This location is nice and clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I ate in as carry out burgers and fries lose something in the journey home. Food was fresh and hot. Burger was cooked really well and was very tasty. I ordered the southwest burger and it was quite good. Fries were also really good. I got Cajun cheese fries and enjoyed them. Portion was huge. After seeing so many reviews on social media, I stopped in since I was in the area. Large clean dining area with charging stations. I ordered the 3 sliders which had very thin patties and too much salt. I told the guy and after talking to the owner, he asked if he could make another without salt. He also offered a complimentary drink. The new order was much better but when I asked where is the cheese, he pointed out the little melted drop in the center. The skimpy amount of cheese was a joke. Anthony came to me repeatedly apologizing for the salt. I appreciated that. The $11 burgers was just a 2.5 out of 10. I can take that off my "must try" list and move on. Great burger spot. Parking can be challenging at peak hours due to other businesses in strip mall. Ample and clean seating inside for parties of 4 or less. staff was friendly and helpful to describe the menu that has some inventive burgers. Highly recommend the "Good Burger"- Pretzel Bun, Topped with Cheese Sticks, American Cheese, Onion Rings and Good Burger Sauce. This is one tasty burger. Let me start by saying I stared going to Zo's Goodburger when they started in a gas station near my work in East Dearborn. When we learn we were getting on here, I was super excited. We had the goodburger and Cajun fries. They were excellent. My husband loved the milkshake. We also got the food truck chicken sandwich. The flavors were really good. Unfortunately they must have fried it in the same oil as their fish. It tasted like fish, and I hate fish. I'm hoping they fix that. I've had the sandwich previously and loved it. read more

Extremely solid burger and fries. Ordered takeout for lunch. Place was empty when I went. Two employees working and I only waited 2-3 mins for my food to be ready. I ordered the double good burger which was very good. Patties were cooked perfectly and everything was well seasoned. The onion ring could have been crispier, but overall it was very good. The cajun fries were equally delicious. Massive serving size too on those. Crispy and well seasoned, the fries hit the spot. Excellent service, they were patient because it was my first time and wasn't sure what to get. Decided to go with the Build Your Own Burger combo. Not a long wait at all for the food. 4/5 because I'm not a big fan of the fries and that is just a personal preference on how I like mine fried (Cajun ones are still delicious). The burger is good with a lot of flavor but just a tad salty, but that could be because of the turkey bacon addition. I had heard good things about this franchise, and when it opened in Royal Oak I was excited to try it out. Not knowing much about the menu I asked the gentleman at the counter, he was more than happy to explain everything on the menu. It was such a good experience to have such a knowledgeable cashier and of course he probably has a bigger part in this as well. I got the original burger and it was delicious, I would say I had a little bit of a sticker shock on the price of my entire order which contained two burgers one with an extra Patty two orders of onion rings and one soft drink it was 40 plus dollars. The food was delicious but it's a little bit too rich for my pocketbook. The place was clean and well maintained. I'm sure it's the economy that is suggesting their prices and it has nothing to do with the business itself. Give it a try just be aware. read more

Can I give this place 10 stars? It's so tasty. Finally a great burger in our area. The food is great. The burger is an angus burger elevating it above and others around. The fries are perfect. We also had a chicken sandwich which was amazing. All served with their special sauce. It's nice to have a new go-to for burgers around here. The restaurant is very clean as well. We did have takeout so I cannot speak to any dining in, but it's very clean, new and the staff is friendly. Yum. read more

The customer service at Zo's is amazing! Our online order was running behind (they were slammed not a big deal) and not only was the worker there extremely accommodating and kind but the owner called afterwards to check on our order. That kind of care for their customers is rare and should be noted. Not only that our food was great! The fries were crispy and the burgers were top notch. Zo's is good, but not great. The fries were really good and customer service was excellent, but the burger was just OK and was a bit light on the amount of beef. For an $11 burger, I'd expect double the amount of beef. The food wasn't bad, but there are better options for the price and better burgers overall at other locations. read more

The vibe of the building is really cool. Welcoming. The staff is all about customer service. From the moment I walked in the door, I was taken care of. I was greeted by two employees and immediately given a menu. I asked the young man (Mo I think was his name) what he recommended and he suggested build a burger. Good choice! I had a classic burger with Cajun fries and a Mt.Dew. The fries were crispy and hot, seasoned to perfection. The burger was hand patted and very tasty. They told me the only use fresh not frozen beef and all ingredients are locally sourced. If I had a compliant at all it would be the door to the restroom. Like many places, it was really heavy and difficult to open. You see, I'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. It was difficult getting in and out of the restroom. But wait... Here comes the staff. They pushed me to my table, offered to move the table in order to make things easier for me, helped me out of the door and into the Uber when I left. I really felt special. Today was my first time trying Zo's Good Burger in Royal Oak and it was a great experience. I placed our order on line and our order was ready in 10 minutes! We ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger, a building your own burger and a side of regular fries and an order of Cajun fries. We had given specific instructions on our order and everything was as we requested. The burger meat is so fresh it could have been made in your own kitchen! Ordered a BBQ burger and a strawberry cheesecake shake on my lunch break and both were so good! The burger was delicious and the shake actually tasted like strawberry cheesecake!
