    ghost rider (seasonal drink)
    Carla G.

I always enjoy this spot every time i visit! i'm so glad this place is in alameda. The happy hour menu is great, from drinks to food. I like the crispiness of the wings with the sauces as well. They actually gave us the wrong order, but we were already eating so they ended up giving us our right order still. The flat bread could be a bit more crispier with the crust. but the flavor was there! Now to the drinks, i very much appreciate their seasonal drinks. I love when a place offers this because it gives the customers something else to look forward going back to. So i can't wait what they have during the holiday season. The ghost rider was such a special drink, i was in flavor heaven. it had matcha, coconut and lychee i think and it was just wow! If you're looking for a place for happy hour, this is it. If you're looking for a late night lounge with music to hang with friends, you've found the spot!

Taco Tuesday and $10 tequila lemon drops! Tacos are $3 each with the exception of fish taco which is $6.50 So good. Happy hour is from 3pm-6pm. Sat at the bar, server was attentive and helpful. I will come back again, but earlier so I can explore their happy hour! Cheers!

We stepped in for a bite. Saturday, late afternoon, we arrived before the crowd. Cool, basic decor but the ambiance was off. We didn't feel unwelcome just not welcomed. Our server was new, it was his first day and he did pretty good. We did have to ask for plates, utensils & napkins, in that order... Lemon drop 4outta5 Good taste but not as smooth on the backend. The other cocktail that I can't remember the name for 2outta5 I had to send it back, it just wasn't for me. Popcorn chkn 4outta5 Nice flavor and excellent cook. The only thing missing were lil pcs of blue cheese in the dipping sauce. Street Tacos 4outta5 Lamb-great flavor but too much lamb, made for a very chewy bite. Shrimp-great flavor. Fish-outstanding! It maintained its crunch to the last bite. We had a pretty good time. #GoTaste&See

Main part of the bar. It's not as fluorescent as it looks.

I'm still high on this place. We come in here periodically when we want a drink because it is honestly probably the nicest bar in Alameda. The vibe is still great. Ow that they remodeled they serve food and that's awesome., I don't usually go in here for the food, so I don't have much to say about that. On our most recent visit, they had a new bartender who was pretty inexperienced, but so friendly she made up for it. Someone really should tell her, though, that martinis, contrary to what James Bond thinks, should actually be stirred and not shaken. Also, can you guys please quit buying olives with pits -- it's obnoxious. Anyway, overall it's awesome and you should go. Just make sure you have a few dollars, two modest size cocktails will set you back 35 bucks after the tip.

Lemon Drop, or rather the space it occupies, used to be a place called Lemon Tree. Lemon Tree was a den of iniquity. Driving by, you would regularly see the 'over served' stumbling around and even passed out on the sidewalk. If you were walking down the block, you would cross the street. Thankfully, this unfortunate place closed down, and sometime later, reopened as a markedly nicer establishment known as Lemon Drop (but frankly, after Lemon Tree, there's nowhere to go but up). Lemon Drop has been in Alameda for a few years now, and has done well. It consistently gets a lot of business, especially on the weekends. It has a lounge-y vibe, with plenty of tables, if you're with a group or don't feel like sitting at the bar. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bartenders are great and expertly mix a cocktail. Try the Peaches & Cream, which I hope they keep on the menu permanently, it is delicious. They have a totally adequate food menu, and again, other bar places, please take note: serve food! - and Cheetos don't count. Lemon Drop's food menu includes flatbreads, samosas, tacos, even oysters. You can also bring in food from the Indian market next door; I believe the owners of the two establishments are related. Extra points for them being open late, when most of Alameda's sidewalks roll up early. If you feel like getting dinner beforehand, Sushi Broadway is directly across the street, there's the very nice Asena restaurant a block or so away, and plenty of eateries nearby on Park St. Cheers and enjoy!

