Came here to get my first glasses after getting my eye exam done. They can cover a lot if you have insurance which was really great! I had Melanie she was so sweet about everything because it was my first time having glasses. Answered all the questions I needed just to make sure I understood everything clearly! Getting my choice of glasses was pretty quick, I wanted feminine style and simple :). Even then getting it done only took them less than 20 minutes in the lab so it was really convenient! So glad I came here! Great experience overall :) read more

I was here yesterday and it was a so so experienced. When booking the appointment I had no explanation about my eyes being dilated or whatsoever. I felt like I was forced to pay the extra fee for a machine to take a picture of my eyes or I was gonna have to sit around the mall for hours because I wasn't able to drive. NONE of this was explained before hand. The customer service overall wasn't a great experience. read more

Cookie cutter experience with sleazy up sales tactics, topped off its disgruntled gen Z customer service. You have the choice to dilate your eyes then wait around so you can drive yourself home hours later, or pay extra to have the fancy machine do the same thing with some fancy technology. NONE of which was explained when making the appointment. Who wants to pay extra when it's something that's included the exam??? Then, all of the gen Z staff were miserable! This is way jobs are being replaced with AI! read more

This is the best customer service and selection I've received while obtaining prescription eyewear. Monique was so very precise when measuring me for fit and very helpful in helping to select a nice frame. I appreciated Debhie, optician, input and kindness too! Highly recommend. read more

Came in to get my eyeglasses fixed, and Erica jumped right to it and fixed them for me in a couple minutes. Great service from the store.

The Doctor and assistant were both kind but the storefront was one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had. Erika the sales associate was very short with me and had little patience. My advice is to find glasses you like in store then go on their website to purchase or shop the competition. Here's the breakdown: the frames and lenses in store were $370 (because they did not apply my insurance correctly), online doing it myself on their website was $180 (when my insurance was entered in correctly) and at a competitor's website was only $98 for both lenses and frames the exact pair I looked at in store. You do the math, which option do you think I chose? I would go back for an exam but NEVER to purchase frames or lenses. I am so glad I got a refund and saved $272. read more

Liza is an amazing sales representative! It was only my family and I in the store when she greeted us and asked if I needed anything. I let her know I had an exam back in March but I came back to try on new eyeglasses (brought my husband so I can get an opinion on how I look) lol! She was obviously doing her own task but I did NOT feel rushed on finding eyeglasses. I probably tried on 10 pairs and she let me do my own thing. I loved that because it gives me time to figure out my top 3 choices. She also let me know there were other women eyeglasses sections in the store. So that gave me more options. In the end... I found the eyeglasses that I loved! She made the transaction super quick & easy! I also got mine SAME DAY and picked it up within an hour. Totally would come back to her! read more

I went here looking for contacts and left the same day with a 5-day trial set! Nora explained everything about both contacts and glasses. She was very detailed about what insurance would and wouldn't cover. I want to note that I brought in a printed copy of my glasses prescription, so all they had to do was a contacts fitting. I received a one-month supply of contacts 3 days later. Thank you LensCrafters for your kindness and quick service. read more

