Let me just start by saying it's August in the Valley- be patient with any hvac company- they're REALLY busy right now! I reached out for a quote on an a/c split install for a second story apartment. I had been using portable window units that were not only expensive to run, they weren't working- it was 90 degrees inside my apartment at 6 pm at night. Kyle was one of the few people who would give me an estimate range before coming out to check out the property. I had a couple of people out to review the space- Kyle was the only one who measured to make sure everything would fit and even opened up the breaker box to take a look and make sure that everything was good there before giving me a final quote- which was quite a bit less than the others. If you're worried about dirt and dust, these are the kind of guys who put booties on before walking in your home. Since I was installing the unit on behalf of my landlord I wanted to make sure that whomever I hired was going to do a good job at a fair price and felt confident I had the right company. Kyle and Tim arrived a little late to the appointment scheduled because they had to travel to a different store when the van nuys location was sold out of their units- and even ended up with an upgraded unit at no extra charge. They made quick work of the job (about 5 hours in total) and walked me through how to use and maintain the unit as well as show me what they did to the outside. The unit was tested for leaks before they left and - most importantly- my apartment is now 72 degrees rather than 89 at 7 at night. Just in time for a heat wave, I couldn't be more thankful! Bottom line, if you're looking for an a/c mini split install in Van Nuys- highly recommend premier cooling and heating. read more

Stay away from this hvac unprofessional make schedule appointment but he didn't showed up.

I contacted Premire to perform a start up on a five ton horizontal split system newly installed in a single family home. Kyle took the time to listen to what service was needed and quoted me a prompt, fair and reasonable cost. Premier arrived the following day, on time as scheduled and demonstrated experienced professionalism Kyle was personable, courteous and efficient. Despite the job lasting well in to the night, Kyle honored the price quoted and Prioritized doing quality work. Premier cooling and heating should be everyone's " go to" for all climate control comfort needs. read more

Kyle lived up to the hype! He was available right away, and he was able to give me a rough estimate on my AC capacitor replacement without requiring a visit first. He showed up as expected, was courteous and polite and personable, and he did the job while explaining the situation to me each step of the way. I needed another pound of coolant and he handled that too while identifying the reason I was loosing coolant and addressing that (replacing faulty caps). He also was a very good price compared to others. It was overall a great experience, and he's now my go to tech when having any heating or cooling issues. Thanks Kyle! read more

Kyle did an amazing job of figuring out what was causing my condenser to turn on and off. He was able to clean the lines and service the unit for an incredibly affordable price. He worked with my tenants schedule and was very easy to work with! read more

Based on my Yelp search four different companies were recommended. After several attempts of trying to schedule an appointment for an estimate Kyle at Premier was the only one to lockdown a time the same day. He showed up asked the right questions and explained what he was going to trouble shoot. Kyle has deep knowledge on what he does and takes pride in his work. I have an old split system but he stayed focused and solved the problem. No up-sales no scary stories of what I should expect. He is honest and even recommended tips on what to do to keep the system running. I will be calling Premier from now on and I have no reservations recommending Kyle to anyone. Reasonable prices and dependable service you can count on. read more

Kyle was amazing. He came out right away, showed up on time, and was incredibly easy to work with. What really stood out was that he actually figured out the problem when nobody else could. I had other people look at the system before, and none of them were able to properly diagnose what was going on. Kyle took his time, explained what he was seeing, and immediately made things make sense. He was honest, knowledgeable, and never tried to upsell or push unnecessary work. Pricing was very fair, especially considering how responsive and thorough he was. If you are dealing with an HVAC issue and want someone who actually knows what they are doing, I highly recommend Premier Cooling and Heating. read more

Kyle was fantastic from start to finish. He arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC, and clearly explained what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. What I appreciated most was his honesty -- he didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary and focused on getting the system running efficiently again. He worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and made sure the unit was fully tested before leaving. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind -- I wouldn't hesitate to call Kyle again for any HVAC needs. Highly recommend. read more

Right after Thanksgiving on a weekend, my father-in-laws furnace stopped working and after calling multiple business, Kyle responded for an assessment on that same day. Kyle responded promptly and was extremely professional explaining all that he was inspecting. Kyle quickly found the issue (bad valve) and gave us a temporary fix while he ordered the parts. Kyle had the furnace running first thing on Monday at a very reasonable price. I Would absolutely recommend his service and expertise. Thank you again for the help. read more