A very good find. It's a very cozy and eclectic place. We ordered around 8 drinks among us and all of the drinks were delicious. We ordered pop corn chicken, veg bhaji and pizza . Everything cane out very tasty. For bar, the food was very very good. Service was quick and friendly. Will be back again

I came here about a week ago, on a Friday. It's super aesthetic and a great spot for girls night or a date. There is street parking right in front, really convenient. The staff were nice and dressed casual. There are regular tables and an area to mingle by the bar. The strawberry lemon drops are so sweet and you can't even taste the liquor. I'd definitely come back.

Great intimate place for girls night or date! I got the peaches and cream drink and my friend got man at the garden drink . Both were delicious! We sat at the bar, bartenders were very sweet and it's cool to watch the drinks get made. Mine even had coconut in it that was torches

Came here to celebrate a birthday! It was our first time coming here and it was nice. It's a nice and chill lounge / bar. There is a bar area, lounge area for larger parties and a lot of tables plus an outside lounge with fire pit. Service was good. All of the bar tenders were super nice and friendly. Drinks were great. The lemon drops were small for the price and the flat bread pizza too but overall it was pretty good. I'd recommend and would come back again!

    Inside

It's nice inside and the people there are so sweet! They have some food but we just ordered drinks. All drinks are "citrusy". I got the peaches 'n' cream and my friend got the man at the garden. They were good but just wish they had less ice for sure!

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we sat at the bar. It was Monday and it wasn't too busy. Bartender was GREAT! Loved watching them craft the drinks, especially the Tajin Bae. The Tajin Bae was delicious. My friend's cosmo was exactly what she wanted for her birthday. I also got a gin and tonic (made with a requested St. George's Terrior gin) later and they have a VERY extensive full bar. LOVE IT! They now have a very delicious food menu and the kitchen doesn't close until 11! We got the Tandoori Street Tacos trio of lamb, prawn and chicken, the Tikka Masala flatbread, tuna tartare, and hamburger. All so scrumptious and filling and the price not too bad for the portion size. The decor inside is so chic and inviting. They also have outdoor seating in front with electric fire pits. Very beautiful. The last time I came here was 2 years ago and it was SO different from what it is now. I love what this place has become and look forward to coming here with more friends.

    Berry Spritzy
    Tara M.

My niece told me to try this place out so I came for happy hour. Sweet little spot, tastefully decorated. The music was right on point, a combination of R&B oldies and current music. I ordered the Berry Spritzy and loved it. A great balance of juice and alcohol, I tasted both. Cute presentation too. The Mango Sriracha wings were fire. I could've had a double order cause the flavor was right on point. The wings were cooked perfectly, a slight crunch with juicy meat on the inside. The bartender was nice and the food came out in a timely manner. I didn't stay long cause other than the music the vibe was dry. I honestly think I just went on the wrong night, not too many people were there. I would 100% go back. There's a few menu options I'd like to try out.

When I have friends over or guests visiting me from back home I have to bring them to lemon drop! Service is always great, staff is very friendly and the music is always on point. I love the drinks when I go, I have tried about 5 of them but My go-to is a passion fruit lemon drop. I had their oysters for the first time and I really enjoyed them. They were presented nicely and were prepared very well. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill spot with good drinks :)

