From the closure of Archor Allies-Shore Drive emerges Lendy's 2.0. We came to visit during their first week of being opened. It was lunchtime and we ordered the beef nachos. Big screens are installed, perfect for watching sports. There's a digital jukebox for music, Golden Tee for the golf fanatics, and a couple of crane games for the kids. Since then we have come back for their famous wings...Garlic Parmesan, of course. My husband ordered Spicy Teriyaki, which were surprisingly good since I'm not a big fan of super spicy foods (but I'm trying). Recently, my husband and I decided to come in for dinner because it's Loco Moco Monday!!! This dish is a 2.0 exclusive menu item. This Hawaiian dish is 2 over-easy eggs on a burger patty with gravy on a heap of white rice. Ask for extra garlic to level up the yummyness. It wasnt busy due to the cold weather. This is a casual local bar. Hope it develops a good regular clientele like the original location. Stop by and give it a try.

Great food with solid service. I went during the ncaa women's basketball tourney and they had the games on tv. There are a bench of screens and spacious seating.

Nice local sports bar. Clean and plenty of TV's. Haven't been disappointed with any of the food on my visits. They are famous for their wings, and they were large and tasty. Paired with their homemade ranch dipping sauce you can't go wrong. The staff was friendly and attentive, if you talk with them long enough you'll find out some great off the menu options you could get.

Needs better food. We in the neighborhood were hopeful. The worst fries I've ever had.

Big wings. Would go up on heat level next time. The hot were less than Texas Pete. Super friendly staff.

Worst wings ever. Staff were friendly but the place disorganized. Food was very poor. Can't believe I was recommended to go there

The last time I set foot inside their Pleasure House Rd location was at least 10 years ago. I celebrated my birthday there as my friends were kind enough to take me out. It was a Sunday morning and I sought out a place that offered brunch. I noticed 1608 was open and decided to head over, especially since I haven't visited them in ages. When I walked in, I noticed their dining room is dimly lit - much darker than I remember. I was greeted immediately by a kind hostess and she proceeded to sit me at a nearby table and provided me with menus (one food, one alcohol). I took my time looking over the food menu, and in the meantime I ordered a pint of Center of the Universe's Bald Irishman and a bottle of Boylan's Black Cherry soda (they do not have a soda fountain). What made this visit memorable was that 1608's bartender, Hunter, was an old acquaintance from back in my restaurant days. He spotted me and came over to say hi. After my meal, I continued to catch up with him at the bar. His presence made a pleasant experience even more fantastic. I thought I was hungry, so I ordered 2 dishes - Smoked Ham Fried Rice and the Breakfast Burrito. According to Hunter, every item is made fresh in house. After biting into each, you could tell that's true. Both the fried rice and burrito were delicious and boasted lots of flavor. Although I prefer my fried rice a bit simpler (if you give me just garlic fried rice, I am SET), 1608's fried rice (veggies, garlic, soy, basmati rice, 2 runny eggs, smoked ham) had a lot going on, which made for a flavorful dish. I liked the rice and the burrito (Korean style fried chicken breast, scrambled eggs, cilantro lime, cheddar, pico de gallo) a lot. I didn't finish either because it was a lot of food (I really thought I was hungry, haha). But these leftovers turned into a fantastic dinner later on. 1608 looked clean and organized, although I thought it was a little too dark inside, at least for brunch service. That's not a dealbreaker since everything from the food to the service was as excellent as I remember. I hope to return soon with my mom. Regardless, I'll find my way back eventually. Thank you, 1608 Crafthouse! And great seeing you again, Hunter! JV

Drinks: I tried the Grey Goose Strawberry Mule (10/10) it was soooo good! I was happy I gave this a try because it just might be my new fav drink. I also tried the Long Beach Tea (8/10) it was pretty good. Food: we shared some Chicken Nachos (10/10) we completely cleaned the plate. It was a great portion size, hot, fresh, and delicious; loved the flavors all together. I ordered the Spicy Jambalaya with linguine (10/10) yummy flavors, wasn't too spicy, and again, a good portion size. Tasted the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was actually pretty decent. I was very pleased with everything ordered for dinner. For dessert, we tried the Brookie (10/10) exactly what I needed and was craving. Cleaned the plate entirely. It was so good! Still top of my go to list! My overall rate of experience : 9.5/10

We stopped by Yard House for happy hour. When we walked in there was a fair amount of open tables,…read moreso I was happy it wasn't super crowded. Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Check them out!!

Waitress was informative on menu items and also very attentive. To drink: I got their Saturday special, a $6 Strawberry Margarita (8/10) it was good and decently strong. Got to taste a sip of their Hunch Punch (0/10) tasted like nothing but pineapple juice and no alcohol, unfortunately. To eat: we started with the Grande Nachos with chicken (8.5/10) they were flavorful and actually pretty tasty though appearance wise, we were nervous on how'd they taste. I also ordered the Southwest Steak Wrap (5/10) I ended up having to send my plate back because my steak wasn't cooked medium, it was originally far past well done and hard. I had asked also for no tomatoes, but they were put on my wrap. The waitress was kind and apologetic about the mess up though, and quickly put in for me to get a new wrap made. Overall, I just didn't find the wrap flavorful at all and didn't like the taste of it. My steak was cooked perfectly the second time around though. Definitely didn't order the right thing for my meal it seemed, but I think I'd give this place another try in the future. My overall rate of experience: 6/10