We called to make my sister an appointment and so now we have just got a call saying that we have to pay in full for our frames? I just went somewhere and got mine paid in full from my insurance so why this place won't cover it and it's telling me I have to wait till February to get my frames covered is beyond me. Half of this wouldn't even have been a problem had you have just told me when I was on the phone prior to making the appointment but instead you'd rather rope me into potentially get more money and more tips or something it's weird what you guys are doing here just trying to get money every other way be legit and people would actually come here! You see why your place has so many openings once you start getting down into the nooks and crannies of the places. This place isn't a good place it's obviously very money hungry all they care about is money they don't care about people actually seeing if you want to go to a good eye care place try out Eyecare Galleria they are freaking amazing!! This place I wouldn't take my dogs to get their glasses at. They talk to you is if you're stupid I mean come on if you don't take my insurance that's fine but you do and you're still not covering anything for it what the actual hell are you doing as a healthcare provider?! Piss off I'm taking my business elsewhere . I swear if I were you save yourself some time and a headache because they won't cover anything even if your insurance covers a full set of frames for every person in your household. We're so far so that's why I didn't take her to the one that I absolutely love is because she's about 40 miles away and we would have to drive 40 miles there and 40 miles back to bring her back over this way where we are just to bring her to our appointment. But guess what we're doing now driving 80 miles to actually get her a f****ng appointment that isn't gonna have her pay for everything out of pocket at Christmas time leaving her broke to get nothing for her own kid for Christmas thank you very much I'll take my place that covers it and doesn't leave us hanging and screwed and high and dry. Once again Eyecare galleria is an amazing place Eye-care galleria yall!! Don't know who I spoke to but it was two broads around 30 to 80 ? Years old it sounded like anywhere between there they could've been. Going from the actually amazing eye care place to this you can tell when a place actually cares about their patients or they just care about money. Mr. crabs is here he doesn't live under the sea or work under the sea Mr. Krabs works here greedy for money money money... Also the only reason it even got one star is because I had to give it a star or else it would've deserved zero stars just know that. Thanks for absolutely no help and thanks for not even telling me until I almost had a fee from your stupid appointment. I mean someone not being covered would kinda be something you tell them before they make an appointment at your stupid place. You so deserve this long review I sit here for about 45 minutes brewing on this review for you you've deserved it sweeties. Two very older ladies that I talk to on the phone both days. I'll start by saying I was apprehensive about going to an eye doctors office located inside a mall. I can feel the side eye from some of you for me writing that but in all my almost 40 years ... I've never gone to one inside a mall. I didn't even realize this place was in the mall until I pulled up for my appointment. I was in the parking lot baffled when my GPS told me I arrived and I was sitting outside of JC Penny! Glad I decided to go in. Now that I've gotten that out the way let's talk about the experience. The first time I came for my eye appointment a few months ago, it went well. Nothing stood out that I can recall but things went fine and they had some fancy tools to check my eyesight. When I was done, I decided not to get any glasses at that time. Now that my benefits have refreshed I went back in to look for my same glasses. When we walked in, Angelina greeted us with warmth and kindness even though she was working with another guest. When she was done she helped us through the process, explained our benefits, and helped us out with some glasses. Half way thru, she had to transition us to someone else and I was low key sad because I enjoyed working with her but then Jessica came and took over and was just as amazing! Easy to talk to, patient, kind and relatable. She made the process of getting our glasses ordered fun and simple. She also set appropriate expectations on when we should expect our glasses to arrive. I'm really happy with the experience today! These ladies are awesome! read more

I went here once before and received exceptional service so I returned again and big mistake. I called to check on the status of my order and the lady seemed confused and wasn't able to focus on the questions I was asking her. I'm assuming she was doing something else while talking to me but I can't be sure. I then speak to her supervisor who instantly became rude and started talking over me and was extremely rude. I unfortunately canceled my order and will be headed to one of their competitors. read more

Erika was our technician. She was very knowledgeable and well informed on our insurance coverage and how to work within the limits. She was VERY patient. Dr. exam was very thorough. Outstanding frame selection for every price point. read more

The doctor was very nice and attentive. The staff that try to hard sell/trick you into paying waaaay to much for glasses are another level of predator. I don't mind shelling out money, but a lot of people can't afford to pay what they try to charge by slipping in extras you didn't ask for. It was the tactics that pissed me off. I had to get firm with the sales person about removing the ludicrous charges for things I never asked for. A couple hundred bucks for no reflective coating for instance. They tried to sell me $800 glasses (after insurance), when $140 is what I ended up paying. Scammers obviously getting a commission. I will get better glasses somewhere that doesn't try to take advantage of people. read more

I don't say this often, but this is easily ranked among one of my worst customer-service experiences EVER. I was in an emergency situation; I traveled to Fairfield on business and broke my glasses on the flight. I was referred to LC with the assumption that they could make me a set of "emergency" glasses the same day. Needless to say, things did not turn out as expected... Between an AMAZINGLY high price, the elongated time-delays, and the outright RUDENESS of the young lady I was dealing with, it was just a very bad experience. I had to sit through a full eye-exam; and when it came time to order the glasses I was told it would be 7-10 working day's MINIMUM before I could get glasses... SERIOUSLY?!?! I can get this speed from any optometrist. I am trying to drive! I need glasses now! I asked the young woman (blue hair, nose ring, and a bad attitude) if I came here for no reason... She looked me straight in the face and replied, "Well, I guess you did." WOW. In short, I just left. There was no point in continuing the quest, and paying over $500 for something I could get in the same time-frame for a quarter of the price. Add in the way I was treated, and... Well, you can guess. I will never darken their door again. Youe mileage may vary, but I have nothing nice to say about this location. read more

The optometrist is very nice and knowledgeable. The staff is helpful and the office is clean. The office has modern technology.

