I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone near the 8 mile area to try the food here, the customer service is GREAT!!

Yum yum yum. Lefty's cheesesteaks so gooooodddd. I used to hate cheesesteaks. Maybe the schools cafeteria ruined it for me. So I always avoided cheesesteaks until I became a major foodie and wanted to retry foods, trying to force myself to maybe like it! I was a little traumatized. Oh how I've been missing out on the cheesesteaks thoughhhh. It's okay. We met again and I love it! This place, so good. I know it's a chain. I haven't been to the original place but this location is the closest for me though it's still a little out of my way, it's okay! Can't complain. I got takeout here and it was fairly fast. Service was awesome. The cashier and the cook was super cool. There's still so much I have to try! I WANT EVERYTHING. Also, extra hot pepper is a must! Or ask for some of the side and smear it inside of your sandwich since they mainly just put it on the outside. I love peppers. I need to dine in and eat it fresh one day. Pretty big place and parking is easy. Though this place is on Woodward, even if you miss the first entrance, there's still a bunch of other entrances you can go to to get to this place since meijer is right there. Till we meet again!

While I had never heard of this place it was recommended by a friend so I figured let's give them a shot and see what they have. I was a little underwhelmed by the customer service I received. I mentioned to the cashier that I've never been here and didn't know what I wanted. A little suggestive selling would've been nice so that I could know what you were famous for. The sandwich I got was OK. No bells, no whistle's, nothing fancy... just OK. Being that this place is close to home I greatly would love to love them however it's just OK. Maybe if I came on another day, at another time, I might get the magical experience that my friend had it fell flat for me.

New Items! All so delicious! South Paw wedges, BBQ Banger, Grim Reaper

We sure did enjoy this food and the newest monthly items added to their menu were more than beyond words exquisitely delicious We had the opportunity to review these items: BBQ Banger Southpaw wedges The Grim Reaper Lefty's Sliders Which you can order by Grubhub and DoorDash We were pleased to learn that Sam Berry, the founder and owner, is actually left-handed! Not to mention he is a strong survivor of cancer He actually had always thought that he struggled in a right handed world, so he made Lefty's, to bring awareness to left handed people to celebrate in creativity! He gets his success and experience from his past days of working as a franchisee of three different brands. Sam was always frustrated because he didn't have the freedom to create his own types of food styles and changes. That's why he created Lefty's in his own style of food, that he thought of outside of the bun Lefty's has been established for over ten years! So far they've got 30 locations Their slogan is "The hottest franchise in America!" Since of course, Lefty's is one of the worlds fastest growing franchises in Michigan and with good reason of course. They are soon seeking to expand world wide and internationally. So far in the Greater Detroit area there is 27 locations. Lefty's is opening a bunch of new locations, including one that we are very excited about... The Foodsquadders hometown, West Bloomfield! We're excited to announce we'll be attending and hosting at the grand opening! Keep notifications on our posts on for when we have a date! We're so excited we'll have a Lefty's right in our neighborhood!

Lefty's Cheesesteak in a hot dog bun

Having lived in Philly, I keep giving Lefty's a chance but unfortunately this will be the last straw. If you really want a cheesesteak, go elsewhere. Otherwise you'll end up with a very sad hot dog bun and a thin, pasty layer of meat. The fact that this abomination is worth $12 is absurd. Never again...

Was in town for a small road trip and decided to check the place out. Very glad I did. Very friendly staff, service was quick and the food was delicious! You won't regret coming here!

My experience with the 12 " Southpaw was amazing. I went with my wife and friends from Chicago .they loved the food and the crew was very friendly.

I am a huge Leftys fan. I have been to coming to them for at least 3 years now and it's really cool to see how much they've grown. It is definitely my go to cheesesteak spot in Michigan. I don't usually eat many sandwiches, but I find myself craving leftys all of the time. The cheesesteak is my favorite thing on the menu... actually the Southpaw Cheesesteak. It has white cheese, steak, cheese whiz and crushed hot Cheetos. This sandwich is addicting!!! Next on the menu I love the corned beef eggs rolls. They're the type of special restaurant snack you can't really find anywhere. Loaded fries, loaded tots and corned beef sandwiches are all so tasty as well. What impresses me most about the different locations is the consistency in the food. Which ever Leftys location you go to, you're sure to have the same quality and care going into your meal. That's why they're one of my favorite restaurants in Michigan.

We have a lot of retro vibe going on, but it has a little hint of modernness though with the history. You'll come in and and you'll hear music playing in the background and it's a little bit aged, but it's a really chill vibe and it's not going to be the party kind of music you're looking for. Which is okay if that's not what you want! I have no issue with the service and everybody was pretty cool. The waitress was super friendly, especially when I couldn't make up my mind because there are so many options lol. It's tree pockets so you have to park on Michigan Ave but there is plenty of it. Depending on what kind of day or night it is though. But just be aware you have to pay for parking. Seasoned fries - the fries come very seasoned and super crispy. You get a ton of them as well. You may not even need ketchup actually. French onion - this burger was good. Came with some onion rings kinda on the side. It was cooked medium and they got it pretty right with the temp. The cheese was melted well and it was seasoned pretty good also. Blt - this was a good BLT and it was very stacked. I'm not sure if you can make it out from the picture but it had plenty of everything on here. The bacon tasted great. Tots - they came out really hot and super crispy and actually gave you a heck of a lot of them too so that definitely helped but these are really good and you didn't even need ketchup.

Given the weather outside, we would have taken any place that had four walls and basic heating but the aesthetic of MB was fun, kinda like a retro diner. We took a seat at the bar. Since the Boston cooler was already decided, we just needed to pick out a beverage. I briefly considered trying one of their draught beers but then remembered that would not be good for the bladder and we were a ways from the hotel. They have creative cocktails so that made it easy. We ordered both the (and this is from memory because they savagely don't have a cocktail menu online) cherry poppins (cherry whiskey, neither of us remember what else was in it other than the chardonnay float which was very interesting) and a basil ?italian margarita with blackberry. Both were very strongly flavored, not for child-like palates. The Boston cooler, btw, was BETTER THAN SEX. Good thing that shit isn't anywhere near where I live that could be dangerous. We didn't try any of the food but it looked delicious especially the pile of fries I saw on some plates as they were coming out for other patrons. Good spot I'm glad we parked here for some of our afternoon.
