There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was great....I think the owner was helping out. Plenty of tv's to watch sports and daily specials. Plenty of options if you don't want wings. I personally could not decide so a friend and I split the steamed shrimp special and wings. Can't go wrong. And we ordered a dozen wings and got 2 flavors. Wings were really good and so were the shrimp. Not overly seasoned or cooked. Everyone got something different and we all left full and happy. Someone ordered the homemade chips for the table and they were delicious. I would definitely go back. Food was good, service was friendly. read more

Meh, despite the good food and the convenient location (this Lendy's is much closer to me than their General Booth location), the service - particularly the understaffing, is a problem. With Misako closed until mid-October (the owners are on a much-deserved vacation), this was an excellent opportunity to try out this Lendy's. Upon arrival, they were setting up for karaoke night (Tuesdays) and there were a few regulars already seated at the bar. This Lendy's appeared bigger than Anchor Allie's that was previously here. It's more spacious - full of games, TV's and the like. I decided to sit at the bar where I was greeted by their bartender, Courtney. Courtney was nice enough, but she was battling a neck injury which, I later learned, was the result of her, "falling down the stairs." That sucks, and she toughed it out simply by showing up for work. I remained patient throughout, but I was left to wonder what caused her to fall down the stairs. Anyways, Courtney took my drink order - Coke and a bottle of Bud Light. I received the Coke almost immediately, but after a few minutes she remembered the beer. She apologized, but it was all good since I was still looking at the menu (the long wait for the beer did factor into me not ordering another round, though). I eventually ordered a dozen wings and potato skins, and proceeded to relax and wait. In the meantime, that's when I noticed Courtney was the only person working the FOH, while the kitchen had one dude doing all the cooking (he was also the food runner). The food took a little time, but actually came out sooner than I anticipated. I chose garlic parm wings, and they were just as good as the wings I've had at the original Lendy's. The potato skins were also excellent, although the cheese could've been melted more. Regardless, the food remained the high point of my visit. I didn't finish either item, so I asked for a togo box and my tab at the same time. This is where my visit became an extended stay as Courtney continued to place me at the back of the line. Courtney took about five minutes to give me a togo box. She gave it to me without my tab, which meant I had to wait again for her to get that to me. In the meantime, she had to knock out orders for the other customers, then had to turn around and take an order for a big party who sat down behind me. The wait was understandable, but I did become antsy. After all that, Courtney gave me my tab, and I plopped down my card immediately so she'd know I was ready to get out of there. The check and my card sat at the edge of the bar for a few minutes before she came back for it. When she did, she ran my card, then proceeded to pour drinks for customers while waiting for the machine to print my receipt. I began to take issue when she stopped to chat with the regulars at the bar as if they were the only people in the restaurant. That lasted a good 5 minutes, then she proceeded to ignore me when one patron from the big party walked up to the bar to ask her for something. At this point, I finally blurted out, "May I have my check? PLEASE?" She had a look on her face that said, "S**t, I forgot," while I gave back a stare similar to Ice Cube in Friday when he said, "Bye, Felicia." Courtney ripped the receipt from that machine, gave that & returned my card, then quickly muttered, "Thank you for your patience." I was ready to turn into a-hole Justin and then gtfo there, but I said nothing, signed my receipt and proceeded to get the hell out. The real issue with this Lendy's is understaffing. My visit was a combination of events - dinner service, happy hour, and karaoke night. How are you not staffed for that? I could tell Courtney knows what's up, but leaving her alone (with just one cook) while working injured obviously resulted in subpar service. At the same time, taking extended time to chat with regulars pissed me off because I was obviously not important enough to receive the same attention. Lendy's, your food is good. But running understaffed and providing inconsistent service is garbage. I want to evenly split my visits to this shopping center between Misako, Lendy's, and Mommy Mom, but omitting Lendy's as a viable option has become easier after this visit. I'll give Lendy's another shot down the line, but if there's only 1 FOH person again when that day comes, I'm walking out. JV read more

