    Hot honey pizza

Amazing I hadn't been in for a few years & forgot how good it is! Had a hot honey pizza this visit and highly recommend! The crust was crisp and amazing! Great flavor & love their pepperoni. Service was great

My partner and I had dinner last night at Giovanni's and it was awesome! He had been here before and this was my first visit. As you walk in, you're immediately greeted by friendly staff and the wonderful smell of freshly baked pizza in a quaint, cute older restaurant. We sat down and ordered the Deluxe and breadsticks. The breadsticks were awesome and were served with a melted garlic butter and their house made marinara. Both were great! The pizza was one of my favorites I've had in Ohio! Loaded with fresh toppings, cut into Dayton cut squares and just all around delicious! I was really impressed by Giovanni's and we'll definitely be back!!

Gotta love those family joints where the food, service, and ambiance are excellent. If you're a fan of Ted Lasso the American version of Rebecca was our server Ashley. She was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!

Oh my goodness! HOW HAVE I NOT REVIEWED THIS YET!?! This place is amazing. Think community gem. Un-imposing building, and kind of the most amazing garlic dressing that you want to drink straight out of the container. We came during COVID-19,and had a limited menu, but what we had....they delivered. A lovely wine selection. A thoughtful staff. And wonderful menu offerings that don't feel like a limited menu at all. This is all to say that I've never tried their pizza, which seems to be one of the most popular menu items, and I am still completely infatuated with their amazing Italian food. If I can leave you with one thing...get the garlic dressing...it's EVERYTHING.

They don't have items on their menu at 5 pm. Really??? Why have a menu. Only healthy thing on the menu.

The food here is not bad but it's not that great either. I'm guessing that people come here to…read moredrink because it's a bar as well. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries yesterday and today I order the Chicken Wings and Sweet Potato Fries with a Raspberry Ice Tea. This place is just ok, nothing to write home about! I'm sure your asking why did I come here twice, well I'm visiting Dayton Ohio and I'm staying at Hope Hotel right outside of Wright Patterson Air Force Base and this Restaurant is attached to the hotel! I came here for the convenience. There was pretty much no service, it took about 1 hour to be seen so they could take an order and another two to bring the food out, it maybe because it's laid back type of place! Nevertheless, plenty people come here because of the Air Force Base but service is really bad and food is just ok! The atmosphere is great because it's a bar full of retired and active military folks also it's a sports bar. It was clean and when you get service they are very pleasant to talk to. Would I recommend this place, No! However, if you are stuck at this hotel and can't go anywhere else. I suggest that you sit at the bar because they concentrate more on the alcohol than the food and services.

After a long day of driving I really didn't feel like finding a place to eat. Luckily Packy's was…read morein the hotel and we were provided with a $5 coupon to try it out. For a sports bar it was good. Plenty of options to watch sporting events depending where you sit. There were also games to play, darts, pool etc. There was a good vibe if that's what you are looking for. The food choices were good although I wasn't overly hungry. I ordered a side salad w/Blue Cheese. It was a typical salad but the bowl/plate was warm. Salad never will taste good in a warm bowl. Bowl needs to be chilled!!! My wife and I ordered Chicken Tenders & fries. The fries were terrible and we ordered them crispy they did not come that way. It's unlike any fry I've ever had, that needs to be scrapped and get a new variety. The Tenders were good however, the sauce choices were iffy! The Thai Chili was good but the honey mustard - that's a big no. Service was great and we enjoyed her. Overall this was a convenient location to eat after a long day on the road!

First of all -- **Griffins**. Half lion. Half eagle. All attitude. Basically, the spirit animal of anyone ordering a beer flight at 11am. #TwelveStepProgram First Glance Right across from Wright State -- clearly targeting the college crowd and confused grandparents babysitting in bars. #IsawYou #BabyInABar **Beer Menu:** Large. I couldn't tell elk from boar from bison from wagyu -- but it was **good**, different, and worth stepping outside my comfort zone. Also salty. Deliciously salty. The Restroom Now, let's address the unsung hero of any dining experience, especially for a man pushing 50 who just crushed a long drive, a bottle of water, and a flight of beers. Yes... the restroom. Gentlemen, I'm happy to report that The Wandering Griffin passes the bathroom test with flying colors. The restroom was immaculate, which already puts it ahead of about 70% of establishments serving beer. Plenty of urinals -- no awkward waiting, no weird eye contact, no life choices being questioned. Just efficiency.