I set up my appointment by phone which was very easy and the person I spoke with was very friendly. I arrived for my appointment filled out my first time paper work. Bernice helped us through the process and was very helpful. There was another lady that did my eye testing which was very nice and explained the test as we did them. From there to the eye doctor Liana who was very thorough and explained everything in detail also very nice as well. I ordered two pairs of glasses, 1 regular and 1 pair of sunglasses. Great customer service and great experience give it a try. read more

Came to my local go to LensCrafters to purchase replacement prescription lenses for my Ray Ban sunglasses. I am a regular customer of this store. The Staff are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of frames changes periodically, which is nice. I recently went in again for my yearly frames and lenses. So far, I have gotten some Ralph Laurens in store, which are great, and loaded with every option for my progressive prescription. Next, got a pair of Oakleys. Expensive and worth every penny! My Prada lenses were done in house (this month) Great! fast and right. My Ray Bans came in fast and were perfect as always. It is nice having an in store lab to make some of these happen in a timely manner. As a physician, I need my eyes to be right on all of the time. I hope they keep the lab in store, and not get rid of it like what happened at the Concord location. read more

Price shop before buying here. LensCrafters quoted between $450 - $700 for a pair of glasses, depending on the progressive lenses, which included the price of the frame ($167). Found the exact same pair on Amazon for $43. Bought those and took them to Costco. Costco only charged $185 for the lenses. read more

Terrible! I bought prescription raybans here & paid an additional $200+ for the blue light blocking to be added on. My glasses total were over $400. Two years later, I went to a different optometrist for an exam & my optometrist said there isn't any blue light filtering in my raybans. Seriously?! LensCrafters is a total rip off. Would never recommend! read more

I've been coming to LensCrafters for years now and I've seen associates come and go whenever I visit. However, their change over rate does not effect the service any of them has given me. I read from another reviewer that she had a copy of her prescription on her cell phone and the employee wouldn't honor it because it was on her cell phone and declined when the customer said she could e-mail it. Understand that this is a prescription and to fill a prescription based on a picture from a cell phone or an e-mail that may be adulterated is illegal and against the law. If the story is sketchy I sure as hell ain't gonna put my job on the line for the convenience of someone else. I've had issues with my frames bending from work incidents and they've always been able to help me re align the frames to my face. BTW, they did move their location to the first floor. It looks nice... I'm gonna have to grab me another pair before my VSP is up. read more

I enjoyed my appointment with LensCrafters. LensCrafters has a large variety of glasses to choose from and let us not forget the fabulous sales they continue to have at their stores. Their equipment seemed to be very updated. ( I thought this was an excellent feature). It looked so futuristic. I can only speak for this location but the employees here are very customer service oriented and very knowledgeable. The doctor was very patient with me when I couldn't decide on getting glasses or contact lenses. I like LensCrafters! read more

I was a regular customer here for about 5 years and stricter policies turned my off. The people are nice but spending more than $600 per year. Tell me if this sounds fair? I purchased these new HD lenses progressive lenses for a reading and distance vision in one lens in August of last year.. I came back to the store with the glasses complaining that they make me nauseous when I looked between the distant lend and the reading lens. The doctor there told me it takes some getting used to give it a couple of more weeks. I tried without success. I used my old glasses. I remember I had a warranty and went back today and asked to exchange the more expensive HD lens for the cheaper ones that I had before. There policy says I can get new HD lens only I have to pay for the cheaper ones that actually work for my eyes. Very very unfair !!! read more

Horrible customer experience. I brought my expensive Persol frames in for prescription sunglasses. They broke them in the process. They would not replace them or pay for them to be replaced . They did give me one of theirs but it was of poor quality and after only a couple wears they're all stenches out and fall off my face. When I brought these back they said there was nothing they could and kicked me out. I've been a repeat customer because they're the only eyeglasses shop in the area but never again. You'd think they'd want to hold on to every customer they have given the recession but clearly this person could care less. read more

No doctor on sight... it's 11am. Not able to fill a prescription nor able to print me out my prescription because it expired in May