Looking for a place to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and watch a game? Try out Lendy's Cafe on Shore Drive. When you first walk in, they have plenty of seating and a chill vibe. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive. Their menu offers a wide range of options, from burgers and wings to wraps and salads. I went with a burger this time, and it was enjoyable; my friend loved the buffalo chicken wrap he got. The best food they have, though, is their wings, so I highly recommend giving them a try. They offer a variety of sauces as well. If you're looking for a spot to hang out with friends or watch football games and you find yourself on Shore Drive, check them out! read more

Lendy's Cafe - Black and Blue Burger (w/out bun! YUMmmmmmm! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

From the closure of Archor Allies-Shore Drive emerges Lendy's 2.0. We came to visit during their first week of being opened. It was lunchtime and we ordered the beef nachos. Big screens are installed, perfect for watching sports. There's a digital jukebox for music, Golden Tee for the golf fanatics, and a couple of crane games for the kids. Since then we have come back for their famous wings...Garlic Parmesan, of course. My husband ordered Spicy Teriyaki, which were surprisingly good since I'm not a big fan of super spicy foods (but I'm trying). Recently, my husband and I decided to come in for dinner because it's Loco Moco Monday!!! This dish is a 2.0 exclusive menu item. This Hawaiian dish is 2 over-easy eggs on a burger patty with gravy on a heap of white rice. Ask for extra garlic to level up the yummyness. It wasnt busy due to the cold weather. This is a casual local bar. Hope it develops a good regular clientele like the original location. Stop by and give it a try. read more

Nice local sports bar. Clean and plenty of TV's. Haven't been disappointed with any of the food on my visits. They are famous for their wings, and they were large and tasty. Paired with their homemade ranch dipping sauce you can't go wrong. The staff was friendly and attentive, if you talk with them long enough you'll find out some great off the menu options you could get. read more

Went on a date and we both ordered a burger and fries. They got my dates order all wrong (he asked for no veggies on his burger and they brought it out with onions), so I sat there and had to eat my food in front of him while he waited on them to remake his burger. The fries were very tasty! That is, until I bit into something so hard when I took a bite of one of them that I thought I cracked my tooth! We continued eating, only for my date to bite into something really hard in HIS burger. Needless to say, we did not eat any more of the food and the owner took both of the meals off of the bill. I appreciate that the owner did not charge us, but they kinda need to get it together in there. Seems like it could be good, but can't be leaving with a toothache.... read more

My first time there and we grabbed takeout. Great service and great food. I'll definitely be back

They used to sell their wings on this side of Virginia Beach out of a local brewery. So that inspired me to go to their restaurant down off of general Booth somewhere. Delicious! I like how they have the kids menu. The food was good! They always talked about trying to find a location on this side of Virginia Beach and I'm so glad they did! They know how to crisp up the wings nicely! I have to admit, I would have liked a little bit more seasoning on the garlic parmesan wings but that's okay! Right now, they're selling beer on tap probably some bottles too! But I got my wings to go. They still have an awesome menu and their cheesesteak is supposed to be really good. I always stick to the wings because well, they know how to crisp them up right! And I'll be honest, sometimes I really like having honey old bay wings! The restaurant is nice and big! There's a few video games if you want to play them. Good for kids. Good for families! And it definitely looks like a local's hangout where they're going to be hanging out at the bar. You're not going to be disappointed if you eat here! read more

We came here today for lunch walked in at 12:30 and left at 2:30. There was only one server/bartender on duty and it wasn't busy at all. The server took our order and wrote it down. Came back five minutes later and asked us to verify our order again, and repeated the sides incorrectly again. This happened three times. She even admitted she couldn't read her own writing. After an hour wait we asked where are food was and she said it was coming.. Meanwhile four take out orders were processed and paid for while we still waited. The one order was a corned beef sandwich with Swiss cheese only and tater tots. The other the catfish dinner. When she finally brought our order it was what looked like a Philly steak, no cheese and fries that looked inedible. When she was told this was the wrong order she said a Rueben comes on a hoagie roll. I advised her that wasn't what was ordered and she said "I don't know what happened." I advised I didn't want the meal and no apology or explanation was given. My friend's Cole slaw was in edible and the catfish was hot indicating it had just been made. She kept going in the back and not attending to the customers in the restaurant. She seemed out of it the entire time. We advised an older couple to just leave as they probably would also be waiting an hour. This was undoubtedly the worst experience I have encountered at an establishment. It is a shame because I live nearby and it's in a great location. I would advise the owners to look at your employees and realize customers pay your bills and maintain your business. I understand a shortage of staff but there was no excuse whatsoever for what transpired today. No apology whatsoever. read more

