My eye doctor was actually great, shout out to Dr. Quach! I highly recommend her to anyone. Also want to shout out Italo for his amazing help! LensCrafters will gets 5 stars. This review is to bring attention to the staff and Dr Trinh the owner. She would not make a simple amendment to my prescription that Costco needed to clarify the specific type of lens. Of course, she knows better or is just unwilling to help. Gonna rethink coming back here next year. You should too. read more

I went in there yesterday with my glasses in pieces and asked if they could fix them. Mind you I called ahead and they said they could. I handed them my glasses and then got told I needed "special screws" and that they couldn't fix them. I went to America's Best today and they fixed them in less than 5 minutes. If your glasses break I wouldn't recommend going here to have them fixed. read more

I walked into the store and I noticed there were two sales associates helping customers, but there was a young lady sitting at the counter not helping anyone looking at her computer. I walked around the store looking and trying on glasses, and even after 5 minutes, I still wasn't acknowledged or helped. I walked out! You just lost a potential customer. read more

Usually I have had pretty good customer service here. This time my bifocal was measured WAY too high. Even the guy who helped me when I was picking them up said "whoa, that looks pretty high". He said because it was only the bifocal it should be back in a few days. I called and they said they are not in yet, but should be a few more days. So the original full set and lenses of glasses only took 4 days but now it is a week and a half. I think I need to find another place. Maybe I will try Warby Parker next time. read more

The customer service is great. Of course they try to coerce you into buying glasses you do not necessarily need. My reading glasses prescription was so low, i could get reading glasses at Walmart, but the lenscrafter's personnel kept insisting i buy the glasses. I have been going to Lenscrafters for 2 years now.....maybe it's the styles i pick out, but i can never get glasses same day or within a week. Customer service within the store has always been great. Just not sure about the company itself. Ordering contacts online was horrible as i requested they contact my doctor for the prescription as this was an option they had. I thought it would be useful since I was on an extended business trip and out of the state, so I didn't have my prescription on me. Well, they never followed up with the in house optometrist and ended up canceling my order-needless to say, i didn't get my contacts on time. I don't think I will be using this company again. But if using LensCrafters , this location has great customer service. read more

This place needs improvement in every aspect of customer service. My main issue is bait and switch. I have NEVER, in all my years of getting exams, fitted for contacts, and purchasing glasses, have ever experienced an optometry business that barters with prices on prescription glasses. Mind you, I've never paid (and would never) pay over $1000 for prescription progressive glasses. The last few years I've gone to Walmart and Target and paid from $280-$410 for glasses. Lens Crafters claimed to have a "special 50% off" but even with that, they were overpriced. I also have insurance, so the out of pocket amount didn't make sense. I also had 3 follow up visits to get fitted for the right contacts. On my 2nd follow up, the front desk woman was claiming I would need to pay another $45 for mono vision, stating that they are similar to multifocal, which isn't true. They are still standard lenses but they make one lens prescription for reading and the other for distance. I already spoke to Catherine over the phone and explained I haven't even received a prescription yet, I'm just testing trial lenses! Needless to say when I showed up for my appt. I endured another long wait past my scheduled time. After this experience, I will not comeback. And if you're looking for frames and progressive, transition, high index frames, I paid $156 - $186 online with Zeelool and they do accept fsa. You're welcome. read more

I'm extremely frustrated with how James spoke to me this morning. I began our conversation politely, offering to provide my personal information so he could look up my last eye exam. His response was, "Why would I need your information?" I explained that he would need it to answer my questions, but he kept interrupting and showed no interest in helping. When I asked to speak to someone else, he replied, "There's no one else here but me, so just tell me what you need." I told him I'd prefer to call back later when someone else was available. First of all, I am deaf and I am calling them at that place through interpreter relays. I tried to order more eye contacts 3month. Somehow, Some ladies who work there and they were very rude at me and they did gave Bad attitude to interpreters relays. She won't give me the name, but she's very bitch! They were not friendly to Americans with Disabilities like me. They ignored the American with Disabilities Act, so I will report to BBB for that location on their brief of discrimination against persons with disabilities. I have mixed reviews on this LensCrafters store. I have gone there for glass adjustments and they have been always very helpful. I used to buy my glasses and frames from this store, however the prices are growing to astronomical prices as of late. It cost over $300 dollars for a cheap frame and prescription glasses. I recently found a place that will do them under $80 dollars, and there a lot of places on the internet with special offers. I only give this 3 stars since the pricing is so high, however I have found the customer support to be pretty helpful. 3 stars for now! read more

