If I can give ZERO star i would THE WORST CUSTOMER service EVER DON'T GO THERE The manger named Sesy is really the WORST PERSON to deal with, treats customers horribly She is very RUDE, BULLYING, unfriendly, unprofessional, treat customers like we have to begging her for services, im sorry, I'm the customer, im giving you business, without us the customers , you don't even have a job !!!!! I don't appreciate the slow customer service they provide. I came in on 3/27 to just pick up my glasses and contacts. I don't understand why I have to wait more than 20 minutes just to collect the products I paid for in advance. After waiting for so long I asked the lady in the front if I can just grab my contacts and glasses.. nothing more (and would only take a minute). Apparently they can't do that for whatever reason. However they will be sure to collect your payment in advance of your contacts and glasses being ready. I knew I should have ordered my contacts and glasses from somewhere else. Even Costco would have been 10x faster. Lesson learned though, I will not be coming here again. read more

Poor management, bad customer service. Make you wait, telling you 5 more minutes turns into 20 more minutes. I recommend Escondido lens crafter read more

Great overall customer service experience from Anastasia, Mara, Lisa, and the doctor. The team was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. 5 stars! read more

"Lessy" made me wait over 30 minutes after telling me that we were 3rd in line to be seen. People continued to come in and I asked when I would be seen. She said that people that are coming for pick up have priority. I guess we would've waited for the constant stream of pick ups with no end in sight. Awful. Also, there hygiene is questionable. Saw lots of hands touches lots of people's faces and no sanitizer. I also witnessed three people use the same device and staff did not wipe down after every use. Hard pass. I'll take my Tom Ford business elsewhere. WOOF that place. read more

Okay so I could not be happier with my experiences here! I have been a customer since the early nineties(!) and moved from Sac town to SD this past decade. The service here has always been wonderful! I have a very particular prescription and need people who truly know their stuff, and this location has them for sure. Shout out to my guys David and especially Felix! They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and so easygoing. Bonus shoutout to the guys in the back for estimating my normal lens time of 1.5 - 2 weeks and having my lenses done in only 5 days! read more

Highly recommended. Great customer service for my general eye exam and contact fitting. Got me in super quick when I had a small piece of wood in my eye and removed it quickly and painlessly! read more

Excellent customer service! I broke my Raybans and they need special tools to replace the screw. I went in everyone was kind and efficient and they fixed them in less time then they quoted! read more

The one doctor is ok... but if you expect LensCrafters to be honest with you.... FORGET IT!!! They will NOT inform you if you are out of network!! They will say that they "accept your insurance" but they will not tell you that you are put-of-network!! You end up paying WAY MORE and won't understand why!!! Then they con you into getting their expensive glasses and tell you "1week but most likely sooner".... YEAH RIGHT!!! And good luck calling to get an update on where your expensive glasses are... one person will say that they shipped and you should get them tomorrow... then tomorrow comes and you call again and the next person says that they are still at the lab and the glasses might be here in 3-4 more days!!! Lesson learned the hard way... no more of this place after we get our expensive glasses... the rest of our large family will go to an In-network place!!! read more

Friendly customer service! All associates ensure they keep an "eye" on the door as customers walk in. (See what I did there?) I got a quick exam - easy scheduling - and placed an order for new reading glasses. Smooth and simple. The "work" grind on the lenses I got was not good at all! Either side of center was blurry so instead of shifting my eyes to read computer screens, I had to constantly tune my head and adjust the angle so I could see. The "near" section of the lenses was ok. The beauty is they made me a whole new set of lenses free of charge! They were more transitional lenses but didn't work for me either. Sooo I went back and they gave me an entire refund of my purchase - and reinstated my insurance costs as well! Again, smooth and simple! read more

LensCrafters - Can't understand what this surgical looking waste is???? - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Oceanside, California

If I was able to provide less of a star, I would! This is my first review and I am blown away at this staff's incompetence and my overall experience. First, I was told that they did not have my lenses in stock and that I would be called first thing to try on my lenses. Over a whole week went by and no phone call. I called 3 times after this and was placed on long holds lasting over 10 minutes. Finally, the third phone call I was told that the shipment box was magically opened when I called and that now they could schedule me for the following week to see if the lenses fit. I had also explained that I need my contact lenses as soon as possible, because my job depends on me having peripheral vision. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 35 years and they treat me as if I am a 6 year old child. The doctor made me feel extremely uncomfortable with his comments about my beautiful eyes and I will be making sure to bring someone with me on my next visit. After I receive my prescriptions, I will never use lens crafters again. If you go to this business, just be aware that you will not receive your product in a timely manner. My guess is had I not called daily, they never would have even followed through until weeks later. read more