I then started going there all the time..bringing my co-workers, friends and family any chance I could get. Driving from Fremont wasn't too far of a trek as it was worth the drive every time! What once was an amazing Ciopinno that came in a little iron skillet to this burger that opened my mind to different meats, the Bison Burger!! Then the amazing penko fish n chips with the awesome slaw and dressing! They would always bring me extra dressing sauce as they knew I was a fan!! The Baby Lobster Pasta! No it wasn't real lobster, it was langoustine, but still awesome!! Not the mention the salads they had!! then the brews!! A page long of beers from local to Germany!! My go to was usually the Racer5, but then a good ol' Sneijder Weise was a cool option too!! I have been allergic to peanuts and they used to have them for free at your tables! Thank goodness I didn't get sick unless I ate them, so it was always cool for me to go there. Staff was always awesome and one of my favorites servers would let my daughter use his personal Cholula hot sauce!! (trying to remember his name). Everyone always made you feel welcomed. The was another server back in that day named Chuy was a cool cat too!! We had birthday parties there and many times I just drove up for a quick meal and views as it was a favorite spot especially for my daughter and I being a single dad back then, was our cool hang out spot. Well then came the news that it was closing... I was able to go the Friday prior to them closing to enjoy one last time. Sad day!! Then some time past and a friend sent me a message that they would be opening back up and I was thinking heck yes!! My mother ended up going there before I had a chance to and she let me know that it had changed.... I really wasn't interested and it was just a few months ago I was in the area and decided to drop in....well, right when I walked up I was not sure if they were even open!! Well, the door was unlocked so we went in... headed upstairs and it was a ghost town!!! I couldn't believe it...I have never seen this place ever like this before...ever! I was just about to change my mind and leave but by buddy said lets just grab a snack and a beverage, so we ended up staying. The lady was nice and I felt bad for her since I couldn't imagine how she is still able to keep this place open with such little business she had. I kept thinking, man, just bring back the old menu and get this place back up on its feet again. So please Quinn's please back the old vibe and I'll come back with friends and family!!

As soon as you walk in, you're hit with the smell of a campfire from the oven. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with an Art Deco design. The ambiance is cozy but elevated. Benedict (buttermilk biscuit, dungeness crab cakes, marinated swiss chard & beet greens, herbed hollandaise, poached eggs & mixed greens): I'm not a huge benedict person because they can feel heavy, but this one was fantastic. I loved the textures and flavors of the crab cakes pairing with the greens and vegetables. It felt balanced and not too creamy or exhausting to eat. It definitely stands out from the run-of-the-mill brunch benedict. Vegetable Hash (roasted sweet potatoes, garnet yams, sunchokes, cauliflower, cremini mushrooms, celery root & onion, savoy spinach & poached eggs): This was also delicious and also set itself apart from the standard brunch hash. I loved the different vegetables in it besides being just potatoes and onions. The mushrooms and root vegetables worked really well together. Everything was well-seasoned. I'm glad we ended up choosing these dishes even though neither were my original top choices (I decided on the menu with my friend). It made me feel like you can choose anything and it'd be a banger. We were quite full from these dishes, and we forget we also ordered beignets to come out last. They were fluffy and mostly air (but not in a bad way). The service throughout the meal was good. We were checked on from time-to-time and our waters were refilled, although I wish the water glasses were a little bigger. One small thing to note was that we were given the check while we were still eating, even though the restaurant was still seating people despite it being close to closing time. Unsure if/why we were rushed like this. Overall, this was a memorable brunch spots I've been to in the Bay (dare I say one of the best?). We left smelling like a campfire. I would recommend it.

I ordered a classic martini with a twist, it wasn't my favorite drink ever but it was made well, just not my usual. After that I ordered a classic margarita which was super good and came with a black salt rim and dehydrated lime. The margarita was super tasty and both drinks were made right away! For food, I ordered the chips and salsa and guac. The guac was very good, it tasted fresh and was a good size portion. The salsa was really good, it was chipotle tasting but had a lime tanginess to it that was unique and refreshing. They were generous with the portion of chips and the chips were thick and crispy and seasoned well with just a little bit of salt. I also ordered the impossible taquitos which came with guac, sour cream, and salsa on top. The presentation was beautiful and the food came out fast but the taste was a bit weird, it wasn't bad but it just tasted like burger meat in a taquito. I really appreciate that they offered a meat alternative but wish it tasted better, like maybe use potatoes instead of fake meat, or use fake chorizo over a burger seasoning. It would also be nice if there was a vegan version not just a vegetarian version. Despite my critiques of the food, I have no critiques for the service and atmosphere! My server was phenomenal and attentive and checked in often! I had a great experience and look forward to coming back but would definitely be more eager to come back if they updated with more vegan options!