Needs better food. We in the neighborhood were hopeful. The worst fries I've ever had.

My Girlfriend and I had been wanting to try Lendy's since we heard it was back and we have never had it before Among many options on the menu, we were happy to see that ordering all flats was an option for the wings because that's not always an option. The wings tasted great! They had amazing flavor and were so juicy! They also have a great portion size of seasoned fries which were delicious Overall, it was a good sports bar experience with friendly attentive bartenders and top tier wings read more

Ate lunch there yesterday. Had one of the best cheeseburgers of my life. I took a lb of perfectly seasoned large shrimp home for dinner. The other 3 people at the table had the same experience. Our initial server was the owner, Kent, who was his usual convivial self. My first time at #2 and it won't be the last. Also, happy we can access Door Dash when necessary. Don't be a stranger. read more

My daughter and I were in there lastnight 4/22/25. One of the cooks( I believe her name is Brittany)who appeared to be drunk while working and yelling at the staff members from the kitchen making a huge seen that had everyone in th restaurant stop what they were doing and look some customers actually left saying how unprofessional the cook was. I felt so bad for Gina and Amy who were busting there ass as always to make it a great customer experience. The cook also came out from the back being loud and slurring her words as she was talking to customers while they were eating saying something like she was the manager on duty..while the food was fantastic the atmosphere was not due to her outburst..she should have been sent home being as drunk as she was. read more

First time visiting this location after being loyal customers at Lendy's Dam Neck Road/General Booth. She-crab soup, steamed shrimp, chicken tenders, hushpuppies and drinks were all delish. Our server Jay was super sweet and stayed on top of taking finished plates and glasses away quickly. Great time for our party of 8 on a Friday night! Excellent service, food, and drinks. Highly recommend!! read more

Got an expensive uber to try out this location and unfortunately the hours posted are not correct. Close time is posted as 11pm but after arriving at 9:17pm the doors were locked and the open sign was off. There were people sitting at the bar inside and other people still in but we were obviously unable to get in. Incredibly disappointed and will not be back. read more

I love Lendy's! I typically go to the one on General Booth but have been spending some time near Shore Drive location. I LOVE everything about this place. The friendly staff when you walk in, the open bar area with plenty of ways to watch the Sunday NFL games. But the absolute best is the food!! I love the chicken garlic parm wings or the boneless wings. The Phat Quesadilla with Chicken is also spot on! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu...honestly. read more

Big wings. Would go up on heat level next time. The hot were less than Texas Pete. Super friendly staff.

My wife and I stopped by to try out your restaurant. Very nice facility, great for sports watching and accessibility. The bar tender as awesome very cordial and friendly. On the other hand, the meal was a different story. The salad was not fresh, the fries and onion rings were burnt and the burger was slopped together. Had to cut it in pieces to eat. Should have order the wings. Truly need to address the food prep. read more

Worst wings ever. Staff were friendly but the place disorganized. Food was very poor. Can't believe I was recommended to go there

Decided to try the new location. We have been to Booth Blvd and Pleasure House and really enjoyed his wings. We were a party of 6 and it just didn't feel right when we entered. It was not crowded. No one greeted us and the bartender looked away. We settled at a table waited a little and were presented menus and a waitress (A) arrived took our orders and drinks. Three of the orders did not have the proper number of wings and another had a wing not fully cooked. Adjustments to our bills were made. Waitress apologized we understood this was not her fault. There needs to be some type of management here. First impressions are important and any guest should be greeted upon arrival. We have many options on Shore Drive. read more