I have a hard prescription to fill. I have had my glasses done at 4 other places throughout the years and no one really made them well. I worked with Sesy and Derek and they got it right. I now have glasses I can wear and actually use. It wasn't easy. However they worked their process, remade the glasses to fix the enduring problem I was having and got them right. Too often people say, "that is what the computer says is right" and you are dismissed. Sessy and Derek are people with experience that actually listen and are really experts above and beyond what the computer says. This level of professionalism and expertise should be recognized.Thank you! read more

LensCrafters - Map of location - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Oceanside, California

Had an appointment at 11:20, and my wife at 11:40. With only one other guest at the store we waited until 11:45 before deciding to call it a loss and go on with our day. I did overhear one of the staff say "we need to drive sales"! Meanwhile I'm standing there with a tray of frames waiting to give them money. They eventually called right before 12 to ask where we were, so at minimum they have working phone lines at the establishment lol read more

I came in with some sunglasses that I need to change the lenses due to having a corrective lens installed in my eye. Lisa quickly got the sunglasses and changed and cleaned the lenses while I waited. I couldn't ask for a more polite and helpful person. She understand customer service and loyalty. I am a previous customer and will definitely stay loyal to this shop! read more

I have been going to this location for almost 10 years now, but it has gone to crap in the last few years, and their customer service is at an all-time low. I was not informed that this location is still playing covid police prior to my arrival. Upon arrival, I was asked to take a generic cleaning mask which is not capable of preventing viral transmission. Upon declining to use an improper mask, I was then denied service. Save yourself the trouble and go to any other eye doctor in town who doesn't hire unhealthy and uninformed staff to play covid police. read more

I came in needing temporary contacts because the eyeglass world that I normally go to has still not filled my eyeglass prescription or contact prescription so I am without contacts or glasses. I was using an old pair of glasses in the meantime just so I could see but they were making me feel sick and have a headache. Being that LensCrafters was one of the only places open on a Sunday I came in ready to pay for new glasses or contacts just to hold me over until eyeglass world filled mine. The lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful, when I gave her my prescription and told her the situation she gave me a trail pair of contacts to hold me over. She really saved the day for me. From now on I plan to come here to fill my prescription in the future. Customer service was A+ they gained a new customer today! read more

The manager Sesy is great to work with and quickly helped remedy an unfortunate situation!

Other than the rude ass woman in the front, the rest of the Staff was very nice. One woman in particular went over and beyond for me and I forgot her name, feel bad. I got my glasses replaced and I'm happy with the customer service I received from the rest of the team. read more

I have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years. The manager Sesy and sales associate Derek are very pleasant and kind. There were a few lens defects with my glasses and they kindly assisted me in finding an excellent new pair. Retail is a hard business and there has been many changes since Covid, which include less staff that manufacture frames and lenses. Thank you both for ensuring that I was 100 percent satisfied! Condescending attitude and horrible customer service. The people in front should be fired. Brought my husband here and they acted like used car salesmen. How many bad reviews will it take before something changes. They went over the cost of new glasses without insurance for my hubby knowing full well he had insurance. Why give irrelevant information to a customer. Get it together scum bags. read more

It's no wonder the staff feel comfortable being rude to the customers when the Dr.s themselves are awful. Came in a few months ago to get a contact exam ended up spending almost $1000 on glasses instead because the Dr. Said " You're wasting my time" when I couldn't put in one of my contacts correctly. Then proceeded to hand me some daily contacts and told me to "let me know if it works" I come back a few months later they never wrote down my prescription, the daily contacts didn't work and also there a time limit when you have to come back which I was never told. The professional attitude is disgusting. the Dr. felt comfortable telling me there was "something wrong with me" since I couldn't see with the contacts he wanted to recommend . "It's all math I put in the numbers but it's not working for you. Here try these." Then another appointment comes in late and he says "hurry up. you're wasting my time" What I'm left wondering is why I was charged for an exam when I never got a prescription?? I paid for a test and never saw the answer? So now I still don't have contacts, they want me to pay out of pocket for a new exam since it's been months and this time I can't use insurance?? Wtf Lenscrafters!!!! read more