Once again Premier Cooling and Heating rescued me. The A/C went out and Kyle came over fixed it and had it running again within hours on one of the hottest days of the year. On the first real hot day of the year our AC unit stopped blowing cold air. I called Kyle the next morning and he came out same day to check it out. He did a very thorough inspection and topped off our coolant. He was super transparent and very up front about his thoughts, so I never felt any sort of BS coming off him. His charge was extremely reasonable and the system is working now. I am definitely keeping his number and would call him in a heartbeat if we have any other HVAC issues. Highly recommended! read more

My heater stopped working ...I would hear it start up but no hot air would blow out. I messaged Premier and Kyle got right back to me. He came about 2 hours later...on Sunday morning IN THE RAIN and diagnosed the problem quickly. He gave me a great price and the problem is fixed! Highly recommend! read more

Kyle responded to a Yelp quote request to diagnose a blower issue with our HVAC unit. He did a free assessment and recommended replacing the fan motor on our unit. He gave us a very reasonable price so we decided to have him do the work. He did all the work, but there seemed to be an extra issue that he spent a couple extra hours testing and figuring out. He did just that and solved the issue and still stuck to his original quote. We'll definitely be calling him again as we try to get a bit more life out of our existing system. Thanks Kyle! read more

This is the best AC company I've ever used. The quality of work is perfect and the price is very reasonable. They are very responsive and always come prepared. I have used them multiple times for different projects and was never disappointed. read more

Kyle is the BEST!! When our AC quit, I reached out to several repair businesses. Kyle responded immediately, had the best quote, and was able to get there within only an hour. Of course the problem ended up being bigger than it initially appeared. However, despite having an ancient central AC unit, Kyle was able to do some digging to track down the right parts, work quickly with our schedule, get everything working perfectly, and even take the time to deep clean our whole unit. All for a beyond reasonable price! Aside from the great works he does, he's overall just a great, genuine, trustworthy guy who's got your back in all things HVAC! Thank you Kyle!! read more

I was referred to Kyle by a business partner. I had issues with the power to my Nest thermostat. He was very helpful. He attempted to walk me through a few steps to power up the thermostat so I would save money, because a lot of times it is an easy fix. I was not able to rectify the issue so he came the next day to fix the issue. He was very helpful and walked me through the issues. Turns out, there was a short in the system. He and his associate fixed the problem within an hour. His rates are very very fair. A lot of times it is scary to use people you don't know because you don't want to get overcharged. I highly recommend Kyle and whenever I have another cooling/heating issue I will only use Kyle. read more

We needed a new unit installed as the old one was not keeping up. Kyle answered my call and came within the hour to inspect the situation. It was an urgent matter, and he was able to accommodate to our needs on a quick turnaround. Installation was quick and for a great price. He is a smart guy and helped us understand more of HVAC. Would recommend for future HVAC work. read more

We had Kyle come out and install a condensation trap and sediment trap on the gas line of our package unit on the roof (one that previous Hvac company did not install). He was super honest, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and exactly what top notch customer service looks like. He was able to come out next day after speaking with him to get the job done so we could get our inspection passed. He explained everything he did and answered a few questions we had. We will definitely be using him for all our AC/Hvac needs moving forward and highly recommend! read more

Kyle goes above and beyond to help me find out why my heater wasn't blowing hot air. I would recommend him for your air and heating needs. Pricing is very reasonable than any other company. read more

As summer was just starting, my AC decided to start blowing hot air then not blow any air at all. I thought I could postpone the work to save some money but, being in the valley, it got too hot for us to handle. I was desperate and started looking around for someone late in the afternoon. It was the end of the day for most. While everyone is clocking out and calling it a day, Kyle made himself available to help us out! I was desperate and, thank God, Kyle was around the area and came by, gave us the diagnosis and was able to get it all done the same day and it didn't break the bank :) Within a few short minutes, our unit was up and running and running more efficiently than it has ever run! Thank you, Kyle for coming to our rescue! You were honest and straight to the point. We'll definitely be in touch to make our unit even more efficient. read more

