Waited 45 minutes for a "TB-12" smoothie and a cold breakfast sandwich . Tasted disgusting and was overpriced. Won't be back

I got a delicious chocolate hazelnut croissant and an okay tasting latte here. They're just using generic syrups, but I honestly expected them to make their syrups in-house. They're incredibly busy even at 9AM on a Sunday. I guess this is where everyone goes to get their acai bowls and coffees, but it's honestly just okay. Lemon Press has such a great selection of specialty drinks and breakfast items! The line was definitely worth it. I got the mocha latee, as well as the breakfast burrito. Although it's on the pricier side, the burrito was huge and filled with cheese, egg, potatoes, and avocado. It definitely can be difficult to find somewhere to sit inside, so I recommend ordering to-go. I'll be back next I'm in Nantucket! read more

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday. The service was hurried, not particularly friendly. We ordered coffee and entrees at the same time. Big mistake. Our coffees took forever and arrived at the same time as our meals. Not ideal. We both had breakfast sandwiches and they are nothing special. The presentation is just sad. My Americano was ok. The matcha wasn't very sweet even with the added sweet cold foam. The presentation of the food was nice. For the price idk if it was worth it. Nicely decorated place. Oh no ! Chunky coffee ! It ended up having a piece of HAM in the cup. I was flabbergasted. Absolutely shocked. It was one of the worst experiences in a restaurant ever. No apologies offered by the manager. Lovely baristas. They were not the problem. Management is awful. So rude and honestly the food was bad too. Probably the worst matcha I have ever had in my entire life. Everything else was fine I guess I didn't stay long all I wanted was matcha but if you are looking for matcha on the island this is 100% not the place to go. So expensive too for a small it was $8.50 . Extremely disappointing. read more

Sadly, I have to give a negative review for this place. First off- service!! I came in there for the first time and asked their advice on the matcha or chai and the woman who rang me up wasn't very helpful so I went for the matcha and it had no taste and wasn't mixed at the bottom. I went to return and the girls behind the counter were rude and gave me attitude when I asked them to remake it and instead I switched it out for the chai and it was watered down by the almond milk. The cost is on par with what you'll see at the other restaurants in this part of town but I don't think the quality or quantities quite deliver at the price point. For a $50 salmon entree, I expect to have a pretty amazing meal. The fish was nice but tiny, and the sides were underwhelming. I double checked the menu when I saw my plate thinking maybe I ordered an app by mistake. The service was a bit strange. The woman who seated us asked if we were ready to order - we requested a few minutes to browse. Not even a minute later a different waiter came by to take our order - we still weren't ready so said we needed another minute or two to look. The original waiter returned almost as quickly. Still a little unprepared, we did the thing where the first few people in the party order while everyone else scrambles to pick. It felt like they wanted to rush us in and out of the table, but we were the only party in the restaurant. After waiting for our food for about 15 minutes the owner of the restaurant comes by to ask if we've been in before/have questions about the menu etc and then tries to take our food order for a fourth time and was surprised to learn that we'd already been helped. Throughout the meal we had a total of 4 people checking in on us and it seemed like none of them were coordinating behind the scenes. The ambiance is cute, but I think it just makes more sense for breakfast or lunch. Had a wonderful lunch there. We both ordered poke bowls. She got grilled salmon, which was delicious, and I got tuna. I asked them to add kelp to mine, which they were happy to do. It was great. It is a lovely place, and the service was exceptional. Went for breakfast. Two breakfast sandwiches and two bloody Mary's were about 75.00 with tip. So, I would say a little on the expensive side. The Bloody Mary was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The breakfast sandwich was on an English muffin with a very nicely done fluffy egg, bacon and bacon jam. The bacon jam was good, I would ask for less next time. The only thing was the weird interaction my friend and I had with staff :/ We are both in our mid 20's and both server and bartender came over to check ID's a total of three times and seemed to hesitate to serve us and made it a bit uncomfortable to continue the meal as we are of age and the way they went about it was a bit awkward as tables are very close together and so people close by did begin to stare. Way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a large latte for $7 and it wasn't a full cup and then it was a lot of foam. Ended up being about 60% full. Handlebar Cafe is better with a nicer atmosphere. Lemon Press is for tourists who don't know better. Be the tourist who does and go to Handlebar. read more

I don't believe there is ever a time that this spot is not busy! We came both times during the early morning but even while we were in town and walking around, they seem to be flowing with crowds and the reason is justified! The açai bowl that I had was the most delicious and fulfilling breakfast! I got mine with mango, honey, and peanut butter with granola. They also seem to have a lot of options for pressed juices and coffees but I did not indulge while I was here. My friend got their breakfast sandwich and I can't seem to get it out of my head! Definitely a must try! If you can snag a spot outside, it would be great for taking in the Nantucket downtown/shopping area! read more

We were in Nantucket for the weekend and stopped by here for breakfast on a Saturday. We were scared there would be a long wait because there were so many people outside, luckily most people were there for take out. We were seated right away but soon afterwards the place was pretty full (we arrived around 10). I got an acai bowl, and my husband got the breakfast burrito. My acai bowl was super fresh, i got it with almond butter, strawberries and blueberries. My husbands burrito was very flavorful. I got freshly squeezed orange juice which was a little pricey but then again everything in Nantucket is. The place was very cute and the service was friendly.