Great service, great choices. ALL staff very friendly and safe following covid-19 safety. Masks gloves sanitizing!! Eye exam was easy "made appt" prompt. Pre appt follow up call to gather info before I arrived. Staff very helpful with my needs finding glasses and sunglasses that fit. I have a big head, 95% of products do not fit me. 4th time getting replacements over many years. Always great service. Both were ready in a few hours. Final Fitting was quick and easy due to the pre-fitting before lenses were made. Prescriptions done perfect!! My sight all tuned up crisp clean vision!!! Both were perfectly cleaned no finger prints and anti fog applied. New cases as well! Derek was especially helpful picking frames out and pre-fitting. Me and the family will be back again. Son is due for new shades and glasses next. 5 star every time. read more

I have come here on & off for over 10 years. Fairly surprised to see it's turned into a place with a shady used car dealership vibe. Even if you do drop some money here, it sort of seems like you're putting them out when it comes to anything customer-service wise. No skin off my nose when you can literally trip and fall into a dozen other places that do the same thing, I guess. read more

All staff if very kind and helpful, except for one girl. She's not rude but just leaves you at check out says "she'll check on something" and proceeds to help two other customers. Thankfully another associate was able to ask what I needed and when to grab her to return to my check out. Even if they were busy (which I understand) it was clear she did not want to be the one to help me for whatever reason. read more

I'm surprised by the low rated reviews because I had a great experience overall. I had an early morning appt for an eye exam and brought my own frames to be redone. Then I went back and purchased another pair. Granted they could use more help because people can just drop by. But Stacy and Emily were wonderful. And Dr Andy too. read more

*****2nd Review*****Original Review 1-10-2022 3-17-2022 UPDATE*****DO NOT GO HERE***** RIP OFF OUTFIT***** Lens Crafters is not committed to customers service like they say. I took my glasses back due to the less than shoddy workmanship and they have held up my insurance so I can't get another pair of glasses. I've called numerous times and just received a lot of lip service. So in the meantime I'm wearing my old prescription. Now, I give LensCrafters my FIVE STAR Terrible Business Award. read more

I don't appreciate the glacier like customer service and they provide. I came in on April 9 after an initial visit to describe what I wanted. After reciving the entitled attitude like thy were doing me a favor. (should have been a clue) I was asked to come 10 min early to fill out paperwork, so I did. I don't understand why I had to wait more than 10 min to be acknowledged 30 min to be directed to the appointment lobby. Standing in the middle of the show room after being ignored by the guy who set up the appointment, I eventually stood at the front desk until someone took pity on me for waiting so long. I'm not a big fan of multi tasking but 15 seconds to hand me a clipboard and point me to the Dr. lobby was too much of an imposition for these people. I have Kaiser, I could have had this visit for FREE. Here I was going to shell out over $800 for new lenses and exam out of pocket. The only thing to come out of this is now I have a place to recommend to people I don't like. read more

Needed a repair job on my Rx glasses. Savannah took care of it quickly while we waited. She did a great job.

Came in about an hour before close looking to get my prescription filled. I'm new to glasses and the entire staff have made it comfortable and easy for me. David helped me out and was great at explaining the process. The tech(I think her name is Clarissa?) was able to custom fit my lenses in like 6 min. Highly recommend this location read more

When I came by, it was very chill and calm inside and I didn't have any problems at all. Kind of surprised by the low reviews. The people who assisted me were really nice and knew what they were talking about. I brought in glasses from another retailer, which they adjusted the plastic frames for. I love that about LensCrafters! There was virtually no wait and my glasses are doing great! read more

Generally not happy with LensCrafters. I've come here for eye exams on the past. Recently my hubby came here for an eye exam. I feel like they are always out to price gauge you for glasses. What I definitely don't like is how they openly put down other businesses claiming they aren't the best and their products are supreme when they aren't. I know they are trying to make a sale but shelling me it $600 for frames and glasses... you bet we are gonna shop around! Also, I don't trust the eye doctor's. They all seem to have different opinions and aren't very consistent. I don't have faith in the doctor's at all. This particular lens crafters lost my chart and my prescription info on contacts! I was more than annoyed and considered filing a complaint against them for violating HIPPA patient privacy. How do you loose a chart?! Needless to say, I never went back! I didn't even get a contact lens prescription even though o paid for the exam! What a joke! Not to mention LensCrafter broke a pair of my glasses when trying to adjust them and tried to make me pay for a replacement. That was very unprofessional! Anyway, come for an exam if you must, but this is definitely not a patient centered practice... reminds me of a hearing aide dispensary- just out to make money. read more
