and than sit down with them and allow the to choose the right glasses for me. i kept telling them i was just looking. they only take certain insurence. read more

The doctor who performed my eye exam and the receptionists in the office were absolutely wonderful. The retail section's staff have room for improvement. Took a while for anyone to help and when I was helped I was told my prescription would be ready on Thursday or Friday. ( I came in on a Monday.) Ok great. No call so I called the office and was told it would be 7-10 business days in a very dismissive manner. A week rolls around and I still haven't received a call about my prescription so I call back. I get another roundabout answer saying another couple days. Will take my business elsewhere next time, which is a shame because they have a good selection. read more
