Delicious! So happy we have Lucuma a try. The paella was delicious! I highly recommend getting a ceviche and the Cesar salad. Both of the margarita drinks were quite tasty!

Lucuma is one of my favorite Peruvian spots. Yes, it's on the pricier side but the food, drinks, and service are all worth it. It's a beautiful take on traditional Peruvian cuisine with a modern twist. The ceviche cremoso is easily one of my all-time favorites and everything always tastes high quality. I usually sit at the bar and the service is always great. The bartender is super helpful and genuinely nice every time which makes the whole experience even better. The decor is also beautiful and really adds to the vibe. Definitely a go-to when I want something a little more elevated.

Very beautiful restaurant, lovely decor. Service is attentive and very kind. Drinks Pisco Sour: 10/10 loved the logo on the drink top Pisco Punch: 10/10 bigger than we expected but great flavor! Food Anticucho: 7/10 big portion of meat! I could only finish one stick. It was more on the dryer side, would've liked a more tender meat. But the flavor was good. The choclo with the dish was also dry, typically, it is soft. Lomo Saltado: 10/10 tender meat, great crisp and flavor on potatoes. The rice was good, no notes. Onions were crispy which i like in lomo saltados. Overall, a beautiful place to enjoy drinks and food!

Amazing food! My daughter lives near here and has said she's visited us before and everything she's eaten was very wonderful! We had the grilled octopus appetizer, which was excellent! And coconut shrimp appetizer also excellent! My main dish was salmon covered in this wonderful coconut sauce with mushrooms!

The cutest vibe inside, it honestly felt like stepping into a little slice of Peru. I came on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy, so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, just very busy. I ordered a pisco sour, which came with the cutest design on top, such a nice touch. We ordered: * Ceviche - the broth had great flavor and felt very true to a classic Peruvian ceviche, with the corn and sweet potato. I do wish the portion was a bit bigger, and the plantain chips could've used a little more salt, but still enjoyable overall. * Lomo saltado - flavorful and satisfying. I've never had it served with a yellow sauce before, so that was a bit different but interesting. * Ají de gallina - my first time trying this dish and I really liked it! The layered potatoes were a standout. Overall, such a cute spot perfect for a date night or a girls' night out.

Aji de Gallina: shredded chicken in creamy aji amarillo, gnocchi and white rice. Very good.

Walking into Lucuma, you are immediately greeted by the house maître d'--a charming Alpaca statue! The decor is eclectic and vibrant; the bar area is even adorned with a large red straw octopus and straw fish. It's a beautiful, warm, and cordial space where you can easily hang out at the stylish bar or settle into a cozy dining room table. We started with the chicken empanadas, which were delicious with a light, flaky crust and flavorful filling. For entrees, the Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallina were the highlights--both felt like authentic, homey Peruvian comfort food. The addition of gnocchi in the Aji de Gallina added a great texture alongside the rice, a creative take on a homey classic. The Arroz Norteno was also packed with flavor from the cilantro and spinach. My only note of caution is the Flambéed Ahi Tuna; it was disappointing and lacked freshness, with salt being the only flavor despite the passion fruit sauce. However, the service more than made up for it. The owners and servers are incredibly cheerful, attentive, and always wearing a smile. It's the perfect spot for a late lunch to avoid the crowds and enjoy a nice conversation!

I remember when this location used to be a Beauty's Bagel (rip :') but the updated interior now is done sooo beautifully and vibrant! Only came here for a quick drink and shared appetizer but omg I dream of how delicious the ceviche was. The Peruvian corn is such a great contrast to the rest of the dish. The El Picaro drink is a great choice for those who like savory, and the Incan Old Fashioned was definitely a fun twist on a classic. For those with sensitive noses, be prepared to get hit with wafts of Palo Santo from the Incan Old Fashioned. Service here is sweet and very friendly. I'd for sure recommend this spot!

Our daughter took me to this restaurant for my birthday. Great little restaurant! Felt like a neighborhood spot even though it's downtown. From the entrance to the vibrant and cultural interior design, embroidered cloth napkins, cool wooden boxed receipt/check keeper and clean bathrooms, every inch of the restaurant was lovely. The plating of food and festive drinks were well done. We ordered a chicken empanada, rib dish and seafood dish with a mocktail and fruit beverage. All the dishes were tasty and very good. I would have liked more ribs for the price point esp since 1 of our ribs was mostly fat. The dish comes with 2 ribs. When I informed our waiter, he was very gracious and served me another rib with a side of mashed sweet potatoes. I appreciated how they handled it. We enjoyed the seafood dish that had a generous portion of fish which I like but I would have preferred more shrimp, mussels and squid than fish for the price point. It's a matter of preference bc more fish may work for others. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant allows for 11/2 hour to complete your meal and we were concerned that we'd be rushing through our meal but they were very efficient and we had time to spare. I would definitely eat here again when in town.