Kyle really saved the day for me. I had a bad experience with another HVAC contractor and Kyle was able to help clean his mess up. I'm extremely grateful and would highly recommend. Thanks Kyle! read more

We had a really old AC unit and it just randomly stopped working, decided to look up on Yelp and lucky I found them, Kyle and his worker are amazing, they did the job the really quick. I already recommended you to my neighbor (maybe I should get a cut ) Thank you Kyle really appreciate it! read more

-Very reasonable/affordable prices -Very responsive -was open/accommodating to all my requests I reached out to many vendors for estimates in putting a dual zone mini split unit. My situation was a bit unique because I wanted specific models/parts and I was willing to buy the unit if the vendor is not able to get them for me. And yes I was being very picky...not an easy customer. Kyle was very friendly and accommodating and was open to do it either way - whether to just perform the install service for the equipment I buy or to get me the equipment as well. And his quote that he gave me initially for install services didn't change even though the complexity changed. Since I was already working with other contracts for my ADU project, he was willing to work around the build schedule and even do multiple visits without asking for an extra penny. I highly recommend Kyle with Premier cooling/heating as he would provide you with honest/affordable pricing, give you his opinion/feedback/suggestion with the years of experience in the industry. read more

Service was excellent! After calling around and getting told I would have to wait several days.. Premier responded right away and was at my door and had me up and running in no time. He did a great job and his prices beat all the other quotes I received from other places. Nothing but 5 stars! Kyle takes the time to explain what is going on and what's needed to be done. He replaced the compressor at my condo and everything works great. Highly recommend! read more

I called. Said he could come the next day at 10 to fix our furnace. Would not tell me how much the service call would be. That seemed strange. Asked me to send him a text with address. I did and included a photo of the filter so he could bring the right size. No word from him until I called him at 2, 4 hours after he was supposed to arrive. Said he never got my text. I told him it showed delivered. Then said he only got the photo. I told him to look above that. Then finally, ok my bad and I can't do it today. Now I have to find someone again last minute. Bottom line: flaky, not truthful and unprofessional. I don't have time for these shenanigans and I am guessing you don't either. read more

Kyle was very thorough when he first visited, he made sure to check everything before he started work. He installed the mini split quickly, replacing an older unit. The installation was neat and he kept the work area clean. The company is very detail oriented and made sure everything was right! I'm very happy and would recommend Primier in the future. read more

My central air and heater wasn't actually heating the house when it's cold and last summer didn't really cool it down either. So once I couldn't take freezing feet anymore I looked around and found this company. I'm happy I contacted them. They came out the next day to see what was wrong and fixed it right there. I wasn't bothered by how much I paid either. Quick and friendly service would definitely recommended. read more

I highly recommend these guys! We got 24 hour service turnaround and they spent 2 hours addressing our problem. They even responded at 11 pm the night before on a weekend and offered to help as soon as possible! Further, they educated us on the problem to help us avoid it in the future and to know what to look for when we have to replace our AC. Smart, kind, efficient. Gave us discounts yet fixed our AC so it runs more efficiently and effectively. I highly, highly recommend these guys and will be calling them again if we have more issues. Thanks for not only repairing our problem, but for teaching us to be smarter consumers! read more

Kyle showed up today to do a quote on replacing my AC system (which two other HVAC techs said was dead and had to be replaced). He was really friendly, showed up wearing a mask and using boot covers. He was very helpful in helping me consider what replacement system I might want, and gave me lots of time and detail on it. As a final step he suggesting looking at the system and seeing what shape it was in. An hour later it was up and running!! In the middle of a heat wave (and me being old with health conditions, I really mean a life saver)! I still have plans to modernize my system, but in the mean time, in the middle of a heat wave, he got me going in no time. I can't say how much he blew me away with his patience, thoughtful consideration and service. And his price for fixing my system was unbelievable (too low to quote)! read more

Our air conditioner froze up during the hottest week. We called two different companies to check the problem. Each told us we had to replace the entire system due to clogged coils. As a third estimate for replacement, we called Premier and Kyle came to take a look. He told us he could clean the coils and felt the unit was in good condition. He worked diligently for a few hours on the unit, cleaned it thoroughly and was able to get our system working just fine...saving us $thousands in replacement! Premier was truly focused on customer service and very thorough on testing and resolving our problem at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company...honest, knowledgeable, and great prices! read more
