The cafe is nestled in the upper Lawrenceville... where parking is simple and life is slower lol From first glance, this establishment is ready to make you feel right at home. With cute signage everywhere instructing you on there sustainability practices and fun flavors of the month, you go from first time to feeling like a regular instantly. The lattes... were.... DELIGHTFUL. We got a peppermint latte and a vanilla oat milk latte. The flavors were rich but not cloyingly overpowering. We also ordered a breakfast hand pie (why does life not use the term hand pie more often, you just feel so fun ordering one) and an Egg & Cheese Bagel. Both freshly put together and toasted to perfection. It is great when a cafe has actually delicious and intentional food. The staff was more than ready to give their suggestions and help. They kindly announce when your order is ready and wait with a smile to hand it off to you! There were plenty of cute places to sit and the decor was just so.. them. They have a restroom available and well marked as well. We may have a passport full of coffee places to try, but Caffe d'Amore might just have to be a regular spot during the journey anyway!!

When I asked if they gave me the correct size, I was given attitude and was told I would need to repay the difference. I was fine with doing so if it meant getting the size I actually wanted, so when I went to pay the difference I was told that I had to pay in cash due to a credit card minimum policy. I didn't have any cash so I was forced to take the size I did not want, and the woman at the counter was incredibly rude. It was $6 for the smallest coffee ever and the service was so poor. Save your money and go somewhere else.

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

I often have driven by the LP Café and been impressed with its appearance. This weekend, we decided to pay it a visit to check it out, and we were not disappointed. The owner and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The selection of vinyl is impressive, especially if you want limited edition or recent pressings of albums. They don't seem to be deep into vintage vinyl, but I think that is a wise choice in this trending neighborhood, where the younger people may be more interested in current releases. The older vinyl options that they had were in excellent condition, and they even had a bargain box selection that was very, very good! Overall, you can tell that the owner and staff have a passion for this. unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry, and did not stay for coffee, but I'll bet it's great. The aromas are fantastic. The store seem to be very busy while we were there, but the owner states that recently it has been a little slow - if you're reading my review, it would be great if you would help this wonderful local business out and pay them a visit. You will not be sorry! In fact, we're going to visit again today! I'm sure we'll come away with some wonderful choices.

When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is I say "well it's actually a brunch place, but Geppetto Cafe! Trust me!" Great atmosphere, food, and people. There are few places I'm a regular, and this is one of them. Their iced black coffee is my all-time favorite too. We just had our engagement party here, and they were so flexible and accommodating. It was really special, and many of our guests said "you WOULD have your engagement party at Geppetto". They loved it. Everyone thought it was super cute and that the crepes were delicious. Highest recommendation for brunch, coffee, or a special occasion!

It's small and homey and playful and inviting. We had both savory crepes and sweet crepes here and they were all good. For savories, we had the Bonjour and the Love Hate Thing. I liked the Love Hate Thing better. The maple syrup on the Bonjour didn't do anything for me. There was just a lot going on. The sweet crepes were delicious; both the Banoffee and the Cookie Monster were tasty, but Cookie Monster wins--the crunchy bits on there were clutch. The crepes themselves have a really nice texture and flavor, not gummy or tough, and they complimented both the sweet and savory fillings nicely. Next time I go I'm going to try a waffle or French toast, as all the plates around me looked great and I think sweet might be my way to go here. Coffee is Lavazza, espresso is LaPrima.
