Great staff, professional yet friendly providers. I was 100% completely satisfied and happy with my visit, start to finish.

This is an established business but this is a new location. I mean so new you can't find it in google or Waze. It has that new construction smell. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I asked questions and they were more than happy to assist. I talked to at least 3 people (and the optometrist) and had a wonderful experience. I shamefully have never actually had an eye exam (still haven't) but I'll be making an appt here so I can check on my eyeballs. I think old age is catching up and I might need glasses and this is the place to get it done. read more

I always trust the eye prescriptions they give me. The office is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly.

I had been putting off getting my eye exam for a while, and found Dr. Tu's office on a generic google search. One short call to the office, and they verified that they took my vision insurance and I had an appointment. They gave ample reminders of my appointment time and directions, and instructions to park and call the office upon arrival to follow strict COVID precautions. I was taken in immediately, and waited only a couple minutes before being taken back by the friendly tech. After she completed her exams, it was only another couple minutes before Dr. Tu came. He had a wonderfully calm demeanor and was able to explain what he was looking for in each test. All in all, I highly recommend this office. Everyone was very friendly and wore masks at all times. I will be bringing my husband as a new patient as well. read more

Short Story: unprofessional office manager, will not recommend to any friends or family, will not return. Nice Optometrist though. Details: This was the strangest experience of my life. It started well. I had the morning off unexpectedly and was able to call at 9:15 AM and make an appointment for 10:15 AM, that was great. The receptionist/front desk attendent, Sarah ,she was super nice and very accommodating. Exactly the kind of person who should be at the front desk. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Sarah, given instructions and quickly taken to an exam room. Dr. Patel came in, and she was completely lovely. So far the experience was great. She listened to my concerns, and addressed them the best she could. It was clear that she really wanted me to be happy with the fit of my contacts. I really appreciated her knowledge, attitude and skill. Can't say enough complimentary things about Dr. Patel. As I was checking out, Sarah asked if I would like to have someone explain the finances to me, I thought that was so nice of them to offer. The manager came out, I can't remember her name though I specifically asked for it. She was attempting to communicate the breakdown of cost utilizing my insurance, but was rather confusing, I took that as my own shortcoming as I am not the greatest with numbers. In any case, she gave me my total for the visit, which was a $10 copay and $60 for the contact lens fitting. As I reached into my wallet to grab my credit card, I asked for the lens and contact lens prescriptions. The manager stated she would be happy to give me my lens RX, but wouldn't provide me with my contact Rx as I needed to come back in a week to finalize it. No problem I said, then I will pay the $60 at that time. This really angered this woman who became immediately frustrated stating that the exam was already done today. I areed with this point, but stated that as the exam was done, I should have access to my Rx/results, if not then the exam isn't done. The two of us went back and forth, me refusing to pay without my Rx, and she refusing to give it to me but demanding payment. Ultimately she stormed to the back office where Dr. Patel kindly finalized my Rx, as I had indicated I likely wouldn't be back in a week due to schedule constraints. The strange part here, is that even if I didn't keep my follow up appointment, I had 30 days to go back if there were any issues with the contact lenses, so Im not sure why the manager had such strong feelings about giving me my prescription. In any case, she ultimately gave it to me, I cleared my bill and left. I then realized I wouldn't have a chance to get to the store and went back to ask for a case and some solution to get me through the next few days. When I think about it, this was the first place that didn't automatically give me a bag with these supplies. As I walked back in, i walked in on the manager and her co-worker discussing our interaction in less than kind ways, which is something most people would do, but non the less unprofessional. I am disappointed, I was hoping due to the location and my positive experience with Sarah and Dr. Patel that I had found a great place for my eye health needs, one I could recommend to friends and family, but I would NEVER go back here nor recommend it to anyone based on the bizarre and discomfort provoking behavior of their office staff. I am still a bit perplexed as to why simply requesting my Rx would create so much hostility. Bizarre. I later appreciated that 3 years ago a gentle man wrote of a similar issue. Perhaps this office can review their current policies so as not to put their manager and clients in such a frustrating situation. read more

I did get a contact lens fitting and eye exam here. They were helpful in giving me a prescription for contact lenses with astigmatism. However, when I informed them I was out of town on business (I travel for long periods at a time) and I needed my prescription information to purchase glasses, they informed me that they would not give me all the required information which included my pupillary distance. I can't fly back to Orlando to buy a $450 pair of glasses at this time, I need to order them online to be delivered to me while I am away. Not giving your patients the prescription information that they paid for and are entitled to by law (yes, opticians, this includes pupillary distance) is disrespectful and bad business practice. When I need my eye exam and $400 worth of contacts next year, I will take my business elsewhere and inform everyone else I know to do the same. read more