First time here and Dr Trinh was helpful and very friendly! However, the other employees working here were so rude. I walked in and was the only customer there. I went to the front desk to be assisted and there were two employees, one of them being a female manager and for about 10 minutes, I was standing there waiting to be approached and they completely ignored me, just kept on talking and talking. The staffs were welcoming and greeted us as we entered the store. She gave us a quick layout of the store and gave us a tray to place the potential frames my daughter took a liking to. We took our time browsing and didn't feel rushed at all. We were able to pull frames off and out of display cases without the hassle of requesting it from an employee. The store is clean and the layout makes it easy to move around. They really have great selection and brands and we were able to get the special promotion they had going on. Save this lady $$$. Both Dr. Carter and Dr. Tran are excellent doctors. They are both patient and detailed. The last time my husband went he saw Dr. Tran and he said that she could be a standup comedian. He was thoroughly tested and educated on the test results. He was going to see an ophthalmologist regarding his eye pain. He could not get in for several weeks so I made an appointment for him with Dr. Tran. He was able to get in the next day and she did many tests including a retina scan. It turns out he has dry eyes and now he doesn't have to wait weeks to get in with the other doctor. We are both very happy with the care that we have received here. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this location! I went in to get my yearly checkup for my eyes and try out contacts again, being that I'm mostly an eyeglasses wearer. I scheduled with Dr. Trinh and couldn't be happier with that placement. She listened to me explain how nervous I was about wearing contacts and how creeped out I am by things/people touching my eyeballs (haha) and reassured me that she'd walk me through the process, and took time to calm my nerves. After examination Dr. Trinh told me there was not major change from last year. So I got the prescription and made new glasses at target. I had a major headache upon wearing the new glasses, fell walking in the park, and my computer screen became concaved. Went to Lensecrafter doubled checked my glasses, and they met the exam prescription perfectly. Then I found out my original left eye lense was 375, new left eye lense is 475. That's a major change. My guess is that lensecrafters somehow input the wrong number in the computer? Or the doctor didn't know what she was doing? I remember vividly that she told me there was no major change from one year ago. Terrible examination work by lensecrafters, and Target made glasses exactly to the prescription. lensecrafters offered me re-examination; I declined. Target offered to pay back my out of pocket portion (240 usd) if I return the glasses, so I did. But I lost my insurance money. Then I went to costco got two pairs according to my 14 months old prescription for 249 usd. Thank costco for saving the day! read more

This place is Unorganized. They sent me 30 minutes away to pick up glasses I couldn't even get. They told me just to show up at Victoria Gardens and they would handle it. My glasses developed a huge crack in the middle of the lens about 2 months after I got it. They want me to pay 200 bucks to replace it. I don't think it's reasonable for me to pay for something that is clearly a material defect. This lens is supposed to be a polycarbonate material that is used in bulletproof glass. I'm so happy with my experience at this location. I started my eye exam at ontario location and wanted a frame that isn't in store, so they told me they can't order it and I need to do it by my own. I went to add my prescription lens at chino hills location and Im glad that I did bc they end up helping me buying the frame again with around 90$ cheaper. Decided to replace my glasses with new lenses and frames so i went to this lens crafters in the shoppes at chino hills! unfortunately at the time i came, their system was down and it took days for them to process my glasses and get the payment through. I normally get my replacement done in less than 6 hours but this took 3 days. However it's not their fault, and they were very kind to me so the wait wasn't so bad. Paid about ~$118 with my insurance and parking isn't so bad on weekdays. The only thing i'd have to say is for you to take initiative and call them when your glasses are due that day. They updated me hours after when it was already done so I picked it up myself hours earlier. read more

This has been my worst experience buying sunglasses. 1. They tried to sell me displayed sunglasses with scratches on the lenses and loose hinges. When I asked for a new pair, the employee stated that they only carry 1 pair in the store, okay then I asked if I could get a new pair ship to store which they were ok with. 2. I ended up ordering 2 pairs and was told that they would be ready for pick up within 5 to 10 days. After checking with them after a week I got a call 5 days later stating my sunglasses are ready. Drove to the store to find out that only one of them was ready. 3. The one that was ready came in a fabric pouch with a receipt wrapped around it. I then asked if I could have the original box that comes with it and I was told no because that how the sunglasses come to the store. Really?
