I was in The Fairborn area for work and looking for someplace to grab a quick lunch. I stopped in Lefty's. It's a small little place that was super clean! They had a limited buy very adequate lunch menu with sandwiches and salads. I had a combo meal with their chicken Caesar salad and pulled pork grilled cheese. Food was quick, tasted great, and the perfect size for lunch. I will be back the next time I am in the area! Defiantly worth a try! read more

What a great place! I love the feel of this place. It's edgy and you can tell they care about the food and their customers. The cherry pie is TO. DIE. FOR. Simply amazing. Coffee is pretty good although I personally prefer a much stronger coffee. They worked well with our allergies without making us feel like we were putting them out. So great. I wish we didn't live so far away because this would be a staple of our weekend brunch. read more

This shop was a little out of the way for us in our travels, but well worth it!! Their shop was clean and well taken care of. All COVID precautions were taken. Staff were knowledgeable and kind. I had a cappuccino and a slice of apple pie, my friend had the blackberry pie. Cappuccino: classic and delicious. Apple pie: great, but nothing special. BlackBerry: fantastic. Visited this place over a month ago and I still remember the bad experience I had with the owner of this place. I asked questions about the food and dare to have small talk with him. He snapped on me. Told me he needed to concentrate on making my Americano. (Which was bad btw) Because he would not answer any questions about the food I asked for samples. He got more upset and yelled he's not into giving out free food. The owner then said just look on Yelp you'll see all the reviews about my food. At this point he saw that I was getting upset and he did Apologize however still just felt really disrespected for just asking questions about his food. This coffee house is really needed in this community however I hope the owner change his attitude because I doubt the community will continue to support if he continues to be standoffish. read more

Very small place in downtown Fairborn does not disappoint. We had breakfast there and it was delicious and a good value. The coffee shop atmosphere is wonderful. We are going to need to go back to sample some of their homemade pies. There were so many variations! read more

My husband and I dined at Lefty's last week and we enjoyed the experience. He ordered a grilled sandwich that was filled with crab (It was real crab and they weren't stingy). I had the Baja Chicken Wrap with pasta salad. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meals. There isn't a lot of seating indoors, but they have a few tables set up on the sidewalk just outside, which is where we ate. The meal itself was a pleasant experience. I also want to mention that the prices were reasonable. Now for the downside: Service was slow, especially for a place where you order (and pay) at the counter before you get your meal. It was nearly 1/2 an hour before we received our food. Thankfully, the food was delicious and we had beautiful weather, so it was OK in the end. I suspect they were short-staffed like every other restaurant in the area seems to be. So, I give them four stars instead of the five I wanted to give them. It's so nice to find a gem like this in Fairborn. We will definitely go back. read more

The coffee was really good! Really cute spot to sit for a spell either outside or inside. I got a cappucino which was on point. The place has a variety of food and snacks. I got one piece of pie to eat there and one to go and my fiend also got a slice. I was not impressed with the pie. Although all the pies were very pretty most of the fillings tasted canned and the crusts were very basic. I give the place props for serving pie (bc I am a big pie fan), but I would not get any next time. Of the three I tried the blackberry was the best. The apple almost definitely was just canned pie filling and the coconut was just okay. If I went back I would order a savory food or get one of their breakfast options. The french toast looked delicious but I have to wonder if it is like the pies and the taste does live up to the presentation. I would return to this place and try other foods and I would definitely return to get more coffee! read more

I'm from out of town and I work with various third wave coffee shops in Arizona, and coming here I was honestly surprised when I got my coffee. I got a shot of espresso and a black cold brew, and what took me most by surprise was the quality of their espresso. The espresso was smooth, not in the slightest was there any notes of over roasting, over/under extraction, flavor profile was very sweet and nutty, and very delicious. Only thing I'd recommend for this place is a better cold brew recipe to really bring out the flavor in the coffee that they use to brew, since it is a little watered down. But apart from that, the customer service was nice, what appears to be the owner and/or manager pulled my espresso and did a great job at it. Very well done! read more

I was very excited to hear about Fairborn's new sandwich shop. So when I traveled to the base, I stopped by Lefty's for lunch. Sadly, I was rather disappointed when I tried the Jerk Chicken sandwich. Honestly, it was chicken made with a "Jerk" seasoning, meaning, it was loaded with salt and not a lot of flavor. To add insult to the flavor, it was missing a fair amount of chicken salad. So, overall, the price was extremely high for the amount/quality. However, I did get a latte and it was good. So if you're in downtown Fairborn, stop by for a latte but not a sandwich. read more