Please be wary of visiting this location and ENSURE that all equipment and frames are WIPED with sanitizer before putting on your face. First time I went there everything seemed fine. Staff was friendly and Dr Tu was very cordial and accommodating. Got several images of my eyes as well as tried on several frames. This was my first time ever needing or buying eye glasses. Then, 2 days later I noticed some bumps on my eyelid. Turns out I got a Staff infection for the first time in my entire life despite being in multiple eye Dr offices and receiving countless tests, images, and exams. EVERY time I've been to ANY dr office I always see (and smell) the sanitizing solution on the imaging equipment when I put my face in there. It's usually done right in front of me. This was the only Dr office where they didn't apply anything (at least right in front of me) before any tests I was given. Of course there's no real practical way of proving that I got it from there other than my story and a swollen, crusty eye. It's quite clear to me, but nonetheless, that is just the backdrop of the real complaint. I made another appt to have Dr Tu look at my eye and give a protocol to remedy the situation. I assumed they would be, at least empathetic, if not apologetic. But I got the exact opposite. They were rude, would not give me the price for the visit (they did not take my insurance) and they would not or could not answer any of my questions about what was to be done which would have a cost. And she was not willing to go any fort her with the conversation. Look, maybe I'm being over sensitive, but my eye is itchy and gross which I'm pretty positive I got from there. Stuff happens. Nobody's perfect. I'm not asking for compensation or damages. But a little common courtesy and empathy I feel was appropriate. A frame or two missing a wipe down is a mistake. Being rude and dismissive to a customer is a choice. My recommendation: if you visit this office, bring antibacterial lotion, a supply of Lysol wipes, and a large range of money for when they feel like telling you how much it will cost. read more

Dr. Tu and his staff are very kind and attentive. I have been going to both locations for several years.

I called for a first time visit for my 3 kids and they were able to fit me in during the following week with all 3 of my kids back to back the same morning. As a parent I found this super convenient since that meant I wouldn't have to come back another day. Their office is located in a great area and easy to find. Parking can get a little tricky but that is my only complaint and not their fault. The staff that day was amazing! Extremely friendly and welcoming! They definitely know how to interact with kids. They picked out their glasses quickly and with ease thanks to one of the wonderful ladies there who assisted us. Dr. Patel was informative and friendly and made their visit fun. We still have to pick up our glasses when they come in but we will definitely be back for future visits! read more

After reading some of the online reviews, I was extremely hesitant to even go to the store. However, I needed to update my Maui Jim sunglasses. ..and they carry Rx Maui Jims, so I figured I would at least give them a call or go in the store and give it a try. Very glad I did! This was the BEST purchase experience I have ever had for glasses! First, I called the store to confirm they carried Maui Jim Rx sunglasses and to ask how quickly I could get them with my prescription. .. (was concerned from reading other reviews because I had an international trip coming up in a week). I spoke with Murphy at the store. He said he could get them in 4 business days...I was extremely skeptical! ...however, he said stop in and let's get your eye measurements. ..and when I found out they closed at 1p that day..he said, don't worry if you're running a few minutes late..just let me know and I will wait for you...and true to his word...he did. He quickly measured my eyes, copied my Rx and off I went. Very quick and efficient. *I was still quite concerned I wouldn't get my glasses back in time for my trip. Surprisingly, in just a couple business days, Murphy text me and said the glasses were in. (He proactively notified me...I didn't have to call or ask). On my second trip to the store, although there were many people also being helped, once again I was taken care of quickly. My glasses were adjusted to my liking...and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes (this is a big deal when you have a 3-year old with you both times) I can't speak to the dr ofc experience; however, I did want to make it a point to write about my positive Rx sunglasses purchase experience with premier eye. I've never written a review ...but I do read them (hypocritical, I know). ..and I was almost scared off because of the negative ones I read. I'm sure glad I gave them a chance. So, I decided to share my very smooth and extremely positive purchase experience. I now have a great pair of sunglasses as a result. read more

I reall enjoyed my appointment at premiere eye, Lake Nona. From the moment you walk in they feel welcomed and attended to. I didn't have to wait for the doctor, my appointment was at 10:45 and I was intended to within 10 minutes, which was great. Then once I got out I was able to pick my glasses and they had a lot of variety to choose from, I left happy with my experience. read more

I have some very old 14K gold drill mount B&L French frames I wanted to put new lenses into these frames Murphy and staff seemed welling and excited about project I was told up front that it would take a little longer fragility of the frames The little longer turned out to be almost 7 weeks that I felt was too long. I was given several stories as to why the glasses were not back. I felt like I was getting the run around WELL THE GLASSES ARE BACK AND THEY ARE PERFECT Thanks to the whole staff I know they got tired of me calling and going by The wait was worth it thanks Lens not cheap but their pricing was in line and several places some did not want the job read more
