I have been here a few times when I can't get in with my regular bail tech as the location is convenient. However, the quality of work here is highly inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes, not so much. Today? Horrible requested a dip manicure. I had been ill so my nails were about a week past my normal 12-14 day timing. As a result, one of my nails was broken across the nail bed. I let the tech know so that she could be careful with removal and let me know options for reapplication. Long story short, she was very rough with me throughout the service despite me telling her multiple times to pay more attention and not be so careless. She gave no gentle care to the finger with the broken nail and hurt me while handling it several times. On top of that she drilled and hurt my cuticles across all my nails when she was taking the old dip off. I kept pulling my hands away from the pain and she would say sorry but not change her approach. When she was buffing my nails towards the end, she kept painfully buffing the actual skin on my fingers! Again, I stopped her, explained what she was doing and told her she was being rough. She said sorry but kept half paying attention to what she was doing, laughing with her coworkers and continued the same way. I have never had anyone be that irresponsible and rough with me. Ever! So for the first time ever, I did not tip. And I always tip at least 20%. 25% for designs. I would list her name but the receipt says "John T." so I assume she rang me under someone else's name which makes me wonder if she's even licensed. I'll never return to this salon. read more

Worst nails ever. Asked for thinner tip and she said they "can't" only for gel x trying to charge me $30 extra just for thinner tip. (which at every other nail salon they can do dipping French thinner. Super bumpy nails, each nail is a different shape. I kept making comments on what to fix and she just kept telling me no. i hate even writing this because i really love this place. the owners are amazing, the managers are so kind, and the concept is honestly so good. ive come before and had great experiences, which makes this even more frustrating, but this last visit was genuinely awful. she would not stop talking loudly to her friends the entire time. not just a little chatter, like full volume nonstop while i was just sitting there trying to relax. it completely ruined the experience. i paid for an hour and she rushed through everything in maybe 20 minutes and acted like she could not care less. my service also started way later than everyone else in my group, and when i said something she just brushed it off and made an excuse that didnt even make sense because everyone else was still going. then she barely did anything to make up for it. her long nails actually cut my calf which is insane and should never happen. i was already uncomfortable at that point and then it just kept getting worse. she asked if i wanted gel, i said no twice very clearly, and she still used it anyway and tried to say she thought i said yes. she would not listen until the manager had to step in and tell her not to charge me. this felt so careless and honestly stressful instead of relaxing. it really seems like a complete gamble depending on who you get, and unfortunately this experience was bad enough that it makes me not want to come back at all because i cant risk going through something like this again. read more

Very impressed! I was taking my mom out for her birthday and we were randomly driving when we thought about doing our nails and thought of this place. We arrived too late as the sign said they closed at 7 and we were close to that time. The owner saw us leaving and he called us to come in saying they were open 24/7. We felt bad going in that late, but he insisted. We came in and saw how beautiful and clean it was inside! We were instantly seated and the services began immediately! Everyone was just so sweet! Helen asked my mom what we were up to and my mom mentioned that i brought her here as a birthday present, and Helen let everyone know that it was my moms birthday. literally every employee and every customer wished my mom a happy birthday! The owner even played the birthday song over the speaker system! They really made my mom feel special! We instantly loved this place for its beauty, cleanliness, but overall how the staff and the owner made us feel! After Dawn started my nails, I informed her that she selected the wrong color and she ARGUED with me and told me that I chose that color and refused to correct the color. It is so frustrating when you are clearly treated differently because you didn't choose a higher priced service. I rarely get my nails done except for special occasions and I always just get the classic service because I simply don't want the massage, scrubs, etc. that keep you there for 2 hours. I just want my nails done well. I get regular polish because gel always destroys my natural nails that I work so hard to maintain. They asked me 10 times if I wanted gel and I kept saying no and they pushed me to get the next level up for my pedicure because I wanted the callus removal add on. It was a cucumber service and I don't like the smell of cucumber but I was so tired of fighting them I just agreed so we could move on. When they asked me what I wanted to drink I just said water - never got that. The lady rushed through my french tip manicure and didn't bother to paint all the way to the edge. The filing was rough and I had to refile at home hoping I wouldn't mess them up. She only added the white tip and didn't do the sheer pink coat for the rest of my nail so those are just clear. Then she proceeded to sit there on her phone the rest of the time I was there while the guy finished my pedicure. I gave 2 stars because the guy doing my pedicure was nicer and took his time to do a better job. read more

I waited 30+ mins and never got one person approach me for the Castle King Pedi. My wife was helped almost immediately (a good thing as I'm just tagging along). I say all that to say, if a service has to be begged for, it's most likely not going to be a good place to visit a second time. **Update** Once service was received, great products, some nice folks. I was very disappointed with my experience today. I went in asking for a solar nail acrylic set on my hands with red gel (the same that would be used on my toes). I believe they still gave me dip powder nails, because I looked over and saw the NexGen jar of powder. The nails shape and texture isn't rounded and smooth like acrylic. The powder is a dry/bumpy texture, and I'm not a fan of how it came out. One of the worst things that can happen when getting you nails done is getting nicked with the drill or cut by a sharp file. I got nicked twice and it hurts so bad. I'm not looking forward to the constant irritation over the next few days. Over all, I'm sad and very disappointed with my experience here today. I believe I asked for something very simple, so I'm truly shocked at the result. A year ago today, I checked out this salon and loved it.
