But I especially want to thank Stephanie and Christian who installed our new unit. Michael handled all the business and clearly explained to me in my home what equipment options were available (all Lennox via Costco) and what payment options and benefits were available to Costco members. I took a few different estimates from other companies and although I found comparable equipment and installations that might have priced out cheaper than Around the Clock, the benefits received from Costco for CostcoCash along with direct cash refunds made them very appealing. Michael is very patient in the process of answering any and all questions regarding the equipment, installation, etc. The installation was smooth and painless. The team of two installers were polite and professional. They worked clean which is greatly appreciated. The installation took about a day and a half. End result: I'm very satisfied with my experience with Around the Clock. A very professional installation with great customer service. If you value your time like I do, go elsewhere. Never fall for promos in the mail. I figure I give this place a try since I needed my AC serviced. If all was good I would use regularly. So I called and scheduled an appointment one month out. It started good with a text message in the morning confirming. In fact, they texted asking if anything changes to let them know. Time ticked by. I asked for an ETA, then I get another text saying: "Thanks for checking in. Your HVAC maintenance is scheduled between 1 PM and 4 PM today, but due to a high volume of emergency calls your technician is running behind and there is a chance we may not be able to make it today. If you would like, we can look at moving your appointment to another day instead, otherwise you will receive a text update as soon as a technician is on the way." Basically a nice way of telling me I should reschedule. I said no. I already stayed home all day waiting. Time past. So I texted them again and said "so you guys are a no show?" And as I suspected, no respond whatsoever. I knew from earlier they would be a no show with the text messages I got. Terrible company. I reached out for a quote on an a/c split install for a second story apartment. I had been using portable window units that were not only expensive to run, they weren't working- it was 90 degrees inside my apartment at 6 pm at night. Kyle was one of the few people who would give me an estimate range before coming out to check out the property. I had a couple of people out to review the space- Kyle was the only one who measured to make sure everything would fit and even opened up the breaker box to take a look and make sure that everything was good there before giving me a final quote- which was quite a bit less than the others. If you're worried about dirt and dust, these are the kind of guys who put booties on before walking in your home. Since I was installing the unit on behalf of my landlord I wanted to make sure that whomever I hired was going to do a good job at a fair price and felt confident I had the right company. Kyle and Tim arrived a little late to the appointment scheduled because they had to travel to a different store when the van nuys location was sold out of their units- and even ended up with an upgraded unit at no extra charge. They made quick work of the job (about 5 hours in total) and walked me through how to use and maintain the unit as well as show me what they did to the outside. The unit was tested for leaks before they left and - most importantly- my apartment is now 72 degrees rather than 89 at 7 at night. Just in time for a heat wave, I couldn't be more thankful! Bottom line, if you're looking for an a/c mini split install in Van Nuys- highly recommend premier cooling and heating.

If you're having any HVAC issues, definitely put Manny's HVAC on the top of your list to call…read more My AC stopped blowing cold air in this heatwave. Jerry diagnosed that it was a low capacitor and freon leak, and that the fan motor was not broken like others have said. Other companies needed me to purchase additional parts to get it fixed but Jerry was able to get my AC working the same day. My HVAC unit was nearing it's end of life so I was also comparing bids on what made the most sense for my condo. Jerry offered to temporarily 'lend' us a new capacitor and pumped freon into my system at no charge while I made the decision whether I wanted just the fix or to replace my system. If I decided to just go with the fix, I would pay for it of course, but if I went with replacing the system, they would just take back their capacitor and reclaim the freon. This was a hugely appreciated gesture. Their HVAC replacement proposal was also very competitive. I ultimately decided to replace the system. The experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Cecilia is the one who helps schedule at the office, very friendly and responsive. Jerry was the technician who helped us diagnose the issue and coordinate the HVAC team. He was friendly, transparent, and always responded quickly to my texts/questions - great communication. The day of, the workers Juan, Victor and Andrew were very professional. They wore booties inside, protected the floor with tarp, and were just very careful in general. The installation of the unit itself is very professionally done, and they vacuumed everything and cleaned up afterwards. They even explained how to register the units for warranties etc. They were able to remove the old AC and install the whole new system the same day, roughly ~5-6 hours including the crane to get the units on/off the roof of the condo building.