First I waited for 1 hour for the manager after meeting for 1/2 will a lenscrafter customer service person. I guess they thought I was going to leave. I took my Coach glasses, purchased in 2018 for new lens prescription. I received the lens back in a timely manner. However I noticed the glasses were different. I called Lencrafters in Concord where I purchased the glasses and got the skew #. The skew# was the same on my glasses but the glasses do not match the skew #. My skew # is a total different style. In Summary, the glasses do not match the skew #. They switch out the arms for a solid color when frames where Tortoise all around. When I showed the Manager Bernice the difference and the difference Skew numbers she could not explain. The correct skew number was printed on the new prescription but the glass are sun glasses not eyeglasses. Manager gave me her card and left it to me to handle. All she said was they don't switch out arms. And could not explain why the style of glasses and the skew # documented by Lenscrafters are different than was returned to me. I have documentation from Lencrafters in WCR. How customer service does realize that people keep receipts - scare me. But they messed with the wrong analyst. The frames I left at Lencrafters are not the frames I got back. Lenscrafters in Fairfield at Solano Mall have a racket - steeling arms with designer names and putting on cheap glasses and selling on the side. Something is going on Shady. When I pay over 300 for glasses, I know what my glasses look like and it is not what was returned to me. I was so happy with better visiton that I didn't notice they switch the arms on my glass. It took me a minute to discover because but I gathered the documentation. I am going to do what the Fairfield police investigator suggested and that is to take it to Better Business Bureau, Lenscrafter Executives. I want my glasses back like I provided them and I want my money back. I should have known something was shady when they gave me a Versait case for Coach glasses but I didn't argue because I have the original coach case. I just thought they were being nice but what they were doing was trying to distract me. DON'T TAKE DESIGNER FRAMES TO LENSCRAFTERS IN FAIRFIELD AT SOLANO MALL. I normally love lens crafters! I use to live in SoCal and they always have excellent customer service. After all day of calling and no one picking up I made a trip to Fairfield since I live in Vacaville. Well, I can see why they don't pick up the phone. We walk in no one greets or acknowledged us. Finally a man asked to help us and I told him I was interested in getting contacts and wanted a quote of how much I could be paying. Just a rough estimate. Him and another women looked at me like I didn't know what I was asking? Like they never get people who come in and ask for a price for a fitting? This place made my decision of the place I'm going to choose. If I ever use lens crafters again I know it won't be this location. Thanks for being rude you made it easy for me to choose. read more

Do not go here. Dr. Mostardi is terrible at her job. She was very rude and unprofessional. I should have know how badly this visit was going to go from the beginning. She was unnecessarily irritated that I couldn't remember the exact date of my last eye exam. I sort of estimated when it had been and then when we figured out the exact date, I was only a couple of months off but she still felt the need to point out that I had (unintentionally) given her incorrect information. She rushed through the appointment. I didn't feel I had the proper time to get a good prescription. She even remarked that one of my eyes had changed a lot from my old prescription. Thought that was odd but oh well. I ordered glasses elsewhere and when I received them they were totally off. Felt like I was wearing someone else's glasses. Took them in to a different LensCrafters to make sure the prescription in the glasses matched what I was prescribed. It did so I got my eyes rechecked elsewhere and unsurprisingly, my prescription was totally off. Save your time and money and look elsewhere. Now I'm out additional money because of all this and I am very annoyed. I wish I had read the reviews before I went in but we all live and learn. read more

While one employee was helpful when I was trying on Ray Ban sunglasses, when I was ready to buy, another employee flatly refused to let me buy sunglasses because I didn't have a paper copy of my prescription. I offered to show her the cell phone photo I had of my 2-month old prescription, which I have recently (successfully) ordered Warby Parker's with, or email her a copy, but she said that this was "against the law" and that she did not have email. She told me that the manager was the only one who could approve this newfangled "email" prescription, but she would not be in the store for several hours. Needless to say, this store lives in the past, and I ended up spending over $200 at an online retailer. Wouldn't waste my time going back. read more

Went here because I broke my glasses and needed to get exam in order to order glasses online. Arrived early to fill out the paperwork and only waited a few minutes to be taken back to do the pretesting before seeing the doctor. The gentleman who helped me, Dallas, was kind and everything was handled promptly. But thats where the experience took a 180. After coming out of the preliminary screening I proceeded to wait 45 minutes to see the doctor. They have you take your contacts out before you go out into their tiny waiting room. Im literally sitting in a waiting room squinting at everything until the doctor decided to take me back No one checked on me or let me know that they were running behind when I arrived. No one thanked me for my patience and it wasn't even busy. And a lot of the employees were just sitting around, it wouldn't have pained any of them to communicate what was happening. This was the Saturday before Easter, its not like there is a rush to get eye exams this weekend. The male doctor I saw was cool and my rx is spot on. However, most of their retail staff was disappointing. The experience makes you feel like once you tell the staff that you're not going to buy any glasses today they pretend like you don't exist. Furthermore, whats the point of having a 5 pm appointment if you're not going to be seen until 10 til 6. The entire ordeal was upsetting. Unfortunately this was the only place that took my insurance who had appointments available to schedule the next day. 5 stars for the Doctor and Dallas. Everyone else was disappointing. read more
