I wish I could recommend this Salon, but the stylists are more loyal to one another than to the customer. Customer Service is missing. Told by my stylist, Deb, after paying $220 plus 20% tip that I could go home and figure out how to style my hair. It was very busy in the salon, and she had 2 other clients waiting. I went home disappointed. No one asks you if you are happy with your service or how they could make it better. In addition, they had a new hire and let her work on my fine-textured hair with platinum bleach. They tried to cut my hair into an inverted bob, but it broke off due to the new hire leaving the bleach on for too long, it looked stringy. Needless to say, I am not returning. The salon tried to make me feel guilty for asking them to fix my hair. The salon asked me to pay for another haircut 2 weeks later, after I had already paid. I have been back 3 times for a service that was not completely rendered successfully. Now, my hair breaks off when I brush it. I know they can't glue hair back on my head, but the lack of empathy is sad. Another stylist at this salon burnt my scalp with bleach and left scabs on my scalp- Morgan. No apology for that either... My husband had to call them because I was crying. We women, go to the salon to feel good about ourselves, not to be ignored or made to feel insignificant by the staff, and pay them for doing this to us. I need to find a new salon that stays current on hair trends, education and customer service. read more

I was all around disappointed from start to finish. I made appts for my daughter-in-law and myself. Now before going further I will mention that my d-i-l was perfectly (100%) happy with the visit. I made appt and was assigned to Renee. I received multiple calls and texts to make sure we would be there.For the $$ i figured we would spend, i expected us both to have our own stylist, especially since we called in advance. Not only did Renee do my hair, but also my d-i-l and some other lady they scheduled. I will not complain about that since Mallory kept us flowing while Renee worked on three paying customers at once. Mallory gave the best shampoo and i highly recommend but please know that you get charged for the shampoo that allows them to remove color out of your hair. They charge for every movement you make without giving an option to do without, but again, no complaints there aside from a shampoo and rinse that should have been included in the hair color being $25 per person. After all was said and done we got the bill which i figured would be pricey but i still had to pay the tip. The machine started at 20% and only went up. With spending over three hundred dollars for both of us not including tax or tip, to get partial highlights and a trim, i was sticker shocked, especially since we shared our time and left quickly. My hair was rushed and i am thoroughly disappointed with what i will have to live with until this grows out, but my d-i-l looks absolutely gorgeous, but she did entering the shop, so theres that. Will i return? No chance. I wanted a place closer than the Zen salon in Westlake that i go to since i used to live in that area. I am sure there are other salons that i could try after this mess on my head grows out but i have learned a valuable lesson. If you have a good but distant favorite place, Legacy taught me to stick to what you know. Please keep in mind that i stated my d-i-l was happy with her hair. The best around, hands down! I drive an hour to go to this salon. Deb is my girl, but every single one of these ladies has talent galore. I dont usually do this, but I just recieved a card in the mail from Renee the lady who did my hair and it struck a nerve. Couple weeks ago I wanted to get my hair permed I was feeling horrible about myself just needed a pick me up and was willing to pay any price. Renee persuaded me not to get a perm because the "quality" of my hair and was rushing to get me out she seemed unwelcoming to a new client and made me feel uncomfortable. She just cut my hair which about 40 bucks and booted me out, nevermind that I requested other services she failed to acknowledged. Just rude, I will never go back or recommend....once I left I drove to Norton to the old fiesta and Tabitha did an amazing job had no problems getting my hair permed like I thought and she did an amazing job...save your money and go somewhere that actually likes making people feel good.... read more

I was debating whether or not I should review, but after some deliberation, I think I should so other people know what they might have to contend with. I will first say that my hairstylist (Renee), knew what she was doing and I was satisfied with the job that she did. I had not gone to a salon in over two years, and so was looking for a cut in addition to some highlights/lowlights for depth. She was not the problem. The issue was with some of the other staff. If I am going to pay over $130 for a cut/coloring, I expect to feel welcome and relaxed. This was not the case. At one point, the owner and some of the other workers were screaming Christmas carols, and believe me when I say strangled ducks would sound far more appealing. I believe my hairstylist said something to them, because they soon stopped after I made a comment and glared at me. Again, I really don't think this is professional. There was also a time when a lady was answering the phones while her hair dye was setting--why would she get her hair done when she was supposed to be taking calls? If I walked into a hair salon and saw the receptionist with glops of hair dye smeared all over her head, I would probably just walk right out. However, the worst part of my experience was when I was getting my hair shampooed. There was this young woman (I think her name was Ariel, she had bleached blonde hair), who reached across my hairstylist to the cabinet above me, recklessly grabbing items, so I wasn't surprised when a bottle flew off the shelf and almost hit my head. My hairstylist went to grab the bottle, but dropped the detachable shower head....needless to say, my shirt was soaking wet. Now I understand accidents happen, but this girl, rather than apologizing, just laughed! That was what offended me the most. She clearly wasn't sorry at all, she found it funny that she got my shirt wet. Needless to say, when I was asked to make my next appointment, I declined. Looks like I will need to find another hair salon around the Wadsworth area. read more

I recently had a shampoo at Legacy Hair Studios in Wadsworth. It was an amazing experience! The staff were all friendly and personable. They were obviously well-trained and professional. Not only did they take care of me for what I went in for...but they went far beyond. Secret: I was there on a gift-certificate, so they weren't going above and beyond "for the money". Thanks, Legacy!