This is a bit of a more upscale place with premium pricing, but it is worth the extra money. I had the chicken paella, a few cocktails, the baby corn appetizer, and the passionfruit dessert. Everything was good size portions and packed with flavor. I got a side of hot sauce that also really kicked up the flavor profile as well. Of the cocktails I had the pisco punch was probably my favorite. It was lightly sweet and did not hold back with the liquors

Oh my God, the food was so delicious. They even paid attention to the little details -- they brought out a napkin with the restaurant's name on it, which was so cute and aesthetic. The food was amazing, the whole vibe was beautiful, and our host, Melvin, was absolutely amazing too.

Only the girlies will understand the joy that is sitting at a nice and visually appealing bar and yapping it up with your girlfriends! It was great spending a little bit of time doing just that at Lucuma! We were a bit too early for our reservation across the street at Sobre mesa, so we hopped into Lucuma to sit at the bar and have a little drinky drink. First of all this place was so cute on the inside! Lots of color and festive decor everywhere. Definitely a treat for the senses in more ways than one. I saw tons of other girlies in here enjoying the beautiful bar as well. They definitely know how to appeal to us girly pops. The super sweet hostess sat us and we got to looking at the menu. Since dinner was only an hour out, we opted for drinks. I got the Pisco Sour while my friend got the Alchemist. Both were super yummy, but I really enjoyed mine. I asked the waitress if I could make mine spicy and boy oh boy did they deliver! Probably one of the spiciest drinks I had and I loved it! Sour and spicy, totally up my alley. I loved that they had tons of alcohol free options for drinks as well! Cute Cute Cute little hour spent at Lucuma! Hopefully, next time I can take more time to try the food.

A Yelp recommendation... Nice atmosphere w/a chill vibe, greeted w/warmth & a smile. The Alchemist 3outta5 the coconut fat-washed whiskey had me intrigued but I've never had matcha & that killed it for me. I couldn't get past the earthiness & appreciated the comp. Brisa Andina 3.5outta5 Light & refreshing Tikila 4outta5 Refreshing & light Ceviche 5outta5 It tasted great. Too many red onions (imo) but they were an addition that I pushed aside. The overall flavor however was amazing! Tequenitos 5outta5 The wantons were crisp, & filled proportionately. The passion fruit sauce was delicious. Pulpo al Olivo 4outta5 Octopus was tender & tasted great w/the accompanying sauce & veggies. Conchitas à la Parmesana 4.5outta5 We were skeptical about the cheese but it actually tasted great. The sweetness of the scallop danced harmoniously w/the salty, nutty & sharp savoriness of the parm. There was just a bit too much for my liking. First time trying Peruvian cuisine & it was a good experience. We enjoyed ourselves. #GoTaste&See

Tallboy's martini menu is well-executed. While I didn't personally try one of the slushies, a friend ordered the espresso martini version and gave it a solid thumbs-up. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart when it comes to food and service. Waiting 30+ minutes for two hot dogs (after paying) is hard to justify. When I checked in with a server, she was curt and dismissive. She was quick to explain there was only one person in the kitchen, with no effort to offer a solution, timeline, or even basic courtesy. I understand staffing issues happen. However, customer service is a close second to concept. How an issue is communicated and addressed is what separates good service from bad. What's more frustrating is that these aren't customer problems to absorb. If the kitchen is understaffed, if tables aren't being cleared in a timely manner at a seat-yourself spot, those are management problems. Guests should not have to choose to leave without the food we paid for. There's a lot of competition out there, and concepts alone aren't enough to bring people back. I genuinely wanted that hot dog. That's probably the most disappointing part of the whole experience. Great drinks, solid ambiance, but the service needs serious attention.

Your whole party has to get the Restaurant Week Menu. So we all got their: Aperitif Cocktail - Tomato Beef or Purely Passion (Non Alcoholic) I got the Purely Passion. Good, nothing to write home about. Umami Tots This was really good! Very Crispy. Chili Cucumbers This one was actually really good. Szechuan Salt and Pepper Wings Good, but maybe too crispy? Wings are always good but this one didn't stand out for me. Mango Sorbet (They changed this from the Apple Sorbet that day) My favorite of the whole night. I usually don't like sorbet but this one was soft and easy to eat and has like a creamy like texture? Trying this made me want to try their other dessert item. We also ordered 2 add ons - the Hojicha Miso Tiramisu and the Korean Mapo Tofu. Hojicha Miso Tiramisu was OK. It contained too much alcohol for all of us and was bitter. Disappointing. I liked the Mapo Tofu! I liked that it was Crispy and that it came with rice. Drinks wise, my friends also got to try the Tomato Beef and White Rabbit. I don't really drink alcohol so I just sipped a bit. Tomato Beef was too alcoholic for me, couldn't really taste the tomato or the beef, but I could see what White Rabbit was going for.
