They say first impression is the most important but it isn't always the most accurate. The folks at Legendary must have a serious understanding of this philosophy because my first impression of them is VERY positive and reflects all the other positive reviews here on Yelp - friendliness, knowledge, honesty, etc ... Time could only tell if this impression is accurate or not. But sometimes you just know that you're talking to and dealing with genuine people. So for Legendary, I don't worry about first impression not always being accurate. They already backed it up with their down-to-earth reasonable rates, and they came to me via high praises from others (not on Yelp). In fact, their approach to car repairs are so great that I wish their shop is larger and that they work on other Japanese brands. Note to other mechanics out there: it's not really that difficult to have a successful car repair business, just watch what Legendary is doing! read more

I really cannot say enough about the guys at Legendary Automotive. I've been in to see them many times for my 98 Civic. The first time it was because two latches broke. They patiently waited for me to get parts from a friend, even though it turned out to be almost the same price as getting the parts the way that they do. But instead of getting annoyed they just worked with me on it. Then, my car was graffitied with permanent black marker, and they found something that took it right off (for basically nothing). Finally, my back door latch broke, and I was moving to another city. They ordered the clip just to get the part number for me, and didn't charge me anything, at 4:30pm on a Friday. They are simply the nicest, most honest and genuinely helpful mechanics I have ever known. I miss them! Years later, all the work they have done has stood up beautifully. read more

I had a great experience with Legendary Automotives today! Two weeks ago I called and set up an appointment for timing belt package and compliance bushings for today. I dropped off the car quickly and easily this morning and was on my way to work in no time. This afternoon they called with an friendly update. When I went in to pickup the car, the mechanic greeted me and showed me the parts he had pulled and what was wrong with them. Once I moved to Tucson (1992), my Hondas have not been anywhere else! My 1989 Accord had some power window issues, which brought me to Legendary to begin with. Sean was able to diagnose the problem and fix it with a no charge 1 minute soldering! The dealer suggested replacing the motor in the door for the window! My 2001 Accord was also at Legendary throughout its years with me. Again, Sean came up with a repair that cost me under $20, when the dealer told me I needed a whole new "chip package" (a couple thousand dollars with labor). And my "new" car, a 2014 Accord has never been anywhere else for service. The owner really knows what he is doing with Hondas and Acuras. He and his wife are a phenomenal team, and are among the most honest business people I have ever seen. Be sure to bring cookies and a cash bonus for the winter holidays! :) read more

Amazing customer service! I've been coming here for 3 years now, and I have had great experiences every time. I have learned the hard way that Acuras and the universal standard parts do not mix. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. Sean always shows me the old parts that he replaced, and he always gives recommendations for future repairs without any pressure. As a military spouse, my husband is not always able to handle all of the car repairs and I do not feel like I ever get taken advantage of at Lengendary Auto.
