Even though I had to wait, they invited me to choose my nail color from the wall shelf and sit in a massage/salon chair where I could at least turn on the automatic massage feature on my chair and enjoy the rolling and kneading mechanism until a nail technician was available. There was also a home renovation show playing on the television with the captions on to help pass the time. Whether you have an appointment or not, you will check in at the front desk with your cell phone number. A laminated menu is provided with detailed descriptions allowing you to choose the nail services you want. Some use paraffin wax, hot stones, a variety of fragrances like lavender or vanilla, and different amounts of time for massage. The price for these services is also clearly labeled so that you know what you will be spending. Prices seemed reasonable with basic manis and pedis starting around $45. The place has been decorated with pink and black and has a chic feel with the crystal chandeliers and the cute French street mural on the entry wall. My technicians worked diligently and communicated mostly through hand gestures. I was okay with this since I really wanted to lie back and relax. My manicurist was amazing. She was very detailed and did an amazing job in precisely coloring my nail beds. They do a fine job here. You will get quality service and a decent value for money here.

My first visit was with Jasmine, and she used expert precision to execute my nail design exactly like the photograph. Yesterday, I was seen by another lady (her name escapes me), but I know she has two grandchildren. I let her free style the design on my pedicure, and it came out better than expected. After me picking out about five different colors and them not having them a new technician came over and proceeded to say I will mix some colors together to make the color you are asking for I said OK let me see, the technician proceeded to mix the colors and paint them on a tip for me to see. The color was not anything that I was interested in at this point. I am like OK I should have just kept the design I came in with on my nails and never stopped here. I was saying this to myself of course not to the technician. I actually opted in to show them a picture after the technician asked me did I have a picture of something I may like, the technician proceeded to paint my nails with just a black pen over the powder colors already on my nails. At the register the receptionist rang the price and it is $50. I am like "no I am not paying that because you guys didn't have any colors I wanted and you guys had to make up something for me to get because my nail design had already been taken off." Had I came in for a design initially this would have been acceptable however, I didn't so the $30 was already too much being as though I had to go through so much to even get this on my nails. Which I reiterate, was not what I initially came in for. Long story short if you are looking for a variety of colors, do not come here because they are not here. Ask before you sit down if they have the color that you need if you shall venture here anyway. This is my recommendation. Bad experience and might I say I'm new to Texas. Sometimes good, sometimes, not so much. Today? Horrible requested a dip manicure. I had been ill so my nails were about a week past my normal 12-14 day timing. As a result, one of my nails was broken across the nail bed. I let the tech know so that she could be careful with removal and let me know options for reapplication. Long story short, she was very rough with me throughout the service despite me telling her multiple times to pay more attention and not be so careless. She gave no gentle care to the finger with the broken nail and hurt me while handling it several times. On top of that she drilled and hurt my cuticles across all my nails when she was taking the old dip off. I kept pulling my hands away from the pain and she would say sorry but not change her approach. When she was buffing my nails towards the end, she kept painfully buffing the actual skin on my fingers! Again, I stopped her, explained what she was doing and told her she was being rough. She said sorry but kept half paying attention to what she was doing, laughing with her coworkers and continued the same way. I have never had anyone be that irresponsible and rough with me. Ever! So for the first time ever, I did not tip. And I always tip at least 20%. 25% for designs. I would list her name but the receipt says "John T." so I assume she rang me under someone else's name which makes me wonder if she's even licensed. I'll never return to this salon.
